User-Friendly RunMyJobs with Excellent Support and Smooth Migration
What do you like best about the product?
The RedWood RunMyJobs application provides a user-friendly way to create jobs, chains, time windows, libraries, and many other objects. We use RMJ on an everyday basis in our project, and it makes it easy to monitor jobs and review monthly and yearly usage, such as how many jobs are running. We can also schedule upgrade packages at our convenience and assign user privilege roles (Admin, Operator, View access roles).
With RMJ, it’s easier to implement events such as Raise, Wait, and File events, and to create dependencies between jobs. Their support service is also excellent, with minimal turnaround time. The support team is always there to help, and they’re just a ticket away.
We also completed a migration project from one of the Workload Automation tools to RunMyJobs, and it was much easier than expected. Installing the agents on the server, migrating jobs, integrating with an ITSM tool, and handling API integration all went smoothly. It’s also easier to debug job failures thanks to the logs and the simpler UI, which provides the necessary information in one place.
Redwood also has their learning platform, Redwood University, where they have courses on RunMyJobs. The course content and structure is very well designed and very helpful for anyone who is new to RunMyJobs.

What do you dislike about the product?
RedWood RunMyJobs offers three UI Options (Modern, Classic, Legacy) with Modern UI being a bit complex, if you are new to RunMyJobs. Also, being a SaaS product (hosted on cloud), it gets a bit tricky to work on reports.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Redwood RunMyJobs provides an enterprise-level batch scheduling tool with a modern interface, and its UI is easy to navigate. With its university platform as well, it becomes easier for someone who is new or needs help getting started. When it comes to creating dependencies among jobs, scheduling, and having easy monitoring options, it is helpful for day-to-day activities. It also provides access control options such as Admin, Operator, and View access, through which we can grant the right level of access to specific people. We can also see our monthly and yearly usage on the dashboard. Its audit feature is quite helpful too. Overall, it offers the features that make it an ideal batch scheduling tool.

Simplifies Job Automation and Monitoring
What do you like best about the product?
it gives one central place to schedule, monitor, and control all jobs across different systems. It shows real-time status, handles complex job dependencies, and sends alerts when something fails. This reduces manual work, makes processes more reliable, and helps ensure important business jobs run on time.
What do you dislike about the product?
some advanced features are not very easy for new users and take time to learn. The interface and navigation can sometimes feel complex when troubleshooting or setting up detailed workflows, so proper training is usually needed at the beginning.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
RunMyJobs removes a lot of manual work by automating and coordinating jobs across systems. It reduces errors, saves time, and gives early alerts when something goes wrong. Because of this, processes run more reliably, deadlines are easier to meet, and I can focus more on important tasks instead of constant monitoring.

The initial implementation takes some time and is not very simple for first time users. The UI could be more modern and some settings are not very intuitive.

It automates scheduling and monitoring across multiple systems. Ease of integration is good, as it connects smoothly with our existing applications and tools. Customer support was very helpful during implementation and also when we faced issues later. This reduced manual effort and improved operational efficiency.
Clean Core SAP scheduling with seamless S/4HANA & BTP automation—no downtime upgrades
What do you like best about the product?
The "Clean Core" approach for SAP is the MVP for me. Unlike the old scheduler (Control-M) which required constant agent updates and custom transports inside SAP, RMJ connects natively - I liek that it handles S/4HANA jobs and BTP automations seamlessly without having to write custom ABAP wrappers. The SaaS model also allows to not have any planned downtime for scheduler upgrades anymore - it happens in the background as you go on about your day.
What do you dislike about the product?
The reporting capabilities need a lot of work, imo. Yeah you can see everything in the dashboard, but creating a custom, executive-level PDF report for C-suite stakeholders still demands a lot of manual configuration or external tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For us, we are solving the problem of "Hybrid Chaos". We have legacy ECC systems on-prem and the new S/4HANA instances in the cloud. In that regard, RMJ acts as the single pane of glass for both. While allowing us to decommission three different legacy schedulers, it also helps reduce the maintenance overhead by about 40%.
RunMyJobs Makes Enterprise Automation Manageable, Visual, and Dependable
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best is that RunMyJobs makes complex, enterprise-wide automation feel manageable, visual, and dependable without requiring huge infrastructure overhead, it bridges the gap between business needs and IT execution.
What do you dislike about the product?
RunMyJobs scores well overall, but typical pain points cited by users revolve around cost, reporting limitations, integration/setup complexity, and learning curve, especially for organizations without deep automation expertise.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It elevates the way work gets done — and that’s something I can genuinely recommend to teams dealing with complex job automation.
