Clear and automated tracking for compliance
What do you like best about the product?
You can see all compliance tasks in one place, grouped by compliance framework, and lots of task tracking is automated via integration with tools like github, AWS
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes some pages can be slightly slow to load, and filters / sorting can be cleared when taking certain actions
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Providing easy tracking and enumeration of tasks needed to be compliant with a given framework eg. SOC2, ISO 27001. These specifications are very lengthy and confusing and Scytale makes it much more easy to understand for non-lawyers

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Preparation for security audits like ISO27001, SOC2 etc. especially for first-timers, gets much more accessible, more manageable and improve your chances for success.
Platform and service for your SOC2 compliance
What do you like best about the product?
The service is excellent, The application comes pre built with very useful templates allowing a quick ramp up.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform is a bit sluggish and tracking of changes could be improved

Got to SOC2 Type I and Type II certification really fast
What do you like best about the product?
Their service: the fact that there is a dedicated person that works with you and helps you to address all the compliance issues in a satisfactory way (implementing required processes, adding tools), while making sure you're only adding what is necessary and makes sense for our size (we were only 6 people when doing the audit, which simplified a lot of things).
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing much. Their system can grow further and become more mature, which I'm sure it will. But for us it was complementary to the service, and not the main thing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scytale provides us with service and tool to manage SOC2 compliance (and probably additional types of compliance in the future). They are very professional and dedicated and are able to manage the audit preparation so that the actual audit is very smooth and not time consuming.

Github integration could have more capabilities that will prevent the user from manually going through sampled PR's.

They easily manage e2e evidence gathering for diff types of compliance licenses

What do you like best about the product?
Our Compliance Success Manager, Wesley, was an absolute rock star. His expertise and guidance, combined with Scytale's platform's capabilities, were instrumental in helping us achieve our certification goals.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Scytale's evidence collection capabilities fell short of our expectations, we remain optimistic that the platform will continue to improve and address these shortcomings in the future.

Scytale is solving the problem of managing complex compliance processes by providing a powerful platform that streamlines evidence collection, compliance tracking, and reporting. This benefits us by reducing the time and effort required to achieve and maintain compliance, allowing us to focus on our core business activities while ensuring that we meet all necessary regulatory requirements.
Amazing people, a great service and a real product
What do you like best about the product?
First of all, Scytale found great people who helped us to understand the compliance world and to make the relevant adjustments to achieve our goal. Oron (who was our customer success manager) is very welcoming and nice, and working with customers is so natural for him. Thus, I am not surprised that even a challenging process of being SOC2 compliant was fun and effective thanks to his patience and great attitude and energy. I feel lucky that he was the person who helped us with anything we needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like the product could be a bit more convenient. As a customer, I totally get Scytale's intention and direction, and I think that they are on the right road. However, it felt like the product can be more easy to use, less time-consuming while using it, and with less bugs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scytale helped us to be SOC2 compliant, which is very important for us as a company that wants to sell its product to other big customers that require this compliance. We highly consider using Scytale again to be compliant with other standards like ISO.
Simplifying Compliance
What do you like best about the product?
The customer support team is very hands-on. Our compliance manager was always available for any questions, concerns and advisories. They walked us through the process until we officially had the report, guiding us on each SOC 2 requirement.

What do you dislike about the product?
We provided them some suggestions based on customer experience and were happy to see their team consistently working on improved features and enhanced platform maturity.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By avoiding the lengthy and daunting processes involved in security compliance, we saved hours of work with automation and their compliance team. It helped us go through the SOC2 process in a simple way.

An excellent, user friendly platform, requirements are all there and well set out! Makes the journey so much easier! The response time and customer support is great.

N/A - this product is fantastic and I like all aspects - in fact, the new developments have really made a difference to the platform!
