Great experience

What do you like best about the product?
The family feature to share passwords across our household.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI on the phone app should bring you directly into predetermined vault, not forcing an extra step to see passwords.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My household has 4 users, and they all use me as their password keeper. I needed a way for my wife to remember/lookup her passwords and the kids to have the ability as well without having to come to me. Now they can all just look up what they need for themselves.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take your time and plan how to implement it. Garbage in, garbage out.

What do you like best about the product?
Security and convenience always compete with each other, yet you guys have mastered the complexity of the former and presented it in a super convenient manner. This is no easy feat and I know the result of hundreds of hours of careful thought and consideration.
What do you dislike about the product?
I only had one dislike, which you guys jumped on the moment big sur was out - auto fill in safari.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Generation of super good passwords,
That I don't need to remember
Easy access to key secure notes on my allle watch

1Password makes living a secure digital existence less of a burden.

What do you like best about the product?
1Password's auto-fill feature is spot on, it identifies fields flawlessly and fills them quickly and accurately. Another simple feature that I find helpful is the ability to view passwords in big type. There are times I'm transcribing a password across the room (for instance), you can chose to view the password in 1Password in a larger window with big type. I have used this unique feature many times. Lastly, 1Pass is quick to use and seamless integrates into my life. It is possible to have unique, crazy-random passwords and implement 2FA everywhere available and still be productive!
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice to have password generator defaults, when being offered a secure password you are at the mercy of what the auto-fill gives you. Let me be clear and clarify, you can auto-generate a password with using the browser plug-in in the extension bar (top right of Chrome) and select the length, complexity type and whether to include symbols or numbers. But the password generator in LastPass has a leg up when it comes to customizing your password creation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The obvious is that I could tell you one of my passwords and... there's no way you'd remember it, even if you wrote it down you would only compromise one website. 1Pass has taken the chore out of 2FA with auto-fill! And I feel extremely comfortable that my data is safe with all of the protections in place to access my account.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Learn how to get 2FA into 1Password. It is not super obvious, but once you figure it out you'll never look back.

Solid password manager for teams

  • December 30, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to share any private data, not just text: .json files, .ssh keys, etc.

MacOS integration is pretty good, though I haven't used it on other platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
Exporting data (e.g. ssh keys) could be improved; there are too many steps between having the key in 1Password, and having it on disk in a directory of my choosing.
I need to "Make a local copy", then search for it in finder, instead of just having a button available to create a new existing copy somewhere of my choosing.
Is there a reason why I cannot simply edit / select the text, then copy&paste it, so I can use it freely?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing private development / deployment secrets to ensure all team members have the same information for running all our projects.
Sharing social media account secrets.
Using 1Password this way currently fills in the role of AWS Secrets Manager / other cloud SAAS secrets managers.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
While I cannot comment on using 1Password as an individual user, consider using 1Password for teams. Even though you might not feel comfortable using it to share production/staging secrets, it comes in handy when you need to keep your team's development secrets synced.

Highly Recommend

What do you like best about the product?
I love everything about 1Password! Love how it can save your username & logins for you different websites and you can one click to auto-fill and log you in! Also generating safe passwords is an awesome feature! Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a username/password storage provider.
What do you dislike about the product?
Very few things I dislike about 1Password. If anything I would say that it logs you out often during the day so you have to login to the application multiple times a day which can get redundant.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me create better passwords, and passwords unique to each website that I don't need to remember or write down anywhere. 1Password does that all for me!

1Password makes my days easier

  • December 30, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use! I love being able to keep my own passwords as well as have access to department and company-wide passwords. This is my 2nd time using 1Password, and I still love it. It saves me loads of time each day from not entering passwords incorrectly and keeps things secure and tidy. I've never even set eyes on some of my passwords because with 1Password, I don't need to. I was so glad to see that my new employer used 1Password when I started.
What do you dislike about the product?
Shortcuts to open 1password in Chrome can be clunky/nonresponsive at times. Not sure if it's a bug or user error. :) Occasionally touchID doesn't work correctly when I need to most.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows me to only need to know one password, and ability to autofill the rest. Saves me time from resetting passwords, and keeps my accounts secure! Only needing to remember one password throughout the day makes logging in speedy and easy! I'd love to get 1password for personal use as well.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just do it. It's well worth the investment and makes logging in 100x easier.

1Password is so easy to use and seamlessly creates unique passwords for you!

What do you like best about the product?
The Google Chrome extension makes it so easy to have your passwords available and pop up when needed. It even can generate a new password for you if your existing one expires.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it will not update a password when I change it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Not having to remember a password, ever! One of the best benefits is how it generates a very unique password for you to use when needing to change or create a new password.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I wish I knew about 1Password sooner!

What do you like best about the product?
I like the security and ease of 1Password. I appreciate that I can share passwords securely with other team members. But, mostly I like that I can have all of this and only have to remember one password.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, there is nothing that I don't like about the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1. Shared passwords across the organization.
2. Tons of time saved.

What do you like best about the product?
1Password makes accessing my plethora of online applications easy, it cleanly saves all of my passwords and usernames to be auto-populated whenever I choose, the tool also recommends areas where I should save potential new identities. They do all of this AND they make my security team happy!
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't know that there is anything I dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have too many identities and 1password is better than a bunch of sticky notes on my workspace.

What do you like best about the product?
It is very quick to use, plus the desktop widget integration is v dope.
What do you dislike about the product?

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Signing in and out of programs rapid fast without needing to type
