Effortless SOC 2 Compliance with Scytale
What do you like best about the product?
I love the ease of use of Scytale, having the platform and everything in one place just makes things so seamless. The auto evidence collection feature is really helpful as it directly pulls information from our AWS account, saving us the hassle of manually tracking spreadsheets or compliance items. Nicole, our consultant, was amazing; she made the process so easy and we're incredibly grateful for her help. The setup was very easy too, with scheduled meetings to get us started and continuous support from Nicole. Scytale worked really well with AWS, and it got us ready really fast without any worry.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can't think of anything.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scytale made SOC 2 readiness easy with a platform and great consultants. We didn’t worry about compliance, thanks to auto evidence collection from AWS. Everything's in one place—no spreadsheets to track.
Supportive, Professional ISO Guidance—Oliver Made It Easy
What do you like best about the product?
Supportive, communicative and nothing was ever too hard. Oliver was such an easy, professional and patient person to guide us through ISO.
What do you dislike about the product?
Time zones were occasionally a challenge but luckily Oliver was very accommodating and sometimes this just can't be avoided!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Supporting us through a very complicated and thorough ISO process. Not sure we could've done it without Oliver's help.
Streamlines Compliance, Stellar Support
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Scytale is easy to use, which makes managing compliance and certification processes more straightforward. I also appreciate that the support is great, providing help when needed. Additionally, the checklists are well done, which is valuable in navigating the complex certification processes. The initial setup was fairly straightforward, thanks to the onboarding, which helped get everything up and running smoothly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The relationship with the auditor, communication can be slow. In our recent ISO 27001, we had a lot of trouble getting responses from the auditor.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Scytale for compliance and certification. It helps with the complexity and obscurity of certification processes.
ISO 27001 made manageable for a first-time startup team - strong guidance and smooth audit outcome.
What do you like best about the product?
Scytale gave us a clear, structured path to ISO 27001 and removed a lot of uncertainty for a team doing this for the first time. The platform helped us organize evidence and stay on top of what mattered. Most importantly, the support we received was excellent - Ashna Jeeva in particular was outstanding: responsive, pragmatic, and really good at translating requirements into concrete next steps. What do you dislike about the product?
Like any compliance platform, there’s still a learning curve at the start, especially if you’re new to ISO 27001. A bit more onboarding guidance for first-time teams (e.g., “what good looks like” examples in a few areas) would make the ramp-up even faster.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were a startup without an internal compliance function and needed to achieve ISO 27001. Scytale gave us clarity and momentum, saved a significant amount of time, and helped us pass the audit with 0 non-conformities. It turned a big, ambiguous project into an achievable set of steps.
Helpful ISO27001 Guidance and a User-Friendly, Organized Platform
What do you like best about the product?
Ashna Jeeva was very helpful throughout our ISO27001 process. She is very knowledgeable and has a great way of breaking down seemingly complex tasks into easy-to-understand subtasks. Scytale itself works well for keeping track of changes and keeping everything organized. Overall, the platform is user-friendly and straightforward to work with.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don’t really have much to add. The platform and the customer support both met my expectations, and in some ways even exceeded them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us organize our certification progress and maintain our ISO27001 compliance.

The Scytale team really nailed the SOC 2 process. It’s been a pleasure working with them, especially Ashliegh Du Preez.

I can’t think of anything bad so I would leave empty

Compliance with Minimal Hassle
What do you like best about the product?
They deliver exactly what they promise: Compliance with minimal hassle. Also their integrations make everyone's work easier and their support team does a superb job!
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI could be more user-friendly, but it’s something you can learn and use effectively.

We use it for Security Compliance and Audit Management.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that the platform works smoothly and the collaboration with a dedicated consultant is now working efficiently. Scytale saves a lot of time by having an external consultant help with compliance.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform has some bugs, but nothing major. The instructions could be even more simple. They were a bit hard to understand as a non-compliance expert and I needed to ask for help from our consultant to explain those in a simpler way.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scytale makes the compliance process for ISO 27001 less time-consuming and admin-heavy. It works smoothly and allows efficient collaboration with a dedicated consultant, saving a lot of time.
Streamlined SOC 2 Compliance with Room for Improved Integration
What do you like best about the product?
I like the division of proofs into clearly labeled tasks in Scytale, which helps in managing SOC 2 requirements better. It allows us to break down tasks and allocate them to our team easily. I also appreciate being able to reference proofs from previous audits by task, which is especially helpful when there's uncertainty about what proof is needed, and when different people are filling out proofs over the years.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that I can only interface with it via the web platform. I use Slack, and I would like to get updates there when a task is assigned to me or a reviewer left a comment on proof I submitted.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Scytale for our SOC 2 compliance. It helps manage required proofs and ensures submissions are sufficient. Scytale's task division and ability to reference past audits streamline the process, which is particularly useful for team collaboration.

What do you like best about the product?
I liked using Scytale platform. It helped me advance our security processes with an easy to use interface. It helped me a lot to have a dedicated advisor to take me through the processes step by step and helped resolve issues on our way to become compliant.
