What do you like best about the product?
Remote lock/wipe of the workstation, and the report feature was able to provide me an insight at very granular level.
What do you dislike about the product?
identifying the issue of why some workstation were not able to sync all data back to the console.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
securing/protecting data on remote device was a challenge. Remote lock/wipe device in Absolute helped to protect my data.

Great for tracking equipment being shipped

What do you like best about the product?
The message feature is great when trying to update a large amount of hardware in a short time frame. There are many features that I have used in the last two years that have been very helpful but I have also found some glitches within the application.
What do you dislike about the product?
It sometimes does not update in a timely manner and that has caused issues in some of ghe projects I have to had tely on the tool as a source of data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For our organization it serves as an asset management tool which helps us teack the laptop assets that are deployed and on our network

A solution that really works!

What do you like best about the product?
The possibility of freezing Windows devices even if they are formatted multiple times. The web platform is fast, stable, and easy to understand. Reports are generated quickly even with many associated devices. The support so far is excellent, always willing to clarify doubts. I use the platform every day to manage my devices and locate them when necessary.
What do you dislike about the product?
The deployment could be improved, as the agents take at least 15 minutes to install completely.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Block, locate, and inventory devices.

What do you like best about the product?
Device Visbility. Tracking, Remote Freeze & Remote Wipe are the standout features, along with the ease of implementation.

The devices are easy to manage, and the customer support is great!
What do you dislike about the product?
Visibility of licensing information per device would be useful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Oversight of all endpoints was problamtic once they were disconnected from the network, or if a device was reported stolen. Absolute has enabled us to recover stolen / wiped devices with ease.

Security made easy!

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Absolule has partnered with all the major manufacturers to have their product baked into the BIOS. This is extremely helpful since someone can't just replace the hdd, as absolute will reinstall itself automatically and lock the computer again.
What do you dislike about the product?
No dislikes. They have different tiers which will unlock different features. It would be nice to just have everything in one package, but that's their business model, so can't really take points away for that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves the problem of being able to track devices and lock them in cases of loss or theft. It also gives us great insight into where our employees are working from, and whole suite of other use cases.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to freeze devices and monitor individual software/application installed along with PII tracking
What do you dislike about the product?
When the subscription ends, devices that were frozen will remain frozen.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to track software and protected information across devices along with remote freezing to hardware level

What do you like best about the product?
The UI is easy to navigate and the install process is much easier than many of it's competitors.
What do you dislike about the product?
The lack of native PCI compliance patching. It has reporting capabilities, but directly patching and assist in maintaining compliance is an area the product could benefit from.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Through custom workflows built in Cortex, we have unique patching configured to hit the most critical endpoints. WSUS was not user friendly and was a beast to maintain, Syxsense has been able to offer a lot of time savings in the ability to automate these processes.

What do you like best about the product?
Pushing company updates to endpoints and ensuring security alongside.

Ticket categorization are not accurate.
Should be customizable to meet company and business strategies.

Scans endpoints and detects unwanted programs needed by our company.

What do you like best about the product?
We were able to customize the deployment to allow for our custom client identifiers. Also, it allowed us to script upgrades of SQL from one version to the next and automate the process. We can deploy updates seemlessly and it's very cost effective.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes we have issues where updates are no applied properly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping us compliant and allowing us to patch our systems and keep them up to date across thousands of endpoints.
