New UI and Insights Deliver Much-Needed SAP Job Scheduling Visibility

  • January 16, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The new UI and insights are definitely moving in the right direction. We’ve needed better visibility into which jobs we have scheduled in SAP and, more importantly, how often they run. Do long job runtimes overlap with each other? Those are the kinds of questions that matter most from a SAP technical perspective.
It has been stable, we no longer have manual pre and post activities for RMJ patching and have gained confidence in the stability of your patch cycles. Clear improvement over our old On-Prem setup from the past.
What do you dislike about the product?
Help prospective customers reduce their job counts by tackling small, frequent jobs (easy wins) before locking them into the new per-job billing model. Otherwise, there’s a risk of simply carrying over their current, inefficient scheduling as-is and using that to determine the job count required under the new licence. Huge customer savings potential here.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SAP Job scheduling - simply not possible at scale with SAP's in-house tooling.

Intuitive Interface, Stable and Reliable Tool

  • January 16, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the RunMyJobs interface because it is very user-friendly and easy to work with. I have worked with Redwood products for over 15 years and find it to be a very stable tool. I also appreciate how simple the initial setup is, as well as the version updates.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the dashboard part doesn't work that well. The default dashboards cannot be modified, nor can new ones be created for specific processes that are critical and I need to be monitoring.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
RunMyJobs helps me manage execution times, receive notifications, and make more timely decisions.

RMJ Makes SAP Job Scheduling Easy with End-to-End Automation and Clear Dashboards

  • January 16, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love how RMJ automates SAP job scheduling and workflows end-to-end without much coding. The dashboards make it easy to see job status and history, and its alerting system keeps me on top of failures or long-running jobs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Initially, configuring jobs and setting up the system was challenging without detailed documentation. Support could be more responsive and documentation more comprehensive for new users.
Configuring the calendars it bit difficult for special calendar for combination of holidays and workdays
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It transformed how we handle backend processes — automating hundreds of jobs daily, saving time, reducing manual coordination, and improving reliability. Alerts help us react quickly when issues occur.

Efficient Feature-Rich Scheduler with Room for AI Improvement

  • January 16, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I find RunMyJobs to be very light, which is great. We have migrated from the old version to the new version, and job scheduling is fast. It's nice that we didn't need to switch to new software after migrating to RunMyJobs. I also like that the look and feel is similar to what we were used to, making the transition smoother.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think RunMyJobs' on-prem version lacks some AI features that are apparently available in the SaaS version. It would be great to see some improvements there so that we can have AI features in the on-prem version as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
RunMyJobs automates our job scheduling in SAP and non-SAP spaces, so we don't have to run jobs manually. It works very well for operations.

User-Friendly Automation with Robust Scheduling and Seamless Integrations

  • January 15, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
User-Friendly Interface: An intuitive web interface allows users to manage jobs from anywhere, requiring less training.
Simplified Automation: Reduces manual tasks and coding through drag-and-drop features, process chains, and templates.
Robust Scheduling & Monitoring: Advanced calendaring, load balancing, and real-time alerts for job status, failures, and performance.
Versatile Integrations: Seamlessly connects with SAP, Informatica, Power BI, Tableau, and other applications for end-to-end automation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cost & Value: Perceived as expensive, with some feeling the features don't justify the price, especially for smaller companies.
Complexity: High initial learning curve, difficult setup, and complexity in configuring advanced workflows and data handling.
Customization & Connectors: Customization is challenging, with reports of bugs and poorly developed connectors hindering usability.
Reporting: Lacks sufficient templates and advanced reporting, with users finding existing features complex, inefficient, and hard to configure
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Process Fragmentation and Silos: Many organizations use multiple, disconnected automation tools and legacy job schedulers, creating data and process silos. RunMyJobs consolidates these into a single, cohesive platform, enabling seamless orchestration across diverse systems like SAP, Oracle, Windows, Linux, and more.
Manual, Repetitive Tasks and Human Error: The platform automates tedious and time-consuming manual tasks, such as data entry, financial transactions, report generation, and file transfers. This significantly reduces the risk of human errors that can impact critical business operations like billing and financial close processes.
Lack of Visibility and Control: Traditional tools often lack real-time monitoring and centralized control, making it difficult to track job status and dependencies. RunMyJobs provides a central dashboard for end-to-end visibility and proactive, predictive monitoring of service-level agreements (SLAs) and potential issues.
Complex Coding and Maintenance Overheads: Legacy automation often requires extensive custom coding and scripting, which is time-consuming and difficult to maintain. RunMyJobs uses a low-code/no-code, drag-and-drop interface and pre-built connectors to simplify automation development, making it accessible to a wider range of users and reducing IT maintenance efforts.
Scalability and Cloud Migration Challenges: Outdated on-premises schedulers struggle to scale with evolving technology landscapes and cloud strategies (like RISE with SAP). As a native SaaS solution, RunMyJobs provides a flexible, scalable, and secure architecture that simplifies cloud migration and ensures high availability (guaranteed 99.95% uptime).

Redwood Runmyjobs: Easy Scheduling, Strong Automation, and Deep SAP/Peoplesoft Integration

  • January 14, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use; flexibility and control over job scheduling; and multiple ways to hold and release jobs are some of the areas where Redwood Runmyjobs stands out. I also value the underlying platform for its security and audit-friendly nature, along with the automation of workloads. Its deep integration with SAP, Peoplesoft, and file watcher jobs, plus strong control over chains, makes day-to-day operations more manageable. The health checks that proactively inform customers about potential issues are especially helpful. Finally, the new UI gives administrators more control, and the seamless SSO integration with the customer IdP rounds out a set of capabilities that, in my view, make Redwood Runmyjobs a market leader.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although I appreciate the efforts of the Runmyjobs team, we did run into an issue for which the team was not able to identify an RCCA. Even so, they proceeded with preventive steps, which I do appreciate. We also experienced a few unplanned outages, though these have not occurred in the past few months. These concerns are what keep me from rating it as a 10/10 application.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This application is currently our enterprise-level job scheduling solution. We’ve integrated it with multiple applications, including mission-critical SAP, PeopleSoft, and other similar systems. The console provides a single, consolidated interface that gives us a holistic view of scheduling and job monitoring. In addition, the alerts help us identify issues before they turn into problems, so we can address them in time and mitigate failures.

Streamlined SAP Job Scheduling with Ease

  • December 12, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use RunMyJobs for scheduling and supporting SAP related jobs at my company, and I really like the graphical user interface. It's the best out there, with object-oriented drag and drop features and the ability to run jobs simultaneously. It's also very stable. Setting up jobs is super easy with the job definitions and building chains to fit our process needs. The ease of use is a big plus, as you don't need extensive training and can just teach yourself.
What do you dislike about the product?
Possibly the reporting or performance aspects, but I believe they will be upgraded soon. Sometimes job definitions get corrupted and you have to recreate them again. The initial setup can be improved; there are a lot of steps to do the setup, and it would be good if they can shorten the amount of steps to configure all aspects of the installation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use RunMyJobs to schedule SAP jobs efficiently, optimizing batch processes day and night. The intuitive drag-and-drop interface makes job setup easy, aligning with process needs without extensive training.
