Easy to use password management tool with great browser extensions
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the way in which 1Password adds passwords from browsers when you log in for the first time with 1P browser extension installed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it takes a while to recognise my finger recognition on my mac.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Password security and it has stopped the re-using of passwords.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Allocate some time to set-it up and work through all of your logins and update the passwords for those whilst adding them in.
Using 1Password for keeping your secrets is a no-brainer
What do you like best about the product?
Simplicity, first-class support for mobile and web (via integrations), broad feature set, insight into unsafe practices and breaches, consistent evolution of the feature set.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some very minor UX quirks that are being worked on, lack of Google SSO.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1Password allows me to manage secrets across my whole team for our different projects, administer access with ease, and provides amazing insight into unsafe practices. Since adopting 1Password, we've dramatically increased our security practices, which has been steered by the guidance that 1Password provides.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's really a no-brainer to choose 1Password for administering your organisation's secrets. The setup process is simply, as is onboarding users, and along the way, 1Password is your guide to safe and secure practices. The integration with browsers is seamless and easy, navigating the app's user interface is so simple, and the attention to detail in putting together a product that is fit-for-purpose is really impressive. As a 1Password user, I always feel like the product is evolving to meet the needs of me and my team and increasing the value as its subscription pricing, as opposed to coasting by on being an established product.
If you're not using 1Password you should
What do you like best about the product?
I most appreciate the keyboard shortcut to active it, and that it's cross platform (works on iOS, macOS, Linux, Windows). The application and browser plugins are quite stable and don't crash.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly the only thing I can think of is setting up an account on a new computer is tricky because of the different my.1password.com domains (for different countries). If you can't find the setup pdf with all the right details it's difficult to setup. The irony is that my passwords and secure information is stored in 1Password but I can't get to it without unlocking my account.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Makes password sharing easy.
Makes more secure passwords easy.
Reduces friction in accessing online accounts.
Makes accessing passwords across multiple devices much easier.

It is the best password manager
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, effectively controls and evaluates passwords, I'm glad that the service can be installed on all platforms also has a plug-in for browsers, 1Password allows me to control my password on all my devices, just all I have to do is log in to the service. Their autofill function for applications that are mobile is always fast when I need to log in to different applications on my phone.
What do you dislike about the product?
I was not a fan on the learning curve. At the beginning it was a bit intimidating, as well as forcing the passwords in the application after forced modification.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1Password a offers a protected backup system as well as synchronization with databases in the cloud, so I will get my passwords even if my device is stolen.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
1Password offers a free plan, which allows you to check their services before selecting a plan.
1Password turned the least secure users into some of the most secure
What do you like best about the product?
1Password is easier to use than other solutions we have tried.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the mobile app, only because it is not intuitive to me which vault I am accessing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
People are using unique & random passwords on every site. Using it as 2FA on admin accounts.
Best option for managing multiple teams and enforcing compliance.
What do you like best about the product?
Shared vaults and granular permissions make this a great solution. Being on browser, desktop, all phones, means no one has any good reason not to use. The iOS usage and integration make this a no brainer compared to other options on the market. I use LastPass and have used SplashID, Dashlane etc previously, 1Password has the best UX so far for me and my team.
What do you dislike about the product?
OTP MFA support is kinda hidden and could be improved. Confusion over if the browser extension and desktop app are a shared secure credential or different when some team members install both.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Company compliance with secure passwords.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Most have a free option, try them all and decided on your needs.
1Password Review
What do you like best about the product?
Having both shared passwords with teammates and private credentials in the same place, on the same account. This is extremely helpful for someone like me who shares multiple logins with my team but also has numerous credentials of my own, and lots of my credentials are for accounts that are confidential or off-limits to others, like online banking.
Prompts at login to save new credentials. This saves time and minimizes my ability to create an account or change a password and then forget to record the new credentials (which I do a lot).

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the prompt at login to save new credentials doesn't appear and I have to manually click on the Chrome extension. This means starting the process of saving new credentials from scratch instead of saving them automatically, on the go, and with a couple of clicks. I have already missed some opportunities to save new credentials as a result.
Access times out fairly quickly. I find myself typing my master key into the prompt at login more times than I would like to. Though, I completely understand that the main concern of 1password is cyber security and it wouldn't be secure if the program didn't time out quickly. It just feels like a lot of extra steps when I am busy, as my master key (like everyone's, I'm sure) is pretty complicated.

As mentioned previously, it minimizes the risk of me making new credentials or updating credentials without recording them. It also stops me from forgetting passwords and losing time by resetting password, resaving them in Google Chrome, or not writing them down.
If a password changes for a shared account, everybody knows who needs to without the risk of someone not being informed and then changing the password again as a result of not being able to access the account.
It has made it very easy to follow my company's password policy, which requires me to have different passwords for every account that I have access to. Previously, I had some passwords saved in Chrome, some saved in Safari, some written down in my notebook, and half of them were wrong. None of this has been an issue since I started using 1password.

What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have any complaints! 1Password has greatly simplified our lives.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We track the IT passwords for our customers. This has solved the problem of tracking and if someone changes the password, we all have immediate access to the password. We can also give our customer's access, yet limit their ability to make changes. 1Password has been a complete game changer for us over the last 4 years.
Highly Recommend!
What do you like best about the product?
I feel like my passwords are very protected using 1 Password. I also like that it can be used across multiple people within our agency.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it's hard to remember my the long master password.. but that's what you need to keep everything safe so that's just a personal problem!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm realizing how weak many of my passwords were before. It also solves the problem of coworkers forgetting, changing, etc. passwords when they're shared across the agency.
Great password manager, changed my perspective on cybersecurity, UX could be improved
What do you like best about the product?
1Password as a product does what it advertises. It is extremely secure, the company doesn't keep its users' credentials and data on their servers, and it is relatively easy to set up and use on a daily basis. I like how it seamlessly integrates with my web and mobile experience, and has plenty of customizable settings for enhanced security. The Watchtower feature that alerts users about sites with security breaches provides an extra layer of security and peace-of-mind.
1Password is also great for teams. The shared vaults allows many working groups within our company to securely share logins, financial info, developer secret keys, and more. The Chrome extension and autofill is useful on a daily basis as well.

What do you dislike about the product?
1Password is bringing the complicated concept of cybersecurity to a wide user base - no small feat. The UX of the onboarding process could use more work, as most users are cross-platform and there are several apps / extensions required to make the most of 1Password. As a business and personal user, I am constantly switching between three accounts so having a better way of integrating would improve my workflow. 1Password allows users to log in to several accounts at once, but it still requires several steps to get there.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cybersecurity is a top-of-mind issue for personal use. For business, it changes how confidential and private information is shared across team members, and automates the process especially in a large organization to reduce IT overhead.
