Consistently reliable tool

  • December 11, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Easy deployment and maintenance. Time after time. The tool "just works" pretty much out of the box and whenever support is needed, we're always given quality help and delivered very quick.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing I'd use the term 'dislike' for this tool. Reporting is an area we'd like to see more growth in if I'd have to pick.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy tool to onboard users and empower them adopt usage in their working day.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Administration side of the tool is fantastic and easy to use for our IT team. Users will easily adopt using 1Password in their day to day if you include it as part of your onboarding! Its a big win, trust me.

Real Secure dint know why I dint use it earlier

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of having my passwords centralized
What do you dislike about the product?
I have to login to find a password everytime.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to keep my passwords unique and secure and not having to remember them all the time. I don't have to keep track of what passwords I used where and it remembers what I used where. 1password gives me the peace of mind that I'm not using the same password everywhere that could jeopardize all my accounts.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It will help you keep everything secure and centralized, you'd be able to pass compliance checks and make sure everyone is using a password that is secure and keeps company/business assets and trade secrets from being corrupted. Personally using it can make sure you're not falling into the trap of using common passwords that are easy to crack using bots referencing your personal information. This way you worry about one password which is your "master password" and let 1password generate new passwords for you that are secure and keep your information safe. It can store a variety of information like logins/credit cards/credentials and is flexible enough to have customs stuff.

Effective tool to manage passwords across various deployments and improved security

  • December 10, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Gives me and our team peace of mind that we have secured our passwords across all deployments on the front and back end.

It is also an effective way for team members to share passwords with each other without sharing them in an unsecured environment like Slack or Email.

It's also well thought out functionality in how they developed ease of adding/using MFA from within the accounts login page. Allowing you to input it via a few clicks instead of having to boot up your authenticator application or text messaging 2FA separately.

For our administrator, the usage reports are very helpful for measuring adoption and following up with staff to ensure that 1Password is effectively being used by all members.

The Watchtower feature is great in notifying if a company email was detected in a breach, even if no one saved their credentials for that website in 1Password. This is helpful as myself and our team use a broad range of highly established and less evolved Saas Applications.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would be a more convenient experience if it integrated with biometric measures like Windows Hello or my phone. Occasionally entries get clunky when it clashes with Chrome's built-in autofill and password features.

Sometimes there are pop-ups for login that won't allow me to autofill.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1Password was initially given to our team to improve our password security but came with a hidden blessing in that it allows me to juggle passwords across various SaaS subscriptions and tools I use on a day to day basis, as well as multiple deployments of our firm's applications.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
While reviewing various tools, it would be helpful to understand the types of devices staff have, as well as strongly recommending training to ensure staff are familiar with the various applications and entry points for 1Password.

Useful, flexible

  • December 10, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
One-time password support along with automatic QR code scanning; this has really helped simplify the number of one-time password applications I have to manage on my phone, especially as I can search and get suggested relevant logins where other one-time passwords applications don't even support searching.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of overlay support on Android, this means I have to flip between the application I'm trying to authenticate with and the 1Password application; this is even more frustrating when I'm using one-time passwords as I have to flip between applications several times just for one login.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One-time password sharing with my colleagues, particularly when developing one-time password support for our apps across various environments.

What do you like best about the product?
Great place to share/include passwords for private and shared accounts
What do you dislike about the product?
Needing any password manager at all (which isn't really a knock on the product)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing passwords for corporate accounts that multiple people access

Best Password Manager I've Used

  • December 10, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's a relatively easy install and setup. The tool is pretty intuitive and is very easy to use with groups. Works very well with Chrome.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some staff are on different versions which can be confusing when discussing training or best practices.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Security amongst team members that may not have thought about password management before. The risks are high when it goes wrong so having a solution to prevent major problems is valuable.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's much better than the free alternatives.

1Password is a top notch security tool

  • December 08, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of storing and autofilling logins via the browser plugin is the best feature. A close second is the ability to store and autofill one-time passwords for multi-factor authentication.
What do you dislike about the product?
When on occasion the browser plugin stops working it can be difficult to get it working again. Luckily this is rare! Also, it's difficult to set up enterprise-grade user management through SAML/SCIM because it requires configuring and running a server.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing passwords among team members and between teams using vaults has solved a lot of secret sharing problems for us. Having an enterprise level system allows us to administer user access and account resets easily.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's one of the best password managers and it keeps getting better. It's also easy to use a personal account and business account side-by-side on the same computer.

1Password makes password management for enterprise a breeze

  • December 08, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the built in tooling around breach notifications, being able to easily adjust password randomization standards, and the easy layout on shared team vaults. Also the ease of adding/using MFA from within the accounts login page makes one click filling of credentials super smooth from the browser extension.
What do you dislike about the product?
The home page of the UI could use a little TLC (which it is receiving) otherwise the product is one of the strongest out there in regards to password management.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ensuring users have the tools for best practices and storing passwords in a safe spot. Without 1password we had used in-house built tooling for credentials that hadn't been adopted by orgs outside of engineering. With 1Password a lot of users have begun adopting use of the platform. With consistent training and reminders we know that accounts are a lot more secure.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Have an instance ready to go before setting up on your org. Have your SCIM bridge instance ready from their documentation for proper group role assignments with your IDP.

What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful thing is that you don't have to keep typing in your passwords for various sites.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't ran into any problems yet so I don't have a dislike yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No problems really just feel more secure having 1Password with all passwords under one place. This would apply to the benefits as well.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is secure and great to have.

What do you like best about the product?
The cloud sync across all users. It is very useful when working remotely
What do you dislike about the product?
For older users it is a little difficult for them with the learning curve. The Chrome plugin sometimes recommends the wrong password.

It solves not having updated passwords across the team.
