One of the best things that happened to me in 2020
What do you like best about the product?
For the past three years, I had "Use a password manager" on my annual to-do list. So when Reuters started password management with 1Password, I jumped at the opportunity to incorporate it into my personal password process. Gone are the sticky (and virtual) notes with all of my sensitive data! And I finally have branched out from my all-to-usual/memorable passwords to powerful logins that will keep me and my family safe.
It's been the most challenging year to date personally and professionally. But 1Password has changed my life for the better. Thank you!

What do you dislike about the product?
It still takes some time to log in to the main account and then generate a new password. The process is not always as seamless as I would like it to be.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Problem solved: Using the same password over and over again!
Benefits: easy logins - also I love how the site stores my credit card data, although it's also a problem, because it makes online shopping easier.
If you decide to use my review, you can say journalist at major news organization or somesuch

Amazing organizational tool for both my company and myself
What do you like best about the product?
Vaults are very convenient for organizing shared login credentials for different teams. Usage reports are very helpful for measuring adoption. Watchtower notifies us if a company email was detected in a breach, even if no one saved their credentials for that website in 1Password.
Being an administrator, adding/removing people, recovering accounts, and controlling which employees have access to certain Vaults is very easy. I like how 1Password designed the recovery process to be very safe and secure since I need to both start and finish the process.
1Password recently added a new Customer Success Team which is very helpful and proactive at providing training materials, reviewing my needs, and helping solve some of our existing use-cases.

What do you dislike about the product?
The Google Chrome Extension is a little funky. I need more experience with it because it sometimes creates new login credential records for websites I already saved records for if it's the first time I'm visiting with the extension. However, I believe it was recently replaced by a newer version which I have yet to use. Some reports require a higher subscription to access.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating and managing shared logins is very convenient and easy with Vaults. Since 1Password is easy to use, our shared credentials are never saved in a random spreadsheet or passed around in one of our messaging apps. Newly onboarded team members can quickly gain access to the systems they need. 1Password also has their own YouTube channel that can be used for training new people.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
1Password has desktop and mobile-web apps but almost all admin capabilities are done in the browser app. Also research if their extensions would fit your personal use-cases.
Makes managing multiple secure passwords a breeze
What do you like best about the product?
Easily able to generate secure password and access it using the extension and shortcuts
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it would be easier to use autofill with 1password, like if there were sites on your whitelist - it is bothersome to try and checkout high demand ecommerce products but then realize autofill is set to 1password which relies on the master password first
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing multiple secure passwords for SOC2 certification for example
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely recommend using 1Password - its secure, smart, intuitive, and makes life a lot easier when you need to manage multiple unique passwords
Lifesaver in the corporate world
What do you like best about the product?
The granularity of assigning vaults and specific permissions available within the vaults. Additionally having SSO and SCIM saves a ton of time! I can't imagine using it at scale without this.
What do you dislike about the product?
When you provision a user and they activate their account it takes ~5 minutes for the account to auto approve. It would be great if this was quicker.
It would also be nice if there was a way to share a one time password similar to pwpush.com without having to create a new vault.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to give multiple people access to shared credentials and API keys in a secure way. Employees are more cognizant of sharing credentials and now add them to 1Password rather then saving them to Google Sheets / DMing them to each other.
A game changer for security & ease of use
What do you like best about the product?
The tool is easy to integrate with existing IAM providers via a SCIM bridge and support for imported groups, making for straightforward management.
Ease of use is very good, especially with the 1Password X extension for browsers and the recent upgrade for Safari on macOS. Being able to store pretty much anything in 1Password - logins, secure documents, etc., turns it from a basic password manager into a true repository for all confidential data that must be easily accessible from a wide variety of endpoints, but in a secure manner.
The team is always willing to discuss new feature ideas.
Linux support!

What do you dislike about the product?
The Windows UX/UI is not as nice as macOS. This is probably in part down to the general look & feel of macOS being more polished than Windows in general but there are a few usability differences between the Windows and macOS clients. For 90% of people who work on one OS only this will never be a problem, but for technologists who often switch between multiple platforms, it is a little jarring.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As an IT organization we needed a way to store all of our confidential data relating to systems access in a form that was secure and easy to manage. 1Password is a slam-dunk, and has increased our collaboration with other teams thanks to Shared Vaults.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Look no further, this is an excellent password management tool.
Easy to use and have assurance to securely store my credentials with 1Password.
What do you like best about the product?
Assurance that no one can read my credentials except myself.
What do you dislike about the product?
Creating new user must wait until the new user sign in, only then you can assign it to a team. Would be great if you can assign it to a team when you invite the user so you don't have to wait for a follow up from the user that he/she has accepted the invitation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Exchanging password with colleagues can be done easily and securely via 1Password.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Assurance that your credentials are for your-eyes only is the most critical feature in the product.
1Password Is All You Need
What do you like best about the product?
Super Easy. You can separate work and life within 1 application. Easy to set up and share information. Does more than just password storage.
What do you dislike about the product?
The automated provisioning doesn't give you a lot of flexibility. The fact that if your company uses SSO your passwords will be the same but there is no way to ignore the duplicate password notification.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Shared passwords across teams and family members. You can save files and share them easily between teams.
Easy to use, confidence inspiring.
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it integrates and unlocks with Touch ID on apple to provide quick access. I also like how it allows for private and team passwords.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would nice if the edit controls were in the same position between screens (it fluctuates between the top and bottom), but that's nit-picking.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reduces or eliminates reuse of common passwords offering a high level of security and reassurance,
Best password management ever
What do you like best about the product?
How easy it is to use, never experienced any glitches or errors in using it
What do you dislike about the product?
Seems a little expensive but the value is clearly there!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
So much easier to keep my passwords stored safely
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is much better than LastPass
Great product, powerful and useful.
What do you like best about the product?
1PW is a dependable, super-convenient cross-platform, password manager. Can't really live without it these days. I can use it at work and home, and sign in on any number of devices. It has a ton of storage and works on basically every OS and platform out there. There's even a travel mode for securely passing dodgy borders and ability to create different secure enclaves for different aspects of work, or individuals.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not a lot. It makes you realise how big your online attack surface is. It is occasionally a pain to pick out the exact password you need once you have thousands in there, but if you are careful about adding the site and other metadata this isn't much of a problem. Before 1Password had their own cloud storage it was a pain to sync across OSs but this is now fixed
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have unique passwords for every site I visit, so a breach in one place isn't the crisis it could well otherwise be. It's also super useful for storing important information, passport numbers, bank accounts, that sort of thing. As an admin, I can provision different password vaults for different team members and also have the ability to reset accounts if things go really bad. I can also ensure that my team aren't using weak passwords (super valuable) and identify breaches in sites that my team have accounts with. Taken together this is really a great enterprise security product, in some ways it becomes the cornerstone of digital security at an org.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you watch the videos and have a play around with the advanced features to make your life easier. Make a dummy account that has no secure information in it and learn to wipe, restore, and reset. Be sure to install it on a variety of platforms to ensure you understand the set-up and deletion procedures and make sure that you really get to know the abilities of the product with respect to all the different types of data it can hold in different ways. Ensure that your team understand the integrations with browser and particularly mobile operating systems.
