Perfect! A great bit of software that really does take the hassle out of password management.

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use and ease of management are fantastic. The browser extensions are great but the addition of the standalone app is a must and extremely handy when it comes to organising and re-organising passwords and Vaults. The fact that each user also has a private vault is superb and a great addition to an already awesome bit of software.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't anything I dislike, it's a great bit of software that's addressed several issues for our company professionally, and has also helped personally when generating passwords.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The internal sharing of passwords between teams and co-workers has previously always been problematic. The ability to have password grouping and access segregation has really helped our workflow.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
After trying several others, 1Password really does put others to shame. Definitely make use of the onboarding as it really is useful (Stephanie is awesome) and it highlighted a few features and ways of working that weren't obvious. Try it first.....you'll love it. Try it last.....and you'll wish you'd tried it first. Tech should make your life easier, and this does.....Just try it.

Makes good password hygiene easy

  • April 16, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
1password integrates well with both Windows and Mac operating systems and has extensions/integrations for most browsers. As a result, once you have 1password set up and know how to use it, it's really easy to practice good password hygiene (using strong passwords, rotating passwords, enabling app-based 2FA everywhere it's supported). As the manager of IT at our company, that gives me the ability to easily train our team on proper password hygiene and then expect them to follow-through with best practices because once you master 1password, best practices are easy to follow.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be complex to wrap your head around logins, vaults, groups, users, etc. It's not 100% intuitive and if you are managing 1password for an organization of non-trivial size it's pretty easy to wind up with massive vault/login-sprawl, so understanding and managing 1password usage across the organization is not easy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using 1password makes it easy to follow password best practices and that allows us to train employees on proper password practices and then expect them to follow-through and enforce consequences if they fail to follow through. In short, 1password gives us the tools to be opinionated and demanding about proper password security without imposing a significant burden on anyone.

1password is the only business capable password manager as far as we're concerned.

What do you like best about the product?
1password is simple and easy to use. This means that everyone from the tech nerds to boomers can utilize it without a bunch of handholding. I also love that 1password has more ways to store data than just passwords. We keep important documents like IDs and flight info in 1password for secure, encrypted travel info. I've never had to fight for 1password as a part of our security budget since we first signed up over three years ago. Everyone at the company is very appreciative of it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that 1password would recognize that you're trying to login to a site and only open it's popup when you've successfully authenticated instead of every time you submit. This can be very annoying when a field has gotten out of control or on a site that you're not trying to store the password. I'd recommend that 1password develop a way to integrate with Apple's iOS password manager more deeply as I've heard some annoyance, particulary on apps that don't catch the 1password install.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're making sure that every employee is following our company-mandated password programs and helping everyone develop better habits about password policies in general. It's a perfect mix of ease of use and a+ security. We've seen a significant behavior change in our employees from initial skepticism and annoyance to near universal acceptance.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There isn't another password manager as far as Bionic is concerned.

Easy to use, great support

What do you like best about the product?
Onboarding was effortless. It's also easy getting in touch with support when you have a question/issues (which is something I didn't have with alternatives)
What do you dislike about the product?
Not that much... The only thing that could be better was being able to pre set-up all our company accounts instead of having to assign roles individually every time someone creates an account.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having the ability to share passwords across the team securely makes it considerably easier to work.

1Password Does Everything my Company Needs

  • April 09, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I specifically use it for Team passwords for IT, Finance, HR, Legal, and Engineering. This way, teams can share not only usernames & passwords, but MFA/2FA/one-time password generator.
Also, 1Password is integrated with the Have I Been Pwned (HIBP) dataset.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish some of the advanced features (SSO integration, MFA management, etc) were available at the Team pricing level.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing passwords between team members. Especially MFA.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The product is amazing. I've been using it for 10 years.

User-friendly security for individuals and teams

  • April 06, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The user experience is simple and intuitive. But beneath the surface lies many powerful, well-designed features: browser integrations, shared vaults, guest users, 2FA scanning, team access control, mobile apps, touch ID support, breach notifications, file attachments. I also appreciate the support for scripting via the 1Password CLI. We use this to audit our vault access.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the CLI had access to more data. Routine tasks can become slow when you need to repeat them over 100+ vaults, and the CLI can speed this up. Being able to archive and schedule a vault for deletion would help with our access control policies. Having greater reporting tools would allow us to better find defunct vaults and login items. Being able to store larger files would be nice, too, but perhaps outside the bounds of 1Password's primary purpose.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're ensuring that we create secure, unique passwords for every account we create. This reduces the risk of account exposure and helps us maintain best practices for access control. We meet our contractual obligations with our clients and we rest easier at night.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Consider how you will support 1Password internally. How you will separate vaults, who you will give vault-creation access to, how you will audit the vaults, and how you will handle requests to be added to vaults.

A great way to manage your passwords

  • March 31, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
An opinion, 1Password is the strongest security feature on the market. it is easy to use, moderately priced, and has numerous features, all while offering a high level of protection Furthermore, this software is designed for small companies and large corporations. It is secure because it registers every website I visit, allowing me to be logged in and safeguarding my passwords. I like 1Password on my Android computer, and it functions flawlessly.
What do you dislike about the product?
You may find the gui a little difficult to understand at first. Even so, you will finally get used to using it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It just became a lot easier to handle the proxy server! We no longer have to constantly give our accountant the log-in password. This offers a wide variety of password strengths, making it much harder to crack although with delegate exposure
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Keep track of who has access to what, and store them in the vault (rather than copying them to the vault). Anticipate your plans and you will be more competitive.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Secure delegated access to secrets. Onboarding users. Having unique passwords for all services. Being able to share sensitive accounts with OTP. Being able to protect customer data

Great application to enhance your security

  • March 26, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to generate a complex password and then store the login. This process is very easy and intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Anytime I shut down the browser but haven't locked my computer I have to log back into my 1Password account in Chrome. I understand it's more secure but gets frustrating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As an organization I feel better that employees are generating secure passwords and not having to write them down to keep track. With 1Password they are stored securely and all they have to remember is their master password.
