A transformative solution to a business critical process.
What do you like best about the product?
There are so many! The GUI lends to the ease of use of the product, which is top-notch! The visibility and reporting available make continuous improvement much easier. We've been able to empower the user base so they now have control over their jobs to start, pause, rerun them without the involvement of other team members. Lastly, the dynamic options of how jobs can be scheduled have resulted in a shift in the way job scheduling is approached.
What do you dislike about the product?
The migration process has been time-consuming but that is because the implementation included optimization and consolidation of the jobs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The legacy solution was rigid in how jobs could be scheduled and inflexible in that manner. With RMJ, we have all the options in the world including dependencies, competition of preceding job, ect. rather than the simple time of day. The greatest benefit is job performance in an easy to analyze panel. This was very low hanging fruit the ability to automatically change the jobs during daylight saving time was huge for the team.

Powerful Workload Automation tool
What do you like best about the product?
I like the SaaS instance and the overall agility of the tool. The GUI is very user-friendly and makes it much easier to navigate and use. The availability of the tool is top-notch.
I also appreciate how easy it is to integrate with different platforms, along with the support team that helps us resolve issues quickly when they come up.

What do you dislike about the product?
The backend programming which is not visible to us, hence makes it a bit difficult to identify the issue when there is a need to be and needs involving the support team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I primarily use it for complex batch scheduling and for integrating with different platforms such as SAP, Windows, Linux, and databases. It helps ensure that batches run on time, in the correct sequence, and with the right dependencies in place.
Best of breed process automation engine
What do you like best about the product?
Robust platform for process end to end automation. High performance, secured, stable and scalable platform. Very integrated with ERP (SAP transaction, API based) enabling improved process standardization and industrialization (very good support for process standardization and scalable effect in a GBS shared services context)
What do you dislike about the product?
Not linked to the tool but to reach sucess the platform requires good business maturity on process standardization and mapping at level three detailed knowledge. At the end of the day, the functional expertise on design is the most time consuming for rapid time to market process implementation in the organization and payback.
Also platform requires strong ERP knowledge for best integration with robot process efficiency. The IT wll need also to invest entry ticket and resource (limited but must have) to build technical expertise for platform implementation, robotized process delivery SAP integrated and deliver necessary further business support. But this is not a default of the platform but more the necessary skills to make it happen.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We managed to break the silos between countries, regions and functions in the context of GBS shared services global organization. Therefore we solved a problem of shared services level and enforced shared services deployment.
The platform allowed effective productivity, internal control and process speed increase.
Process steps integration in and out of the ERP, XLS integration and workflows embedded management solved recurrent processes issues experienced for years.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Spend time to analyse and study the target process that make the most synergies with automation (scale, effort, control). Make it happen (eg proof of concept) and test with one process (even if not 100% fully clear)
work internally to have IT teams on board (no shadow IT possible here)

The missing link to progress to our Finance Transformation
What do you like best about the product?
Looking at our complete processes end-to-end instead of only some of the steps, which is a big difference with the way we work with RPA tools.
Robust and little maintenance because they do not use the User Interface but are essentially API-oriented.
Like the flexibility of automating our own processes using the plug-and-play components from their big library store.
Their very close integration with SAP (even each T-code) and other enterprise applications (even Saas or websites)

What do you dislike about the product?
Business case was more difficult to build because their brand name is not widely recognized
First you need to work on processes (it's very useful but can be seen as a lot of work at the beginning)

A flexible Closing Calendar that allows to send instructions to colleagues (integrated workflow) but also to start executions of fully automated processes.
Redesign and execute completely automatically a manual Journal Entry process. Only a few stops when a user needs to approve.
Automation allows us to be less reliant on our agents and accountants during Covid. Reports and data are faster and reliable (everything is in audit trace)

Mature SaaS Workload Automation Solution
What do you like best about the product?
Building processes is much better in RunMyJobs. We set tasks up in a logical flow and then they run automatically when something happens instead of scheduling and waiting for new day forecast updates. We’re more agile and the processes are more reliable. Not having to deal with infrastructure admin anymore is great. Redwood helped us move off Control-M. It was painless and the services team are second to none. They also gave advice that has helped us optimise our processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing I can think of. It is very easy to create automation scenarios and does what it needs to without hiccup. The documentation could be better but it’s been improving.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We run a lot of processes including replenishment on cloud and prem applications with several thousand file transfers as part of that. We send data feeds to our BI system and update our systems throughout the day so we have a more real-time view of all our processes. It’s a lot more efficient and up-to-date and we’ve eliminated a lot of tech debt along the way.
Comprehensive Cloud Native Solution to Automate IT and Business Processes
What do you like best about the product?
Out of the box SaaS workload automaton solution with power. Allows us to manage, automate and orchestrate application, data, middleware across extended supply chain with low code intelligent event driven process automation that makes configuration quick and easy. Also comes with great source control, roll back and audit trails for complete lifecycle management. In addition the built in SLA monitoring gives us early warning signals before any issues are likely to occur.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not think there is anything I dislike. The solution has really been built with business use in mind and is far ahead of traditional on premises Workload Automation tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have orchestrated and automated the information and data flows across our business to ensure logistics and supply chain are optimised and also the reporting is both timely and accurate
