Worth a try if you haven't found one you like yet
What do you like best about the product?
I liked that our data was no longer dispersed among various silos.
What do you dislike about the product?
I didn't like that it was such a long process to give authorization for other teams to see data they needed for any reason that there was a crossover.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helped us to add assets in multiple ways, maximizing search filters.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Set up a healthy level of control. You don't want too much data floating about, but it can get frustrating when collaborating cross-teams.

Easy to find data, categorize and share data, analytical models and their relationships with others. Automatically discover, cleanse and transform data for productive use
What do you dislike about the product?
This is so easy to operate, help users make the best utilization of their data in terms of processing, sharing. So there's nothing I dislike about it so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It provides a common business language that is easy to understand. I can share data with my colleagues using IBM Watson Knowledge Catalog.

What do you like best about the product?
There are so many great things about IBM Watson. The best part is the ability to do to the following things. One of the thing is the ability to use data policy activities that provide insight into the effectiveness and enforcement of active policy management. It also offers features where one can review policies and set rules if you want to make the data private which gives you the ability to classify data things such as sensitive data. Also while using the software you will be able to review information that links business definition with sensitive Information to the data assets that are classified. The last feature I like the best is the ability to set policies and rules that govern them.
What do you dislike about the product?
As with any software it takes awhile to learn all the features. I wish there were more tutorials available on how to do certain features. The nature of the business is that we need to have access to AI to better personalize the service for to our clients.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem we try to solve in our business is how to serve our clients better. This software is amazing when it comes to solving that problem. With the magnitude of clients we serve we wouldn't be able to do it without AI and IBM Watson. It is a very engaging software and I would highly recommend someone who is looking to solve business related problems to use it.

One of the best AI softwares I have used. It meets the requirement of what my business needs and it is the leading edge for the next generation of software. It has great collaboration features and the artificial intelligence is cutting edge.

I am always on the search for convenient solutions and easy to deploy tools to share with our clients. The Watson Kowledge Catalog provides me with a great overview and ready to use selection of IBM"s offer.

I sometimes do have difficulties in signing in when I am in geographies other than home.

The way Watson is evolving by addressing the needs for its users, and the catalog product has been asked for.

Only that this would have been implemented earlier.

After the data has been properly standardized, the ability to "catalog" the sets for Watson Analytics was very useful.
