1Password is great for Team Password Administration, sharing notes, logins, personal vaults and more
What do you like best about the product?
How easy it is to use, whether saving passwords and sharing notes or retrieving them in a hurry while on the phone with a client
What do you dislike about the product?
The Document system is not like ITGlue, which I am used to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The speed of and finding a password when I need it
Life Saving software
What do you like best about the product?
Using many different sites and software which we share within the organisation sometimes - This software helps me keep all the passwords safe in one place - And share with my teammates (Including 2FA and security codes)
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found any issues with 1Password yet for the last few years. There have been a lot of updates most recently, after updates it requires chrome to reset. Which makes it difficult at times for people who has a lot of important tabs opened.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were trying to secure all our organisational passwords with the help of a secure password manager. 1Password has allowed our whole organisation to have access to all the passwords as such as our Youtube channel, Salesforce, Hubspot (All main marketing or sales admins) without needing to ask each other in busy times. Surely this software has been one of the best.
A once great product destroyed by greedy developers
What do you like best about the product?
1Password was one of the best password keepers out there. However, AgileBits (the company that owns 1Password) has decided to completely destroy a once great product due to the influx of venture capital (VC) money. 1Password 8 is no longer the best password keeper out there, in fact it is now the one password keeper I warn people not to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
As of 1Password 8, AgileBits has made a number of questionable changes. These include: transitioning to an Electron app that is more resource-intensive and less responsive than the previous native app; removing the ability to have a local non-cloud based vault (i.e., being able to be in complete control of your own data); and removing the ability to purhcase a standalone license thus forcing all users into a subscription model. And these are just the headline features, a number of smaller changes have been made to 1Password 8 that makes it a less intuitive and more frustrating experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1Password is like any other password keeper: it allows you to have one master password that you must remember, and you let the app handle all of the rest of your passwords for you. You can create randomly generated passwords that are incredibly complex, have those passwords automatically stored within 1Password, and then move on with your life!
With that being said, if you want a company that respects its users, DO NOT choose 1Password as your password keeper. There are a number of better options out there from Enpass to BitWarden to Minimalist.

What do you dislike about the product?
Administrative management is weak.
I know it's tricky while keeping things secure, but it can still be improved.
Some organizations require management that is not possible with 1Password.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you want the power in the users hands this is wonderful.
If the technology department maintains credentials, this is a little less than perfect to implement and use.

Great Overall Product
What do you like best about the product?
How flexible it is, how easily I can create unique passwords, store addresses, credit cards, etc. I bought a family account because of how great the product was to make sure my family would also be protected
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a bit annoying how often I have to sign in with my password for the chrome extension. If there was a way to allow access through an authenticator instead, that might be less obnoxious than constantly typing it in.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving just fundamental password inefficiencies and duplications across all platforms. Being able to quickly generate complex passwords not only gives me better peace of mind but also is quicker and easier than I could ever do on my own.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do the family account, cheap and easy gift especially for the holiday
Very cool password manager, you need it if you not using it yet.
What do you like best about the product?
Is is convenient, allows to quick access any passowrd. Plus you always not forget your password....Also you can storay anything in 1Password — docs, files private notes etc.

What do you dislike about the product?
Well, the verion 8 is build in Electron, which is well known as flow web framework. So...expecting for 1Password 8 to be slower than 1Password 8. Although let's see how it goes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Well, the main thing that previously I've alwys set all the password the same :D because it is impossible (?) to remember everything...excpet you are a very special in some way...of course....
great app
What do you like best about the product?
using the chrome plug-in makes it easy to auto-populate and work across different devices. I use it primarily for work with Salesforce. It can also work with one-time verification codes for Salesforce MFA.
What do you dislike about the product?
sometimes the add-in hangs when chrome needs a restart
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
in the SaaS consulting managing logins is always a pain. Keeping things secure and up to date is critical. The bonus family account is very helpful to manage all the logins in our family as well.
Solid, Versatile Product, Great Developer Community
What do you like best about the product?
Every device and platform I own can run 1Password, and the UX is consistent. The difference between the Windows and MacOS interface is hard to distinguish with v8. Moving to a common development framework I think will pay strong dividends for them. The developer community behind 1Password is top-notch and incredibly engaging.
What do you dislike about the product?
Having to use a password manager, honestly. That obviously isn't their fault. Getting rid of passwords in this decade should be every vendor's primary mission. 1Password does a good job at reducing the complexity of it but I will live for the day when I can retire my use of it.
I get why they did it, but I don't like having my 2FA seeds in my password manager. It is arguably irrational, but I want them separate for some reason. I don't use that feature for that reason.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing passwords, obviously :)
Kidding aside, I take comfort in knowing all of my passwords are unique and protected behind high-grade encryption. Keeping a close relationship with the development team helps me tackle integration challenges.
