Redwood out the box software, very versatile
What do you like best about the product?
The versatility of the software and the multiplatform abilities.
I like we can link all our batch with SAP system (ECC, SCM, BI) with Azure, Windows and UNIX.
Making the daily batch interlinked.
Daily batch number exceeed 16K.
Customer Support is also very good and 24/7 if required.
The new cloud based RMJ Redwood seems to have more out the box features.

What do you dislike about the product?
SQL, I cant write SQL and find some of the reporting difficult to configure.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Linking up or multiplatform SAP systems allows us to report and close the finacial period end sleakly.

What do you like best about the product?
We can almost schedule all types of batch jobs through Redwood Tool.
It has got a good vendor support system as well now.

Interface is same as it is sonce last 7 years.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All of our manufacturing, packaging, warehousing jobs are handled by Redwood.
For us it is the backbone of all the applications.

Recommended Redwood Job Scheduling Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I have used Redwood's Job scheduling tool twice first CPS for many years and now "Run My Jobs" . CPS was very ease to understand and have customer friendly UI. Not very much diffcult to implement and it came to as one of the best tool to automate one of Basis most cumbersome tasks Job monitoring. It's features like job definition, job chain, time windows, BW process chains are easy to understand in concept and not very complex in terms of managing the job scheduling.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much is there to dislike about the tool, just some scripting languages that tool uses are not easily understandable to customers. Also the partition concept is a bit confusing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Redwood's Job scheduling tool CPS and " Run My Jobs" has made things so easy to monitor and alerting when it comes to jobs management. Such a great experience using it. The UI is so user friendly and it has reduced so many tasks in terms of monitoring of backend financial as well as housekeeping jobs.

What do you like best about the product?
Redwood has a great Interface which is User-friendly and easy to use, It is more Flexible and Reliable solution to Improve the Efficiency. Automating the complex workflows has reduced the Manual efforts and intervention, Completes the tasks more Accurately and quickly. User without Technical experience and coding knowledge can also design and configure the Automation workflows. It offers wide veriety of features like cloud, hybrid and on-premises for our Business needs which increased the productivity.
What do you dislike about the product?
Customer Support and Assistance of the Software should keep more Active.
Pricing is bit expensive for Smaller businesses to implement Automation.
Initialy it is complex to Setup and configure the tool.

It was a challenging to handle the wide range of tasks, by implementing Redwood we are able to Automate the Workload and complex workflows effortlessly. Redwood has an Error handling feature which decreased the occuring errors and increased the Accuracy.

I know this tool and its usage, but people in the market face some issues as there is no detailed documentation or customer service.

It would be great if the customer service is improved a bit.

Redwood Software is beneficial for DevOps to automate CI/CD and schedule the pipelines. Monitoring and automatic notification. And also it helps to reduce manual effort. Redwood is perfect combination of highly configurable.

As per my experience, There is nothing major points to add, but Redwood has log file limitation with size. if the log file exceeds the limitation of size, then it will skip the log, but it happens in rare cases.

Redwood helps with less effort as it has a perfect combination of highly configurations. As we have upstream and downstream jobs, it helps to schedule the job in chains, and it has to pick the correct environment variables/attributes. Its supports with different types of alerting messages .
