Cost-Effective Global Hiring
What do you like best about the product?
Compared to competitors, Playroll offers a more affordable solution without compromising on service quality. Their ability to maintain excellent support while being cost-effective is remarkable.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's nothing to dislike. Their balance of affordability and quality service is precisely what we needed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They've made it super easy for us to hire globally. As a remote team, Playroll has really been a game-changer in expanding our teams.
Finally an EOR provider who cares about us AND our employees!
What do you like best about the product?
The support Playroll gives to us and the employees is a refreshing approach and very welcome. There is a dedicated contact for our employees who may have questions about the pay slip or benefits which is a massive value add. Playroll have understood that a happy employee is what we are hoping from our EOR partners!
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love to see more functionality for our contractors but I hear this is coming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Playroll gives us peace of mind that our employees are not only being hired compliantly but also getting a great experience. We are aware that employee experience has a big impact on productivity and longevity of an employee and (finally) finding an EOR that is aligned with this solves a huge burden for us.
Easy to use and intuitive platform
What do you like best about the product?
Playrol facilitates the growth of a business in a highly cost-effective manner. Their service is exceptional, with lightning-fast response times, and their platform is incredibly user-friendly and intuitive. Thanks to Playroll, we weren able to scale our operations seamlessly and efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
I did not come across any aspects or issues that I dislike about Playroll.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By leveraging Playroll, we were able to streamline the hiring process for employees, without the requirement of extensive knowledge about local taxes and labor laws. Playroll eliminates the need to establish costly and administratively burdensome foreign subsidiaries which was always a pain. This advantage is especially valuable when building a distributed workforce with remote employees operating from different countries. Playroll simplifies and optimizes the hiring process, empowering the business to expand their our presence in a seamless, cost-effective manner.
A standout provider in a crowded EOR market!
What do you like best about the product?
I have really enjoyed interacting with the platform but the service level for both my company and my employees is unlike anything we've seen in the market. Response and resolution times are incredibly fast and even when we want to get some legal support, we know we can speak to a lawyer with local expertise within hours! Im not too sure how they do it but given service levels of competitors are dropping its great to see Playroll stand out against this trend.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to complain about just yet (which is unusual for me!). I would like to see more self serve options with low complexity queries we have but as the support speed is so rapid, this is not yet a real issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We hire employees and contractors in several countries outside of where we have entities. Payroll enables us to hire, pay and manage them in a way that is fully compliant in every country. It is a one stop shop for all employee actions (holiday, expenses, salaries and bonuses etc) and integrates really well with our HR platform Bamboo HR.

Their platform is very user-friendly and intuitive.
The Playroll team is super responsive and assists in providing a solution to any requirement we had.
The communication and the onboarding of our employees were seamless and therefore helpful in keeping our employees happy on this employment model.

What do you dislike about the product?
Until now, I have not encountered any issues that I dislike.
Maybe only the log in process that sends a message to my email and makes it longer to log in to my account.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Playroll helps us hire talent in territories where we don't have legal entities in, and otherwise, this talent won't be accessible to us.
Also, facilitate all the payroll process and provide a lot of information about territories we are not familiar with.

What do you like best about the product?
The platform provides a very useful cost calculator, to easily determine the relative cost of hiring in different countries. The process to onboard an employee is seamless and very light-weight for the employer. They provide world-class support and are always able to resolve issues quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The invoicing and payments process is quite manual, and the platform does not provide accurate visibility on invoicing (yet) - I know this is in process. The required one month deposit without interest can lock in quite a bit of capital, especially for small companies. Timelines for onboarding of employees to ensure they are paid within the hiring month creates some limitations to the start date you can use for new hires.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Playroll enables us to quickly hire employees in virtually any country, without needing any knowledge of local taxes or labor laws. It avoids the need to set up a foreign subsidiary, which can be both costly and cumbersome to administer, especially if you are building up a distributed worforce who work from home from several countries.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Handling multiple location payrolls under one umbrella saves much time in the monthly payroll process.
Updates on local law help us know more about each country's policy rules and regulations. It helps us as a company to be compliant.
