Indispensable Tool for All My Work
What do you like best about the product?
1Password syncs with all my browsers and devices so no matter where I am I have my securely stored passwords.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not easy to merge "vaults" if you have stored some passwords on a device's local vault..
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Working on custom software for dozens of clients and many different online tools it is impossible to consistently use varying, secure passwords without some way to keep track of them securely.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
1Password is easy to use, syncs across devices and platforms, gives me tools to generate strong passwords, and works with all modern browsers.
1Password - Opinion
What do you like best about the product?
1Password is my favorite password manager that I use every day. The main advantage of 1Password is the fact that our passwords are stored in the cloud so that we can access them on any device without having to move the password file. Another advantage that caught my attention is the fact that 1Password is available on many platforms including mobile devices. It is worth mentioning that passwords generated with 1passowrd are very secure so that no one will gain unauthorized access to important platforms for us. 1Password interface is very clear and easy to use, so I am convinced that even new users will be able to use it.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the disadvantages that I noticed is the price, which can be too high for some people besides, I did not balance a significant disadvantage when using 1Password.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By using 1Password, I can use the Internet without worrying about unauthorized access to services that are important to us.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you want to improve your security while using the network you should consider trying 1Password now, the more so that a free 14-day plan is available.
Using 1Password
What do you like best about the product?
1password is great for sharing passwords amongst team members and keeping your passwords organized.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user interface can be a little clunky. Even though I understand the importance of signing out of 1password periodically I find it annoying that I have to log in so frequently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
keeping logins secure and sharing logins amongst team members.
Great for not remembering any password ever
What do you like best about the product?
I like the integration with web browsers and automatic filling needed text boxes. With these options, you don't need to think about logging on any website or app.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have liked that one-time payment option, and now it is subscription based. I got used to it in the end; it gives the value for the money.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main business solving for was sharing some credentials with colleagues or family members through some shared vaults.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is a great solution for having all credentials in one place, making it a single point of trust. It's easy to manage all users and to share between them.
The Best set and forget Password Manager Available
What do you like best about the product?
1Pass does a great job as a set and forget system. Great integration with many browsers with extensions. East to do key combination to pull up passwords on any page. Perfect for a large team to manage many passwords for clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
Better stability with Chrome extensions. Sometimes the extension will not pull up with Keyboard Combination.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a IT service we can save clients passwords for when the user forgets. Easily get in and out of client portals to properly assist them. Easily create long strong passwords for exposed portals.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Worth making the jump to this product. Easy to use and set up. Easy to manage. Worth the cost.
Best Cross Utilized Password Service
What do you like best about the product?
Contracting for multiple companies where I require a multitude of access, this has been the most utilized one with all clients. The fact that I can easily be added to another company's account to gain the access I need, while maintain our company internal information and specific personal passwords I want to store, makes this the best service I've used yet. It so easily integrates with any browser I've tried but also has allowed me to setup protocals in the event of disaster recovery.
What do you dislike about the product?
Also, while I appreciate it from a security standpoint, having to log back in after being inactive for a few minutes can be a pain when I'm rushing through various servers and sites I need to access. The only other drawback right now is server side authentications through htaccess, which generates a popup box on top of the browser, which 1Password doesn't recognize so will not allow you to fill in.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I get access quickly to client accounts I need but I can also share internal login and passwords to my team instantly and more securely than email or by messenger. Also, since I utilize a desktop, a laptop, tablet, and my phone in my day to day work life, it's made it easier to make sure I have access on demand when I need it no matter which device I'm on.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take a look at what you are really going to use it for. Like any product there are some drawbacks, but if you measure the pros and cons I think you'll find this is one of the better solutions, especially for multiple devices and is great for any size teams.
Amazing Password Management Tool
What do you like best about the product?
1Password is a breeze to use. The Chrome browser extension is super convenient, and the Mac app is a great backup. Honestly, though, I use the Chrome extension pretty exclusively. I have begun rolling out 1Password to my team, and we plan to roll it out across our entire company over the coming months.
What do you dislike about the product?
On occasion, first-time logins don't save, so I typically always copy/paste the password I created into a document or new browser tab — just to be sure. Also, for my personal passwords, it's a bit of a pain to have to manually type passwords for my subscription services (Hulu, Netflix, etc.) into my TV. First world problem, I know haha
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1Password gives me piece of mind knowing that my personal passwords, as well as the passwords I create and use professionally — both on behalf of my company, as well as our clients — are extremely secure. Being able to manage my team in 1Password also makes the process a lot simpler (and more sane) when we have to let an employee go, or when an employee transitions to a new job. There's no more "change all the passwords!!!" fire drills. We simply remove the employee(s) from 1Password and call it a day.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I haven't used any other password management tools, but I think that's due to the fact that 1Password is the first one I tried. It has been so easy to use. I just didn't have a reason to try anything else!
Value of Team Collaboration for Password Management
What do you like best about the product?
- Sharing and collaboration are key advantages to their solution while security is still a top priority. Any folder can be easily shared or unshared. Folders can be shared with team members and even a guest.
- Flexibility in managing access to vaults. I can create vaults that are by default accessible by other administrators. Thus, I can give my twin brother (an administrator) immediate access when creating the vault. It is just as easy to uncheck the box to give other administrators access which turns the vault into a private one that I only have access to.
- Managing user access for team members is easy and intuitive. Once the vault is created, you can click on the settings for the vault from the main dashboard and add team members to have access. Once access is granted to a vault, the team member gets immediate access. Team members don’t need to wait around for changes to propagate to their user’s access.
- Editing and using login credential from the website is really easy. I enjoy how you can copy the pass with it being kept secret. Only when necessary, you can easily click a button to reveal the password. This makes it easier to collaborate with team members present while not compromising security.

What do you dislike about the product?
- If you have a guest user, they can only have access to one vault. It doesn’t say this in the interface, but after a few times of trying to give a guest user access to a second vault and 1pass changing the access to the new vault only and removing access from the old one, I am pretty confident this is the intended functionality that isn’t apparent within their UI.
- Unable to move an item from one vault to another. Instead, if you want to item an item from one vault to another, you need to create a new duplicate item in the new vault and then delete the old one.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My twin brother and I are entrepreneurs and have a venture studio. We partner with startup companies and help them build their businesses. Accordingly, we needed a solution where sharing of login credentials and secret notes worked smoothly with robust flexibility for managing user access. After using competing solutions, we realized team collaboration was not a core value of the other solutions. Fortunately, we discovered 1password and all of our desires have been fulfilled.
While my brother and I both our own private login credentials for various services, a vast majority of logins credentials are shared. We soon realized that sharing login credentials with our team members was a fundamental way we operated. 1password provides the best and most secure solution for sharing passwords with team members.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
While the annual pricing model is annoying, sharing is built into the core of their solution and worth the annual subscription.
This used to be great.,
What do you like best about the product?
Prior to 1password 7, I would've recommended this to EVERYONE. It's super easy to use if you are on iOS and use dropbox to sync. I paid for a lifetime license.
What do you dislike about the product?
With 1password 7 your lifetime membership is no longer valid. It's only good through 1password 6. Now you have to pay to have access to something you already paid to have for "lifetime." Support is also really, really, really slow. It's only through email and responses typically take 3-5 business days.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Access to an easy to use password vault on all devices.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Beware, lifetime license may not be lifetime. Mine no longer is. Support is also very slow and through email only.
Forget About Remembering Passwords
What do you like best about the product?
1Password makes it super easy to keep track of your personal passwords for all the websites you use or even those passwords that are shared by an entire company. Their safe and secure system ensures passwords can be shared with a group without compromising your privacy.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you want to log in to 1Password from a computer other than the one where you established your account, this can get tricky if you're not prepared. It's part of its safety functions, so be sure you have your emergency login info saved on a USB or on another computer to make this easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping track of passwords is much easier and keeping this sensitive information safe makes it an even better product.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The most important recommendation would be to keep the emergency login information safe and on a USB or some other type of device just in case you need to log in to your account from a computer that isn't your primary one. Another recommendation is to download the 1Password Chrome extension to make logging in to commonly used accounts even easier.
