Recommendations to others considering the product:
I've never used LastPass or any other password management. 1Password is great and I've had no reason to look elsewhere
A Must Have for Both Power and Basic Users
What do you like best about the product?
It makes my life so easy because it smoothly store my passwords and fill-in them when needed.
It also supports multiple credentials/logins and two-step authentication.
If you're family user, you may also want to consider 1Password Family.

What do you dislike about the product?
The Mac and iOS version of this app is awesome. But the Windows version is crappy. It's both slow and ugly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For security reason, my company requires me to change password every 6 months. It's such a pain until I used 1Password.
First it coudl generate a password according to certain criteria I chose.
Then it stored the password when the first time I use it on a website.
Then when you need to login, it will automatically fill-in them for you.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you have lots of different passwords for different logins, then you'd better consider 1Password.
It generates, stores and fills in passwords automatically.

1password for everyone
What do you like best about the product?
With 1password you can share the passwords with family members and friends.
1password is $50.00 and can be used across 6 computers. Ideal for family in such situations.
Parents can lock the password from their children editing the password or accidentally deleting the passwords.
Its not just passwords, you can save financial documents or even credit card info as its very secure yet user friendly application.

What do you dislike about the product?
Its not free unlike other applications and has a cost associated to it.
It has single point of failure. if your master password is lost, you might pretty much lose everything. However that the case for every application. It would be if it has 2 factor authentication which sends a text message to mobile or to an email.
I noticed issues with password sync across devices.

Since my family is macintosh or apple friendly, this application plays an important role.
We can share it with the kids and still not let them speak out passwords.
Can have software against multiple devices such as ipad, iphone, laptops and much more.
I can even save a 20 character long password and still dont have to worry about losing the password.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
I wish the application has multi-factor authentication which can ideally remove single point of failure.
As 1password focuses not just on passwords but also gives the flexibility of saving credit card info or and financial documents the above scenario of having two factor authentication plays a vital role.

Favourite password manager for Mac
What do you like best about the product?
I love that 1Password syncs across all my Apple devices (or also Android and Windows devices, if you choose to sync your data to Dropbox). This means I can easily access all my passwords everywhere I need them. It's also very easy to use across all platforms - the interface is very consistent and beautiful across all the platforms I use 1Password on. It looks like a truly professional bit of software.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Safari add-on could display a bit more information about a login. For example, I usually title my passwords by site only, as other details are visible in the 1Password app, but these are not visible in the Safari add-on. This means it's difficult to know which login to select if I have multiple accounts on the same website.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In the past, I've had customers who also used 1Password, which meant we could share passwords to their sites more easily.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The latest version of 1Password improves import from other apps like Dashlane, making it easier to try it out. Make sure to try out the Security Audit functionality to make sure your passwords are all secure and aren't used on sites which have been hacked.
The only tool you'll need to manage all of your passwords!
What do you like best about the product?
It's a secure way to save the passwords to all the software that we use at our company. Without it, there's no way for me to manage my 100+ logins!
What do you dislike about the product?
There's really nothing I dislike about this product. It's top-notch, both on the desktop and on my mobile phone.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ensuring that my credentials are secure and all in one place. Makes it easy for me to quickly log into all of our software solutions to do my work.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Would recommend using its sync functionality to backup your vault into the cloud and using the mobile interface. Especially useful if you have an iPhone as it allows you to use Touch ID.
The Best $65 You Will Ever Spend on Software
What do you like best about the product?
This program is an absolute lifesaver. It lets me keep secure passwords for the myriad of services I use everyday. The browser integration with one-keystroke form fill-ins makes the tedium of logging in and out of sites a non-issue. The integration with iCloud and Dropbox makes syncing changes between computers a breeze.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish they would bring back the ability to fine-grain edit the form fill-in feature. Sometimes the plugin doesn't record the login procedure the right way and it needs a little bit of finessing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use this to store passwords and personal data for myself and clients and transport it seamlessly between computers. When I am done developing a project for a client I often send them a bundle of credentials exported from 1Password for their convenience.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is by far the best credentials manager on the market that I have ever used, and I have used a lot of different products in this space. It's expensive, but worth it.
Great password management with 1 drawback
What do you like best about the product?
I love the integration on Mac OSX and how easy it is to use the keyboard shortcut to enter credentials into any website. I also like how it will generate a random character length password and save it for login info.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish 1password better set up to use a external key for authentication. ( I bought one off of Amazon but was unable to use it in combination with 1password).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Trying to keep teams synced on passwords as well as managing a plethora of logins is annoying as hell. This helps .
Recommendations to others considering the product:
1Password works on every platform (iOS, Android, Mac, Window) as well as many browsers. It's definitely worth a try if you struggle to keep track of all your passwords.
Great product, could be better though
What do you like best about the product?
Password generator, auto fill, multiple vaults and sign ups. All that I expected work great.
What do you dislike about the product?
Integration with mobile OSs. Not that many apps are using the 1password integration plus even when they do, it's not that handy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Security in our company's accounts and my personal ones.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
1Password is fantastic, they are the easiest and most handy password manager I've ever used. Their mobile integration is not that great, but still the best solution I've seen out there.
Team tools not as robust
What do you like best about the product?
I like 1password's clean user interface. It is slicker than LastPass, another password manager I use. 1password's sign up interface was also smoother, and I appreciated their secure password suggester.
What do you dislike about the product?
The tool falls short in several areas. First, it does not seem to have a chrome extension that allows for pre-filling of forms, automatic log in, or automatic new password saving. It's a hassle to open 1password to find the correct login information. Second, the team feature only allows for password sharing within a predefined team. Sharing with a single person - or even a slightly different group - requires a whole new team to be made by the administrator. There's no way to duplicate information across teams, leading to redundant data entry.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are attempting to make it easier to share passwords among our growing team. Due to the use difficulties, we have not yet realized many benefits.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Know that their team offering is still very new and lacking in some key areas.
Good experience, slightly difficult to install but still highly recommended
What do you like best about the product?
It does what it says it does And the ability to store other stuff like notes, credit card info, etc...
What do you dislike about the product?
Installations process was a bit tricky - but i got there in the end. Overall, its a great product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Additional security by not having the same password for every single thing!!! Very, very handy.
