Improved Conversion with data driven Delivery Expectations

  • By Raphael N.

What do you like best about the product?
We're seeing significant improvement in the Product Detail, Cart, and Checkout conversion just by displaying data-driven Delivery Predictions. It's simply harnessing data we already have to crunch product attributes (weight, dims) along with multi-origin, carrier, and destination data so shoppers know what to expect when placing their orders. It brings in additional live data points (holidays, carrier conditions, and more) to give the store confidence in making these predictions.

By tailoring these options further, profitability is increased. For example time frames on free shipping can be tailored based on conditions and Upselling to the next paid shipping level can be achieved. It truly has provided ChessHouse.com with an experience that is better for the customer and more cost effective and intelligent for the merchant.
What do you dislike about the product?
The product could be more intuitive from an admin standpoint. But the support team is very responsive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Shopper inquiries by phone and email were nearly eliminated by adding this information in the shopping experience.

It's harnessing data we already have + carrier and additional datapoints to provide a more tailored and helpful experience to the customer.

It's helping us avoid shopping offerings that are senseless or confusing to customers.
