Helpful human-directed push towards SOC2 certification in an organized method
What do you like best about the product?
As a CTO, I really appreciate what Scytale brings to the table for compliance. Having that automated tooling to streamline major frameworks like SOC2 and ISO is huge - it took a monumental burden off our team's shoulders. But what really sets them apart - based on my experience - is the personalized guidance from their experts. Their customer success manager for us was great, and really helped us with progressing towards certification and organizing our work.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing isn't exactly cheap, but it is a pretty good product. Their website can have technical issues making it difficult to work with at times. Navigation in it is not always easy. In general, their UI could be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed to be SOC2 and/or ISO certified, or at least head in that direction - and Scytale helped organize our effort, gave us standardized terms/legalese for various uses, had integration with our cloud etc. And the human help was great.
PCI made reachable for anyone
What do you like best about the product?
They have taken PCI, that is very hard to understand for newcomers, and made it not only more easy to understand but also managable. Ontop of this, they are super helpful and reasonable priced. Highly recommend them.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing real to point out, could something more be automated or more integrations, of course, but I am sure that is coming in the future.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making PCI compliance into something for all, and not just for the hardcore industry with millions in the bank.
Good helpful service, easy to use platform
What do you like best about the product?
Scytale have helped walk us through a complicated process that we knew little about at the start. The platform made it simple for us to complete the necessary tasks for our pci complience and if we had any questions/issues they were answered/resolved promptly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to say here, everything has been top notch so far.

They helped break down the necessary steps and provide the tools and support we needed to complete our complience procedure

Even though we are not software engineer, they made the process of SOC 2 accessible for us and worked well with our developpers (outsources)

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They run the SOC 2 compliance as per our client requests and validation, working with our (outsourced) developpers to fix whatever was needed.
Get certified iso 27001 the efficient way
What do you like best about the product?
Team is really commited.
The help of the consultant is really precious during the iso journey.
The support is quick and efficient.
Every integration is delivered with a separate and complete documentation. This allows quick and efficient installation on customer's side.
When we encountered technical issue on integration, it was solved quickly.
Task list is clear and efficient. We know at a glance what we have to do.
The product is complete.
Risk module is good and is included by default. No need to purshache extra things to get it. This is a must for a risk approach like iso 27001 and it is quite strange that some competitors sell this appart.
The product is easy to use, the interface is clear and not bloated. The global platform is responsive.

Ergonomy could be improved, Not a blocker, of course, and it will improve over time. Few examples:
- the upload of evidence.
- lack of more clickable words in the dashboard for a more convenient walk into the platform.
Better cloud integration, for example improving the automatic collection of evidence for Azure firewall.
No on premise integration (Jenkins, Bitbucket, etc).
Template content for the policies are really helpful to start with but could be simplified a lot. There is too much unnecessary or complex sentences.
Not a Scytale specific point, but it is difficult to get project management figures from iso dashboard. The % go very quickly from 10% to 97%. Maybe a new feature to think about to get better or dedicated project management dashboard?

What do you like best about the product?

I noticed that certain integrations I was looking for were not available, but still, it's impressive to see the wide range of integrations they already support.

Simplify the compliance process for ISO 27001

What do you like best about the product?
It saves a lot of time by both providing a complete framework for the most common certifications and automating the check of many audits. The interface is very user friendly, fast to learn and use, and, last but not least, the team is very engaged and ready to help with any issue.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are minor bugs and there could be more integrations. The support for localized frameworks and functionalities (Brazilian in my case) would be nice.

We worked with Scytale on SOC2 audit and Oron Nachmany was the representative of Scytale that worked with us

but mostly I liked the structure that the system provides us which removes the uncertain we had when we approached the process. working with Oron was great he is very professional, explained very clearly all the process, met with us on a weekly basis verifying we understand all our tasks and progress as schedule. What do you like best about the product?
The Sctytale team is always available to help, provide explanations and documentation. Their management platform is extremely easy to follow and understand. The steps to achieve compliance and comply with planned activities are explained in a simple way
What do you dislike about the product?
If you are not committed to the certification process and planning, Scytale is not for you.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We do not have internal processes or standards to comply with ISO 27001 and they are supporting us to build everything from scratch.

Knowledgable and experienced staff with an intuitive platform to match that allowed easy integration into our processes and tool sets. Oron and his team provide consistent guidance and ensure all miltestones are met time after time.

Timezone differences mean early meetings.
