1Password is a load off my mind
What do you like best about the product?
I like the way 1Password integrates into my workflows, and my expectations for seamless syncing between devices are well met.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'll let others offer growth opportunities for 1Password. I can't think of an issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The benefits I appreciate are ease and convenience of operation, and the security of my information.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Passwords, accounts, logins, financial information: it's too much to keep track of safely using paper. Now I can have really impossible passwords for every purpose, and 1Password works seamlessly on my devices. Updates are frequent enough to let me know AgileBits is still developing and growing the product. I remember how I used to handle passwords, and I'll never go back!
Best User-Interface of any software I've ever used.
What do you like best about the product?
Everything about this software is perfect. The user interface is intuitive and keeps the number of clicks needed to an absolute minimum.
Every time I think of a new desired feature they seem to anticipate my needs and come up with an update before I get around to writing to them.
It's literally the best software I've ever used. I've been using software since 1980, and I'm very picky about user-interface design.

What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside to using 1Password is that it is so well thought through that it makes me impatient with the all other software I'm using for other things. Why couldn't they be as thoughtful as 1Password?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm a mental healthcare provider and own my own small group practice. There are literally hundreds of passwords that I need to track for insurance companies and medically HIPAA compliant business associates.
I simply could not do my work without 1Password.

Such a great product
What do you like best about the product?
It's ease of use and security are fantastic.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's hard to say. I use it every day on both windows and mac and ios.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's nice to not have to remember every single password as I go from website to website. It's also great to be able to have throw away passwords for websites that I won't frequent.
Safe, secure and easy!
What do you like best about the product?
This software makes it easy to keep track of all my sensitive data. I love the way it can suggest a password and automatically offers to save any new passwords I create online. Very intuitive and easy to get started. It's great to know that my family only need to know one password to unlock all of my security should anything happen to me. Wouldn't be without it now!
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally it offers to save a password I already have created manually.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having high-grade security at all times - even if I lose my laptop (as has happened to me before!)
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Well worth the cost, for the security and combined vaults.
Great software
What do you like best about the product?
easy to use, regular updates, autofill and syncing
What do you dislike about the product?
very little I don't like. very little I don't like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have tons of passwords and only need one, much stronger passwords than ever before
Simplified password management for work and home.
What do you like best about the product?
I really like that I can click one button and it will open the specified URL and automatically fill in my username and password for me. I feel like this is a safer option than just saving my login information on the browser as it is behind a secure password protected piece of software. I also love the fact that I can manage my personal passwords in a separate vault than my work passwords. It also allows me to share my work passwords with colleagues.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like how the browser helper pops up to ask me if I want to save a password every time I log in to a site, especially when it is a login which has already been saved. I understand this is (and has been) very useful when you want to save a new password for a site, but it sometimes feels like it is intrusive to my workflow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1 Password allows my team to manage passwords for our clients while meeting standards for security required by some of our higher profile clients. Also if we need to change a password, it is changed for everyone at the same time.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you get the mobile app as well so you can manage and access your passwords on all of your devices.
Good for teams, with some reservations
What do you like best about the product?
I like the slick interface, the ability to generate secure, human-readable passphrases, and the Shared Vaults feature to share passwords more securely between teammates.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that local storage is no longer supported as of recent versions. This can be a dealbreaker for those who don't necessarily trust the cloud 100%.

Mandating the use of a trusted, well-vetted password manager is a quick win in improving the operational security of an organisation. In today's data economy and with high-profile data breaches becoming frequent occurrences, it's important to note that many of these breaches resulted from poor password practices.
1Password supports the following good password practices:
- Not re-using passwords for different interfaces, because one no longer needs to remember each password
- Using strong passwords, as 1Password can randomly generate and store passwords
- Not sharing passwords through easily-compromised interfaces, like Google Docs, IRC, or email

Recommendations to others considering the product:
1Password has a delightful interface for people with basic technical skills. Expect full adoption to take a while, and it would be useful to run training sessions for the software to ensure everyone is comfortable using it.
If you're considering a password manager for personal use, do not trust the clould fully and don't mind the lack of shared Vaults or mobile apps, consider KeePassX.

Powerful Features Across Devices
What do you like best about the product?
1Password does a great job of syncing across devices. The UX is very similar and familiar regardless of the platform being used, which makes it easy to switch between them. The permissions and sharing features are also very well designed and have covered all of my use cases so far. I also like the way letters, numbers, and symbols are formatted for easy reading.
What do you dislike about the product?
The things I dislike are all done in the name of security. It's probably not fair to complain about them, but for the purposes of full disclosure: you are automatically logged out too quickly and you have to use a special key in addition to your username and password. These things make the product more secure, but are a noticeable interruption to my workflow. I also do not like the browser plugin because it requires having the native app install as well. At that point it makes more sense to just use the native app.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Improved data security by not sharing passwords in Google Docs. Password management now requires much less overhead, while passwords are still easily accessible by the people who need them. Important passwords are also still accessible after an employee leaves.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
A huge benefit for administrators, but the cost is high enough that we haven't rolled it out for all employees yet. We still use other methods to share non-critical passwords. I suggest starting the rollout among a small group that needs to share passwords the most, then adding other users as needed.
Definitely would recommend this for password safety
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the layout of 1Password. It's simple to use, and it does its job of keeping all of our passwords safe. Everyone has their own password to log into it so they can access general company email addresses that each team might need access to.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of anything at the moment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data encryption is a big business problem, especially among tech businesses.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You can just press the "copy" button without revealing the password which is a nice feature (you could just press "reveal" then copy and paste the password but pressing "copy" is easier).
1password review
What do you like best about the product?
Enables collaboration and security amongst accounting teams. Also very helpful to keep track of the numerous personal log-in's that an employee needs for the different systems log-ins.
What do you dislike about the product?
The frequency of which I have to re-enter my master password. I also don't think the password fill-in function works properly most of the time, I find myself logging into various vaults, copying and pasting the password, rather than the being able to right-click and select my password as intended.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are an accounting firm that stores many log-ins for hundreds of clients. This is a secure method of allowing custom access to each client's vault. It is important that our clients know that we safeguard this information.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you don't currently utilize a password management system, you have no idea what you're missing. This is an essential product for businesses.
