Helping Startups Achieve SOC2 Type II Compliance
What do you like best about the product?
We achieved SOC2 Type II compliance in record time thanks to Scytale and their amazing team. As a younger company with limited resources, their various integrations and automations with our internal tools truly saved us countless hours of evidence gathering.
The Scytale team is also very open to feedback and have quickly implemented changes and fixes to the app when needed.

What do you dislike about the product?
The most annoying part of the SOC2 audit process is the uploading of evidence. Due to it's nature, it's very often unclear what type of evidence should be uploaded and what would be considered sufficient or not. This is an area where Scytale would have an opportunity to really help improve the user experience by providing examples of evidence for various controls, and/or more tooling focused on the evidence gathering process (screenshots with timestamps, etc.).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps prepare for SOC2 compliance, specifically by offering a standardized view of all requirements and even automating part of the evidence gathering and audit processes.

What do you like best about the product?
The thing about scytale that I like the most is that from audit-readiness to certification and everything in between, it is a one stop solution. It effectively supports and executes job functions within an organization. Scytale's integration of automation and compliance expertise has been instrumental in fast-tracking compliance journeys. It is the smoothest blend of technology and advisory.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing specific to mention here except the fact that once I found the website was lagging a little.

Working with Wesley has been super easy, always pointing us in the right direction and making evidence collection straightforward.

The team is actively developing integrations, and they will not have all evidence collection automated.

What do you like best about the product?
Love the step by step approach and layout that Scytale uses to help clients get across the finish line. Especially when you haven't done anything like this before. Wesley was amazing to work with. He communicated well and was extremely organized. Having templates available to give us guidance was absolutely wonderful.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that was frustrating is that some of your inputs expire. I know this is not Scytales fault as it's a requirement of the audit. My suggestion is to make sure that clients understand the time restraints upfront. Double-down on this communication and push each member to pull their weight.

There was a time I couldnt check the user acsses accourding to categorize but its OK now after the new version

Alongside all of the other things that I have to do and accomplish as a co-founder, natively I am also the security officer for my startup.
As my startup is all around organizational data and internal systems, I knew from day 1 that we will have to achieve SOC2 Type2 as soon as possible.
Given my past experience with SOC2 and other cyber certifications, it was a no-brainer to find a solution that automates most of the process and reduces the effort I'll have to make to align with all of the requirements.
I met with the Scytale team and saw the platform and immediately knew it was it.
Simply connecting to all of the organizational systems and automating the process of evidence collection.

Scytale saved us a great deal of time and effort on Soc II
What do you like best about the product?
They provide excellent support and bring a great deal of knowledge and experience of the process to the table. In addition, they provide all the services needed to start auditing, and their platform is extremely user-friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes some time to learn the language and policies needed, so it is a good thing you receive support, but more hints and education materials would be beneficial.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Facing compliant needs is tricky and there a lot of ground to cover. from pentesting, controls, formal documntation and monitoring all those over time. Scytale makes it easy to start the process and provides a monitoring layer to alert you if there are any violations.

What do you like best about the product?
The consultant who was with us named Ronan was simply amazing, I also want to give a good mention to Adar, both of them were available for any questions.
The system is very convenient and intuitive, highly recommend it.

What do you dislike about the product?
The penetration test process was less good, it felt like they were less in sync but once we talked to Adar and Ronan everything worked much faster. Not sure that in the future we will take this service.
