Great Design, But Needs Bug Fixes
What do you like best about the product?
It is quite better int terms of look&feel than others I have used.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some bugs during my website tour, e.g. one step of the auto tour did not check off even when completed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Communicating everything via email is not good for registering the information properly, and this is proper.
Helpful and Intuitive
What do you like best about the product?
The platform is extremely intuitive once you have been lead through its features with the development team happy to listen to feedback on quality of life improvements. The dedicated teams are also very helpful and always on hand to support.
What do you dislike about the product?
The support function could use some work, there are more issues specifically with locations where Playroll are not set up directly - which is more understandable. You can at times be waiting for a while to get feedback on simple requests.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We work over a range of locations and Playroll has really been able to give us comfort in hiring in difficult locations where we wouldn't necessarily feel confident to hire through other partners
Exceptional Support and Effortless Functionality
What do you like best about the product?
The team at Playroll have always been exceptional, they were quick, attentive and understood my needs. The platform itself does what it needs to do.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI/UX is a bit old school / how it interacts BUT it does everything you need and is just easy to use.

Exceptional Global Hiring Support with Stellar Service
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Playroll’s excellent and responsive customer service. Their team is willing to go the extra mile, offering detailed expertise in country-specific compliance, which is incredibly beneficial for hiring a global workforce. The people I work with at Playroll are not just helpful and understanding but also take the time to develop genuine relationships, providing personalized support. This has been particularly valuable for me as a British person living in Italy and employed by a US company, which presents a complex employment situation. I know I can always rely on them for a prompt and helpful response to my needs. Additionally, the initial setup with Playroll was very easy, taking only a week to manage, and this seamless integration has been a significant advantage.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the tech support is the weakest team and they could coordinate better with the customer success managers to provide a smoother, more tailored experience. There could be better communication if they had a small memo about the case file so they were informed. When dealing with non-routine requests, solutions can take a while, although they are generally responsive and keep you in the loop. This is a very minor criticism.

I use Playroll for hiring a global workforce, benefiting from excellent customer service and expertise in country-specific compliance. Their supportive staff resolve complex situations promptly and helpfully.

Our transition from our previous EOR provider to Playroll was a significant change and we were initially unsure of what to expect. However, the Playroll team made the entire process exceptionally smooth and seamless. Their real-time engagement, quick resolutions, and willingness to fully understand the complexities of our organisation have been invaluable. They consistently work with us to find the right middle ground, ensuring we can recruit and employ talent globally with confidence.
The platform itself is intuitive and easy to navigate, and the onboarding support is excellent. We continue to receive consistent guidance and assistance whenever needed, which has made a meaningful difference in managing our global workforce.
One of the areas we value most is Playroll’s ability to support our business as we scale, all while mitigating the risk of territory non-compliance. This takes a significant amount of pressure off HR and allows us to focus on strategic initiatives rather than administrative burdens.
Our dedicated CSM has been an absolute pillar of support and the broader support team has been responsive and helpful in addressing queries efficiently.

What do you dislike about the product?
There is very little to find fault with; however, one area that could benefit from enhancement is the reporting functionality. Greater flexibility - such as expanded options for customizing reports - would elevate the experience considerably, and it’s encouraging to know that such improvements are already on the roadmap. Additionally, the mobile experience could be refined to better serve those who rely on working remotely or on the go. Nevertheless, these minor considerations are far outweighed by the platform’s numerous strengths, making it an overall highly commendable solution.
