Great product and people
What do you like best about the product?
Scytale made SOC II easy and organized. Romy and Ashleigh we great to work with and really helped us through every step of the process.

The platform generally worked great, but there could be more integrations.

What do you like best about the product?
Working with Scytale - and especially with Tamanna - is a great experience. She is professional, organized, and truly feels like a partner in the process. I always know exactly where I stand in every category, and the platform makes everything clear and structured. It’s easy to use and automates many manual tasks that would otherwise take hours. The weekly meetings with Tamanna are super helpful and create consistency and focus.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the sync of the integrated tools isn’t fully up to date, but the support team - especially through the ticketing system - is very fast and helpful, so issues get resolved quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scytale helps us manage our compliance and audit process efficiently, without the usual stress or confusion. It centralizes all the evidence, controls, and policies in one place, and automates reminders and tracking so nothing is missed. This saves a huge amount of manual work and gives full visibility into our readiness at any moment. It also helps us stay organized and prepared for the audit, making the entire process faster, clearer, and more manageable.
Scytale help with ISO certification preparation
What do you like best about the product?
The Scytale application is easy to use and offers excellent high-level scope and progress tracking. The customer support team is also very helpful, with Ashna Jeeva serving as our main point of contact and providing great assistance.

The software had a few bugs, but they were addressed and resolved promptly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are preparing for ISO 27001 certification. This process involves a thorough review of our existing information security policies and procedures to ensure they meet the required standards. It requires careful planning and attention to detail, as every aspect of our information management must be evaluated and, if necessary, improved. The preparation is demanding, but we believe it will ultimately strengthen our organization's security.

Their support and consultancy service is well thought out.
What do you dislike about the product?
Could have suppoort for a few more integrations, but nothing essential is missing. There is also a feature to add customer vendors/suppliers.

DORA compliance management, implementation templates and penetration testing.

There’s a bit of a learning curve when you first start setting up integrations and mapping controls, but once the system is configured, it runs smoothly. Reporting customization could be a bit more flexible, though it’s improving steadily with new updates.

Before using Scytale, we managed compliance manually across spreadsheets, emails, and shared folders — which was slow, error-prone, and stressful before audit deadlines.

Their team really knows what they’re doing — they guide you on exactly what needs to be done, without overloading you with unnecessary tasks. The pricing is great, and the consultant package is absolutely worth it. It saves a lot of time and effort since everything, including the penetration test, is handled by Scytale directly. No need to deal with multiple third-party agencies or consultants — it’s all managed in one place.

Honestly, nothing so far. Everything has worked smoothly and the experience has been excellent.

The best part of using Scytale was the consultant who guided us through our SOC 2 process. They were knowledgeable, approachable, and made the whole experience much easier to navigate. The platform itself is useful for managing controls and collecting evidence through its integrations, which helps keep compliance efforts organized and efficient once you get used to it.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few small areas for improvement. We ran into the occasional bug, and some of the documentation could be clearer. A few integrations required some manual setup on our side, which took a bit of extra time, but it wasn’t a major issue. Overall, it’s a solid platform — especially when combined with the great guidance we received from the Scytale team.

Some bugs and missing integrations but they are always adding more and fixing issues fast.
