Trusted and True
What do you like best about the product?
The app just works. Seamless integration with various browsers
What do you dislike about the product?
Doesn't work smoothly on iOS. But that is an Apple issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smooths out my workflow
Best all inclusive password solution
What do you like best about the product?
I love the fact that it is ubiquitous, I can have my passwords everywhere, I especially like also the one-time passwords feature. The family plan is great I can have shared passwords with my family group. Awesome.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing I can think of at this time that I dislike
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In today's work and home environments we need to deal with tons of user accounts, to keep track of these different passwords there is no better solution than a password manager, I trust the team behind 1password to keep them safe.
I've tried all of them and 1P has consistently been the best
What do you like best about the product?
The core functionality has always been exactly right and their UI has gotten better and better over time. It gives me problems so rarely that I almost never need support but, when I do need it, they are consistently there and helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not their fault, but it just doesn't work everywhere. They always try to help, but it just doesn't always work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
PWs just aren't going anywhere anytime soon and having one of these is critically important. It makes great pws that I don't have to memorize. And the integration with Apple's biosenors is great.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I checked them all and used Dashlane for a while, and this just seems to be the best of the bunch.
The Best Password Vault on the Market
What do you like best about the product?
Fast, allows custom fields, and with a multitude of secret types, supports Android, has wide support for browsers via add-ons.
What do you dislike about the product?
No support for Linux! The Windows and Android apps are of lower quality than the rest and are not fully-featured as the macOS version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having secure passwords, which are not reused across sites.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is a simple and yet powerful password vault, which I highly recommend based on my 5+ years of usage. I've looked into all major alternatives and 1Password wins hands down!
Over a decade of stable, secure updates
What do you like best about the product?
I've used 1Password to keep track of my logins for both home and business for over 10 years.
What do you dislike about the product?
The categories of assets you can store are fairly fixed and I only use a few of them. In addition to allowing arbitrary fields for each entry, which they already support, I would like to just have my own custom categories with custom templates. ie I want to add a Cryptocurrency category(instead of using bank accounts) and create a template for that always displays public / private key.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
New password for every site I use
Sharing passwords with my colleagues as needed
Sharing passwords with my colleagues as needed
Good solid tool, lacking some features
What do you like best about the product?
Solid support for Windows and OS X. Supports most browsers.
What do you dislike about the product?
No support for Yubikey, no linux support. At some point I may have to find another tool because of these two.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ease of use, unique password for each site.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you need Linux or Yubikey (or similar device) support, look elsewhere. Otherwise this is a good product.
Great for securing secrets for a family
What do you like best about the product?
I'm a subscriber to the 1passwords for families and I love the ability to have private credentials, as well as credentials that are shared with my spouse. Agile Bits really takes privacy of credentials seriously and reading their white paper on how they do shared credentials has really put my mind as ease.
What do you dislike about the product?
The price per user could be lower - but that is such a minor complaint for the product they provide
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I needed a secure way to store credentials for my entire family. The ability to easily generate complex passwords, but still have them easily accessible has been great. We keep all the kids' credentials in another vault that we all have access to. It's comforting knowing that if I forgot my master password I can recover it using the families features. It's great the the year costs include access to all versions of the product, both desktop and mobile.
Extremely satisfied
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use once you've started migrating your passwords to 1PW. Professionally it makes managing team and company accounts easy as pie. Personally, it's handy due to the auto-generate password for accounts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Naming system depends solely on the people naming the managed passwords - difficulty in differentiating between several accounts for the same application
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easier communication of password data between personnel
Bes password manager. Ever.
What do you like best about the product?
Totally integrated with every software and device I use. I never need to wonder if 1 Password will work. It just does!
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to point out - great software, great UI and great integration.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I nerver ever have to look for password or to compromise by using password that are too simple. With 1Password, each of my logins is secured with a long complex password that 1Password remembers for mel
Best ever
What do you like best about the product?
Th sync between iOS and Mac. All my password always with me, and the great possibility with browser plugin to save automatically every password or data
