We first connected with Scytale based on a colleague’s recommendation, and it has truly transformed our ISO compliance journey.

Our recent transition from ISO 27001:2013 to ISO 27001:2022 was no small task. As a company with limited internal resources dedicated to privacy and security, this upgrade posed significant challenges. Scytale provided exactly the support we needed to navigate the process efficiently and effectively.

The platform’s structured framework was invaluable, giving us a clear way to manage and document the necessary information for each requirement. This ensured we didn’t miss a single detail. The platform and service are relatively new, and we discussed a few areas for potential improvement. By the time we completed our project, some of these suggestions had already been implemented. Overall, there’s very little to critique—they have an excellent product.

We are getting started on our SOC2 and ISO compliance journey and Scytale has made this process easier than what we had first aniticipated.

The Scytale app has proven to be super helpful at automating the compliance process for us. Easy to see tasks and mappings across the multiple frameworks and the integrations with our cloud services was easy to get in place.

Great collection of Policies that we have been able to rapidly get in place with the team.

Support from the Scytale team has been great and the team is quick to answer questions when they come up.

The Embedded Auditor support streamlines the integration wtih the Auditor making that process less painful.

Looking forward to getting our compliance for our SOC2 and ISO in place and I expect that keeping our business compliant will be easy using Scytale.

Automated collection of evidence, built-in security awareness training and policy signing, integrations with commonly used 3rd party systems

What do you dislike about the product?

Integrations cannot be edited and you need to delete and re-create them again. Integrations take too much time to populate with data (up to 12 hours)

ISO27001 certification, compliance monitoring, work management in the Compliance department

What do you like best about the product?

The ease of use and overall user experience is great as it is a fully streamlined approach. It allows cross referenceing of different policies and frameworks, allows for users to undergo training as needed and the implementation itself can't really get any easier.
At this point, we have the platform in daily use and enabled all our policies to be based there, essentially as a source of truth.
Some of the most important things for us were easy access and documentation, also for the auditors as well as change log.

What do you dislike about the product?

There are features that could be added around notifications perhaps and easier export as needed, or link based sharing.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

It is solving our compliance and audit challenges.

What do you like best about the product?

1. The dedication of the team. There were quite a few issues on the way, and the team helped to resolve them very proffesionally and very fast.
2. Scytale is a great way to manage the compliance. The UI is clear once you get used to it and you see immediately what is missing.

Scytale is not without its deficiencies, but despite that it's a system that solves a real pain and is convenient to use.

What do you dislike about the product?

1. There are bugs and inconsistencies, for example defining the list of policies that need to be signed by an employee.
2. There are quite a few missing features: for example, the ability to add private policies, some integrations, many others that I have given a feedback for.
3. The amount of manual work. For example, needed to imput the same AWS role for all AWS integrations. There should have been a single AWS integration with automated access to all required services.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Scytale is automating our compliance with standards and laws.

What do you like best about the product?

We have been using the system for Soc2 & ISO certifications, and it's been helpful in maintaining updated information through integrations, easy to duplicate evidence when applicable and of course - the support we get from the CS team. Both Oron and Tom availability is high, they know their way around the system and were super helpful during audits.

What do you dislike about the product?

The system has some gaps around risk & policies management.
Also, it'll be great to be able to see the roadmap and share direct feedback to the product team.

It's making it easier to maintain evidence, stay on top of required ongoing efforts

All their features are really something to rave about - from risk management, automated evidence collection, user access reviews to a full policy center, they really are your one solution for all your compliance management.

Looking forward to more and more integrations.
