The app you didn’t think you need
What do you like best about the product?
1Password doesn’t get in the way, it sits there and wait for your commands.
And when you start giving out commands, it is always helpful. A top app!

What do you dislike about the product?
Well, if there would be one thing to note, it would be the fact that — sometimes — I have to disable and re-enable 1Password in Safari *after an update*, as it can get stuck.
However I don’t know if it’s a bug in Catalina or — less probable — in 1Password. So it should be something that I dislike with an asterisk.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I’m trying to use unique, random passwords for each website.
As a result, I have achieved a lower attack surface in my online doings.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give it a try. You don’t know what you’re missing out!
A solution to improve safety
What do you like best about the product?
It's possible to have all of the passwords in one spot, though it's also good to do it with a little help of the spreadsheet. But the thing that makes passwords irreplaceable is the encryption of yours and security issues. The ability to generate passwords is incredibly beneficial and the auto filling functionality can be purchased on nearly every page I've visited.
What do you dislike about the product?
This's not the best program there is. What is more logging in together isn't an alternative, and the icons aren't all there.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Well, I never forget the passwords of mine, so that is great, though I have blocked dozens of uses and programs that I used at work. Besides, I've a much better and more powerful password than the one I produced myself.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
In the event you do not wish to be worried about the monthly fee, think about an one time fee. The customer care is excellent and will guide you through the bumpy road of product use. It really solves more problems that it generates. Worth a try.
1Password saves me time every day!
What do you like best about the product?
1Password enables quick access to my passwords are on all my devices, (my iPhone, iPad and computer). As an IT director, I have to log in to many sites a day and 1Password makes it so easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would appreciate if in the "memorable" recipe type, there was an option to enable a capital and a number for sites that require those. Usually, I do just edit the password before pre-filling, but since most sites (unfortunately) require this, it would make it easier to get around this requirement. Thanks!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing passwords with co-workers.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Put as much in to 1Password as you can. The more you have in 1Password, the more valuable it can be to you!
Great product and efficient + friendly support!
What do you like best about the product?
The tool is very clear and not confusing. It has all the features you need. The support is super fast, super friendly and super fair. :)
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to dislike. All features work as intended.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One place for all password, sharing passwords and sensitive data within the team.
Pinpointed and Timely Support
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use, top notch security and its support team
What do you dislike about the product?
It does not always pick up website automatically
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Removal of old account that had been frozen
Good idea, but terrible usability
What do you like best about the product?
Secure way to store passwords, OTPs and to share credentials in a company
What do you dislike about the product?
The usability is quite bad, too many clicks are required to do anything. The Firefox browser extension keeps opening new tabs when I want to do anything, disrupting my work completely. When I try to move items between vaults, it just says "Moved 0 items" and doesn't explain why it wasn't possible. I only use this product because it's my company standard. I think other products are much better, I use an open source & free one personally.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storing passwords securely in my company.
Best Customer Support I've Received in Years
What do you like best about the product?
1Password consistently has some of the best customer services I’ve ever experienced. It makes it easy to share my love of the product. I recently walked my 71-year-old mother through how to use 1Password and although it wasn’t easy it was MUCH easier than I expected and that wouldn’t be true if not for a lot of hard work on the part of the 1password team.
As I strive to build products (ReallyGoodEmails.com) I look to companies like theirs for an example.

What do you dislike about the product?
I think it's a complex system. Not needing passwords at all would be preferred! ha.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Password saving and security.
Great product; enough features to be useful without overcomplicating things.
What do you like best about the product?
The UI is very simple and intuitive even for non-technical users. I see the main benefit in the ability to generate secure, random, and unique passwords, and then store them securely, and share them with team members. The Watchtower feature which detects weak or reused passwords, and integrates with HaveIBeenPwned, is very nice. Automatically storing password histories and who changed a password makes it easy to audit what happened when, and recover from mistakes. 1Password gets a lot right, and makes it easy to do the right thing with password security.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that as a Team admin, I could customise more of the workings of the tool. It would be great to be able to set a custom idle log-out time for the web app, so that on trusted PCs, the web app doesn't log out a user so quickly. Being able to set a default complexity for the random password generator would be great, as then people would not have to manually change any settings to generate passwords which complied with the company's password rules for length and character choices.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a team of around 50 people in IT who need to securely manage more than 2,000 passwords for important systems. Shared vaults in 1Password makes this easy, and thus avoids people storing passwords in text files on their Desktops! The Watchtower feature ensures that people on the team don't get sloppy and reuse passwords, or choose insecure passwords, and this helps us meet the company's security policies.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Get on board as soon as possible to avoid the growth of unmanaged, and insecure password storage for teams. When setting up a new system or landscape, if the team doesn't have a tool like 1Password from Day 1, the risk is that they will take shortcuts such as password patterns, "master passwords" used everywhere, or writing things down in a spreadsheet. It's much harder to reverse bad behaviour, than it is to get it right from Day 1.
Encourage your teams to use the "personal vault" feature for their own work-related passwords, too. That way their own individual passwords are also secured, and not just "shared" credentials which more than one person must have access to (e.g. API credentials, database users, etc.).
Use 1Password to store files which are important, and somewhat secret, such as license keys, certifications from auditors, etc.
Behaviour change is most important - even IT professionals often have very bad "password hygiene" and are prone to insecure behaviour for managing credentials. The easier you make it for them to do the right thing, the better.
Use Watchtower to find passwords that have been compromised, or are insufficiently strong.

Useful Security Tool for Modern Internet Era
What do you like best about the product?
Manage passwords and other secrets without the risk to lose them when accidents happened
Brilliant design which makes it difficult enough to obtain your stored secrets
Also a great tool for a family and a small organization

Essential 1Password
What do you like best about the product?
With so many passwords, a manager is a must. 1 Password, despite small annoyances, is the best and most useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Mini app is a bit slow to load and synchronization via cloud sometimes takes an inordinate amount of time (hours/days)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Benefits? It's all good.
