What do you like best about the product?
Speeding up our daily tasks that require login/out (which are plenty) and reassuring us that our data is always safe. Everything just works, no matter the platform we use (desktop/mobile, IOS or Android) which is great since we have all kinds of users in our organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
I couldn't find any. Maybe overall design?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Securing credentials/ financial info/ secure onboarding for new members.

Fantastic product

What do you like best about the product?
1Password makes enforcing security policy easy! I love the fact that the UI is "native" with the various operating systems and makes logging securely on all devices a breeze.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wish there was OS native UI for user mgmt—the web app is a bit clunky in my opinion, compared to the native UI/UX of the other apps.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Password generation, sharing, etc.

What do you like best about the product?
I am really enjoying the ease of use, especially when copying and pasting my created credentials into required login fields, as well as when using the autofill feature on the google chrome extension, it makes the safety of having strong and unique passwords a breeze, no more having to remember multiple different and unique passwords for multiple different login requirements. Creating new login credentials is an easy and much simplier process and the feature that checks for duplicate passwords or breached passwords is just brrilliant. You can easily generate random passwords no matter the requirements, that you can customize to suit certain criteria if needed, you can adjust the length of the passwords being created, you can choose to use special characters for intance symbols and numbers, you can use memorable phrases, or pin codes.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Autofill function does not seems to work with all applications, for instance the VPN client I use specifically, or when logging into my PC in the mornings per say. The google chrome extension was not the easiest to install and get working from the start unfortunately, but it is far easier once it is installed and ready to go. I like having the app on my phone but i havemnt quite worked out how to use the autofill feature just yet sadly, as this would make life easier with credentials on the mobile device.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main benefit for me so far has to be that I am not having to remember different unique passwords for all login details, this really makes it a safer and more secure overall function I am using daily. for me it has really solved being tempted to use a single password for majority of different logins, which is not a secure method in the slightest.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would definitly recommend for anyone to try it, and you will be pleasantly surprised. It is simple to use and makes you more safe and secure overall in the process too. You will be able to use unique passwords whenever a login credential is required. Especially with having so much information available online, using 1password will reduce the risk of having password breaches, and if there are any it will inform you of this too, which is also brillant.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Central password management

Invaluable service with some UI/UX flaws

  • May 10, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Just having a consolidated and secure place for my passwords is invaluable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Chrome's password manager has just made it so much more convenient to use their built-in browser system. Also, the handling of "logins" when creating new accounts is confusing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before I was using the Chrome extension, it helped me secure unique passwords for all my account.

What do you like best about the product?
Auto filling passwords saves so much time!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish Touch ID unlock worked in 1Password X browser extension on Mac.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Alerts to re-used passwords, so significant security increase. 1Password saves so much time auto-filling passwords. Integrates with most TOTP/MFA options, so upgrades security on those accounts while still providing lightning-fast login. Securely lets our team share and update passwords between team members. Each team member only sees what they need with vaults. We can have a security audit of who changed a password if there is an issue. Saves password history if there is an issue when you update a password, you can see the previous password. Secure document storage for items like insurance documents.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I love that the business tier provides 1Password for employees to use at home so they have increased personal security.

A review of 1Password

  • May 07, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The app is secure, easy to navigate, simple to manage for administrators, and the support team is always attentive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Integration with Google would be great. Other than that we have not come across anything else that needs improvement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1Password has been great to utilize passwords for all of our staff members, where vaults are specific to departments or small groups of users. Updating a password is simple and reflective on everyone's local machine. The Chrome extension is also great, however - they might be discontinuing the compact version of the extension - which we use often.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
We used LastPass and other vault providers and 1Password came out on top.

Secure and easy-to-use password manager for all use cases

  • May 04, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
1Password team is constantly updating their apps to ensure that the experience is smooth and bug-free. Team always listens to feedback.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the OS integration (e.g., with macOS) was a bit more robust, but this is a limitation of the OS in the end.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is so easy to change passwords on the fly when hacks or breaches occur. No need to ever remember passwords again (other than your master password)!

I've seen the light

What do you like best about the product?
The authenticator feature, that is was tipped the scales for me, also WatchTower which lets you know if you have duplicated passwords or compromised passwords, it's really useful. There's also a way to share securely things with your family.
They also have extensions for every major browser available, I personally don't like Google Chrome, so it was a relief to see they had FireFox as an option.
If your company provides a license of 1Passwords, it lets you create a free family plan, and I do recommend that you take that oportunity to migrate to it. I used to use iOS keychain for everything, but that ends up being a mess in the long run, sometimes websites have mobile counterparts, with different urls, and with 1Password it's far easier to keep your thing tidy and organized no matter how many passwords you store
What do you dislike about the product?
My family plan account keeps getting locked
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Single place where to store password and authenticator codes
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're already using another password manager, you can migrate organically your passwords, or just take one afternoon one saturday, and fully migrate your passwords. I'd recommend that you doit this way, since you'll be able to have a overview of the security of your passwords by using WatchTower, and you'll be able to go and change all the ones that are duplicated or compromised, and you can add two factor authenticator using 1Password, it evens copy the code when you need to fill it in

Never remembering a bunch of passwords and feeling safe

  • April 30, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love that I do not need to remember a bunch of passwords. I can have them all in the same place by just remembering one.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found I feature that I dislike so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am not using the same password for everything, and I am keeping safe my information in one place.
