API Manager helped us to migrate from an old legacy solution and maintain integration with its under-systems for old client business need fulfilling.
Ease of customisation allowed us to redesign processes, optimize them and provide API M for our clients as a self-service platform which allowed us to free inner resources and use them for platform improvement and decelopment

Best API Management platform with AI Capabilities
What do you like best about the product?
WSO2 API Manager series 4.5 is powered with AI capabilities such as API Chat for Api Developers to test the API, capabilities to connect with other gateways such as Amazon API Gateway, capability to connect AI gateway etc. The publisher portal has now support of AI Design assistant where we provide the prompt and the API design is created on the fly.
The deployment pattern has also been simplified with unified control plane. Earlier I had a challenge in logs and monitoring for WebSocket APIs, however v4.5 has solved the problem of the same.

We had some legacy and some services to be developed using java/spring-boot. WSO2 API Manager helped expose both kinds of services as REST and with no-code changes on legacy services via XML-JSON transformation.API governance for certain services was critical, and token-based API access helped manage the same. WSO2 APIM also helped in API Analytics for business decision-making towards monetising specific APIs.

What do you like best about the product?
Since the very first day of onboarding with the WSO2 product, we`ve worked closely with their support team. They helped us with the different challenges / issues we were facing and despite the fact we have an important time zone offset, they are very prompt to respond to any request we have. The WSO2 API Manager is now used in production for multiple projects we we are still expanding with many more incoming projects in the roadmap

Highly scalable and agile API management solution
What do you like best about the product?
Very comprehensive cost-efficient API manager product with a lot of agility and scalability. Being free and open source was a great fit for us as a startup back in 2014. We could set up the on-premise solution by referring to the documentation and running since then without any major issues.
It works perfectly with identity management solutions and we used it to easily manage multiple APIs and applications. The JWT token-based claim resolving at the APIs was beneficial in managing user status in our restful API suite.
Also, the product stability /scalability is at a satisfactory level. The API publisher and store portal are very user-friendly and intuitive to manage by even a non-technical user

Emojot is a multi-tenant SaaS application in the domain of customer-centric digital transformation domain. We had a challenge in finding highly scalable, versatile APIM solutions while being cost-efficient. WSO2 APIM was instrumental in providing solutions for all these key challenges we were facing in the API management domain.
We are securely managing multiple APIs of our enterprise-grade platform with the WSO2 API manager. We had a challenge in passing user claims to the backend services in a scalable and efficient manner and JWT claim handling became very handy and it worked nicely with the integration of the identity provider which we are using for user authentication.
Also, it makes us very efficient when exposing our APIs to clients in a secured manner.

What do you dislike about the product?
Almost every feature I expect from an API Manager product is there. So, I don't have any specific feature that I dislike
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm using API manager to apply the security of the API, which is built from Spring Microservice. There, I have two kinds of API for internal system usage and external usage. It easily achieves by configuring an external gateway and an internal gateway. Without API Manager, it will take much effort to build security for the API and maintain two kinds of servers for the API calls.
