Best password manager I've used!

  • December 17, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's really smooth and easy to use, and unlike its competitors, it doesn't have weird behaviors in some web forms. And the Two-factor auth integration it's really handy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would appreciate a more direct integration in chrome on MacOS. I have to use right-click, click 1password, and then click on autocomplete. I Safari it's more straightforward.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can use and store easily high secure passwords and have access to all my devices. I can even set Two-factor authentication in the app.

What do you like best about the product?
1Password is super easy to use, and it works on every device that I use! From every browser to the iPhone, the iPad... it even has some functions with the Apple Watch! so it's fully integrated into my ecosystem, I would recommend everyone to use it not only for business but for personal use!
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the auto-filling pop-up mixes with the native popup of Chrome trying to fill a form, and I can't open it properly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Now I forget about managing passwords, and also it's really useful for OTP codes!

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to access my sensible information from any device
What do you dislike about the product?
In the password screen, there is no way to come back to the login screen. This happened to me a lot of time as I use different 1passwords accounts
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In our company, we deal with a lot of passwords from different services and customers. With 1password we feel confident with our customers

Only password manager I am using for 10+ years

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Applications are crafted with attention to detail and feels very native on both MacOS and iOS. Watchtower is very useful feature to keep your accounts safe.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am satisfied with the product, I don't have anything.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I never was able to remember more than 1-2 passwords. And none of them was secure. When switching to 1password I forced myself to learn long and secure passphrase, 1password takes care of the rest.
This is especially true in company environment, when 1password helps us to have good password hygiene.

The best password manager.

What do you like best about the product?
1Password works across all popular platforms, even providing CLI access to the vaults. The software is very well integrated with Apple products.
The other major thing is the reputation of the 1passwords developers and their attitude towards security. The flawless service worths every paid penny.
What do you dislike about the product?
1password for Mac is sometimes slow on vaults with lots of entries.
There’s no easy way to create new items from phones on a new signups.
There’s no easy way to fill in passwords where website asks for some of the characters from the password (e.g. Nth and Mth).
No easy way to share a password with a member of a team (better ux needed).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keep the passwords unique for every website. Auto fill from browser (saves time to look up the secrets and fill in manually).
I think one of the features the 1password provides - looks up the passwords on the compromised websites, gives a great view on the number of passwords that has to be changed as soon as possible.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give the 1password a try even if you are using any other password managers. 1password is several miles away from other solutions. I won’t be disappointed.

Ease of use, combination desktop and web experience as well as mobile app makes it really easy for the team to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not found anything that I dislike in my experience with 1pass

Team password management, sharing of passwords with different vaults and team access, ability to easily create vaults for contractors and integration with 2-FA generators.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Go ahead and purchase it. easy to use, ease to administer, most importantly very easy to share and use for your team vault. Setup groups and vaults and they sort of run themselves.

Solid password manager that just works

  • December 16, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Fast and easy to use. Integrates well with all my browsers on the desktop: Chrome, Safari, Firefox. Always reliable, good synchronisation among our team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pasting in plain text form adds extra characters, needs to upload a file for a PEM certificate, that could be just a plain text copy-paste if it worked.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing secrets (passwords, keys) among the team members. Great that we can create separate teams.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Tried the the biggest competing product but it was riddled witch backend bugs. Didn't find any with 1Password after 1 year of use..

Good tool to ensure better handling of secrets across an organization

  • December 16, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Helps improve the way employees manage passwords within the organisation. You can monitor usage within the org, and adds a 2FA authentication layer (enabling the option to make it mandatory) protection for any employee account in that way.
What do you dislike about the product?
- Possibility of adding 2FA authentication tokens into it for different logins, in practice defeating the purpose of 2FA alltogether. There is no option to turn that feature off
- No way to monitor employees better, such being able to get alerts if they do not use it to store passwords for many company accounts. Would be good to be able to get a report of how many secrets/passwords each employee has stored in the private Vault.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- Improving company security. Trying to make employees handle secrets better / following best practices
- Sharing secrets among teams in a safe way, specially technical teams.
- When an employee leaves, we can see exactly what secrets were visible to the person, allowing us to rotate the necessary ones
