1Password for a solid cross-platform password managementtool

  • October 25, 2017
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to synchronize all of my credentials across multiple devices and operating systems and the ability to utilize Dropbox for those sync files.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the UI elements could use some modernizing. But those are minimal as the functionality is the important part.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We utilize 1Password to synchronize credentials among workstations and Dropbox so that everything is always up to date when we change credentials periodically.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you want a good, solid credential management solution, 1Password offers great features in cross-platform operability and cloud sync of data.

What do you like best about the product?
Does exactly what it promises. Great implantation with all major browsers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Doesn’t work with Vivaldi. Subscription pricing is too $$$. I
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows for security since no longer is it just one password for every site.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
With new functionality coming with Apple products, I don’t see a future for this.

Reliable Password Manager with ample features

  • October 24, 2017
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I have been using 1Password for nearly 3 years, and it is one of the best password manager softwares with all the basics done right.
What do you dislike about the product?
Though the desktop version(Mac) is available to purchase for a one time fee, the full version of the app for Android/Iphone requires subscription, which I hate. I can pay 20$ for the software as a one-time fee, but not 3$ per month forever.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using a password manager has become essential, since you cannot use the same password for all the websites, because if a hacker gets access to your password in one of your account, he could basically break in to all the sites to which you have the same password. I like the password generator functionality of 1Password which helps you create a password based on custom rules that you can define. Also, the WatchTower functionality in the Desktop App will review the passwords and advice whether you're having bad/repeated passwords, etc.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
1Password is the best software for password management in the market. If you're ok with the cost of the product, look no further than 1Password. There are other free alternatives such as LastPass which are almost as good as 1Password.

Easiest way to manage passwords and secure information

  • October 20, 2017
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Simple shortcut to autocomplete login forms in any browser. It has Strong Password Generator and it supports multiple platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes you need to restart the browser if the shortcut doesn't work. Not sure if it supports 2FA, if it does then there should be a tutorial or help section to show how its done.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing passwords and other secure information. Primary benefit is that you can have multiple secure passwords for multiple accounts and not worry about remembering any of them. You can also use 1Password to generate strong passwords with the built in tool. The security audit feature lets you analyze and find weak passwords which should be changed.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just get this product for a hassle free way to manage your passwords. With accounts getting hacked and the need for keeping more secure passwords, 1Password comes in handy with remembering long secure passwords and having different passwords for different accounts.

1Password has made it possible to use multiple secure passwords for different accounts and be confident that you’ll remember the password when you need it.

Simple, but good

  • October 07, 2017
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to manage. It's very user friendly and I don't have to worry about trying to keep track of all of my passwords. I have lots of frequent travel accounts for work and this app makes it easy to keep track of all my unique passwords. The recent integration into the new Apple iOS is great too!
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not the prettiest app. There are also a number of common log-ins that are not options, which means I don't have the icons for all of them. Not the worst in the world, but it would make it easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Trying to keep track of passwords. I don't have to call IT help to have my password re-set

What do you like best about the product?
Running a startup means we use lots of online software. 1Password is the most elegant, secure management for passwords, password updates and password audits that I've ever seen.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing that I dislike about this software
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1Password allows us to manage passwords almost like a password locker. You use 1 password and you gain access to all the passwords you need. When websites force you to change your update, the changes are automatically updated. We waste no time guessing passwords and getting locked out of accounts. Additionally, we've chosen password "recipes" that are really complex (many symbols, many numbers and a good mix of upper and lowercase that are 17 characters or longer
Recommendations to others considering the product:
1Password is a well-written piece of software and they have excellent support. Additionally, you can seamlessly use it on computers, mobile devices, and tablets without fear. They also feature articles on how they come up with complex methods of encrypting data and really locking up your data so that only you can access it.
