Helpful Keyword Optimization and Support, but a Steep Learning Curve
What do you like best about the product?
The writing assistant is really helpful for making sure we’re optimizing our content around the right keywords. Also, the team at Conductor is incredibly supportive through onboarding & continuing education as the platform evolves.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not an intuitive platform, so the learning curve is quite steep.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SEO & GEO are big focus areas for our business currently, so Conductor has been a super helpful tool in analyzing our performance against our competitors. It gives us the information we need to build a strategy to improve our website & the content we're publishing.
Easy-to-Use Writing Assistant, but Competitor Research Can Be Hard
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the writing assistant feature. It’s straightforward and easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
When it comes to reviewing competitors, finding information can be difficult.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For me, it’s helping me start content and speeds up the writing process
Exceptional Support, Training, and AI-Powered SEO Insights in Conductor
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite part of Conductor is the level of support and onboarding you receive. There are tons of courses and trainings that teach you how to navigate the UX, leverage each report or feature, and even learn tactics and best practices for SEO, optimizing for AI, and more. Other things I like are:
• The price is nice - a powerful platform that's cheaper than SEMrush
• Conductor has invested a lot in AI intelligence and AI features. I think they were a bit rough when they first launched, but they didn't just add them and rest on their laurels (the improvements to Writing Assistant are particularly nice - they have helped me and my team quickly align pieces of content with AI crawler needs). Performance, functionality and insights all continue to improve.
• Integrating with GSE and GA lets you tie everything into one place.
• The price is nice - a powerful platform that's cheaper than SEMrush

What do you dislike about the product?
I think you would run into this with any similar tool, but It's easy to get overwhelmed at first. Navigation-wise there is a learning curve (for me anyway). You really need to take the time to go through the onboarding/training to learn where everything lives. However, there are tons of tooltips throughout, so once you find the area you need, it's easy to find guidance on how to proceed or segment the data you want.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Conductor has helped my agency track and report keyword rankings for clients, identify SEO opportunities, train team members on SEO and GEO fundamentals, and improve writing for the web.
Valuable SEO Insights and a Responsive Customer Success Team
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the external SEO insights they provide in the writing assistant. This helps us ensure we're shaping our content to fit with recent search behaviors. Their customer success team is also very receptive to feedback and are always looking to refine their program where they can based on suggestions and wish list items.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do with their AI writing assistant was more of an LLM and operated in a closer way to programs like ChatGPT or CoPilot. I find it difficult to use to create content because while it lets you upload brand documents, it doesn't let you provide initial instructions before it sets up a draft.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Their SEO research in writing assistant has helped us ensure we're creating relevant content that hits on major talking points across respective topics.
Super Helpful AI Search Reports and Responsive Support
What do you like best about the product?
The AI search reports have been super helpful for our website. There's also always a rep that we can talk to when we have questions about the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the keyword research and reporting isn't as good as some of the other big platforms

What do you like best about the product?
Great insights. Support team helped my team go faster in extracting insights.
What do you dislike about the product?
UI still needs work. Prefer to export data and analyze.

Providing insights into competitor performance. Helps guide internal improvement decisions.
Robust SEO Features with Excellent Support
What do you like best about the product?
I really like how robust Conductor is. You can do so much with it, and I'm constantly learning about new features. The platform offers different features such as explore, creator, intelligence, and now insights in AI search, making it really worth it. It's fantastic to see so much about our website on a single platform, making things a lot easier for me. I think the Conductor support teams have been instrumental in helping me learn about all these great features. When I'm not sure how to do something, the support team is available to help me figure it out easily. I just appreciate the support and am looking forward to getting assistance soon from the Professional Services team, as I know we'll benefit even more with their help. The initial setup was very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that the learning platform was a little better - sometimes when I go in there the videos don't match up with what the platform currently looks like which can be frustrating. I think just updating the videos on learning to use the platform so they match up with updates that have been made to the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Conductor helps us track keyword performance and improve search results. It analyzes competitors and enhances content strategy, streamlining insight and making site analysis easier for me.
Fast Access to Insights with a Best-in-Class Writing Assistant
What do you like best about the product?
I find it great that I can log in quickly and immediately find the insights I need to monitor performance. In addition, the writing assistant is one of the best on the market.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times, it feels quite slow when I’m trying to use it, which can make it frustrating to operate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Content Gaps is one of the biggest features for me. Also, as part of a huge multi-brand, multi-website retail group, I really like that our family of users can use it for work in a way that feels tailored to them.
Intuitive SEO Platform with Room for Customization
What do you like best about the product?
I really like how the UI is easy to use and very logical, making it simple to find different tools and reports based on how my business approaches reporting and tasks. I also appreciate the recommendations that aren't just based on target keywords but allow for layering on business context. The added business context is incredibly useful as it enables me to monitor not just my website, but other owned web properties including social platforms. It's great that I don't have to set up separate tracking campaigns per domain, which helps me stitch my brand's presence and performance together in a single view.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's very hard to figure out where to create custom charts. For instance, if I wanted to see a trended week over week report of page 1 KW ranks vs 2-3 specific competitors, that type of customization is not intuitive, we have to ask our Rep to build something for us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Conductor helps with highly segmented performance monitoring across businesses. The UI is logical, making tool access easy, and adds business context for tracking owned properties and social platforms, unlike other platforms requiring separate setups.
All-in-One, Continuously Improving
What do you like best about the product?
Many functions in the same place, it's continuously updated with new functions that improve our workflow

It could have a more simple and clean interface, and the AI in the creator is so so
