    Computer Software

Simply the best password manager out there - business and personnal.

What do you like best about the product?
The free Family Plan for every user within the organization is a must. If people use 1Password at home, they are way more likely to use it at work and ditch post-it notes altogether. 1Password makes it easy for 2FA to be enforced on various websites. The admin panel is simple and intuitive and capable of generating insightful reports about security. The Watchtower feature is really nice to inform you of compromised logins and to quickly react if it happens. The cross-platform applications and browser extension makes it easy to use across all of our devices within the organization.

We used LastPass for a while and it isn't even close to match the reliability of 1Password.
What do you dislike about the product?
What would be nice would be a GSuite automatic provisioning which 1Password doesn't offer yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It facilitate password sharing between teams in a secure way and now more people use 2FA.

What do you like best about the product?
Security features, detailed access control for team members.
What do you dislike about the product?
Interface, sometimes it's confusing how to see all items or just specific vaults.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Secure passwords, administration of passwords, sharing passwords. Managing access of people who join or leave the team. Keeping all passwords and related account info in 1 place.

Reliable password app with incredible support

  • November 13, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like:
- Ease of use whether through the Chrome extension or using the web-based app
- Creation of vaults and the way they can be deployed team wide
- Smartphone capabilities (the app works on your smartphone and provides you with password access as well)
- One of the best support teams in the business
What do you dislike about the product?
When you contact support, although they are super - quick and helpful - there is no history of your last reply to them. It's always a new thread which is odd and makes you dig into older sent emails to remind you of what you asked them. Not a big deal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have 50+ apps we work with team-wide and a team of 40. It helps with security for the most part and providing a centralized spot for passwords.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Think of how you would scale while creating vaults

What do you like best about the product?
Great app UI across devices. It makes it easy to manage unique passwords across all accounts. The built in 2FA, and Credit Card support is a nice bonus.
What do you dislike about the product?
It could use a more streamlined login via the Firefox plugin.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to have secure unique passwords for all my accounts.

One Password Review

What do you like best about the product?
Autofill - makes life SO SIMPLE
Password creation - again making life simple
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes a bit of set up, and sometimes retrieving your master key is hard.
When One Password auto-creates your passwords, it wont be something you'll ever remember making it hard to sign in on a different device.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping all passwords for the tools my department uses in one place

Mostly easy to use, some confusion between app & web

  • November 13, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to find all associated passwords and make instant login that much faster. Acts as an "all-in-one" password solution. Overall I definitely recommend it, especially for cross-functional teams to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Google Chrome extension hasn't seemed to work in awhile in terms of letting you "type" in your master password. To go around this, I type the password elsewhere and copy/paste into the extension. However, this is only in the extension, and not in the website itself.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Instant login to all of the platforms that we use, and obviously much more secure than Google/Apple keychains. Also makes it easier for teams to use together.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I've only used other competitors for personal use (ex. Dashlane) but overall I think that for enterprise, 1Password is the way to go. They have a great Head of B2B Product, as well.

Thoroughly enjoy 1Password

What do you like best about the product?
The convenience and security. Apps work well on all platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally mobile app/web forms will not auto fill. Occasionally the iphone app will require typing the master password rather than accepting a finger print.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Increasing the level of security across out accounts and safely sharing passwords between team members.

Great password manager

  • November 12, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the simplicity of it, but the level of use for business. Dashlane and keeper were both super easy but not really designed for business. Lastpass is designed for business but is too expensive and there is lag between saving passwords and access to passwords sometimes. 1password is just easy to use, quick, and cheap.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am not positive I have any dislikes. The only dislike is that its 1password and not onepassword but that has nothing to do with them. I just always search for onepassword when I start typing.
So far I need to dig in more but there isnt great organization. With all my experience there is some form of folder and maybe there is still and I am just missing it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For my company it replaces a out of date password manager that has been on prem for a long time. This will allow us to have a more secure user friendly password manager.
For me personally I am looking to replace my current password manager, its slow and sometimes lags behind.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
In my mind there is 3 options for password managers. 1 password, bitwarden, and lastpass. There are a ton others, but while reviewing this is my list. All of these password managers are excellent for personal and business. I would say the order listed is how I would rank them. 1password is just a bit better for business.

Indispensable tool throughout every day

  • November 12, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Security design, excellent Mac app, multi-platform, great web app for the family/business cloud offering, 2FA support for 1Password itself as well as for the stored credentials in addition to the (obvious) passwords and user names.
What do you dislike about the product?
In a business setting like our with 50+ 1Password users doing user access recertifications takes time since you have to click through all vaults and user groups instead of having a central overview. The new command line make possible to build a script to retrieve this information, but that's DIY at the moment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
General (team) password manager benefits: safe storage of 10s to 100s of personal credentials and safe sharing between teams or project related work. 1Password stores files for safe sharing of confidential mass-data. Password managers enable having fully randomised, safe password only (!) which I don't want and actually can't remember. On the latter: 1Password additionally offers to create good passwords that are easy to remember in case you have to type them into e.g. devices, where you can't copy/paste (for me that are initial user passwords during laptop setup).

Would be lost without 1password!

What do you like best about the product?
Love the security, and the usability of 1password. It allows us to securely store all sensitive information and is user friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
For our team subscription, when adding a new staff member having to individual click through all vaults to give them access.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storing sensitive information in one place.
