Great at home, great at work!

What do you like best about the product?
Takes your security seriously. Gets out of your way otherwise.
What do you dislike about the product?
system integration is better than it was, but there are still some rough edges vs. browser or OS built-in password management. But the synchronization is worthwhile.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking my own secrets across devices. Securely sharing secrets across teams.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Don't miss the CLI for integration!

What do you like best about the product?
I have been using 1Password for years. Granted, it takes a little bit of time to set up, but it is well worth it! Since implementing 1Password, I have never had my security compromised, and know my accounts are safe. I highly recommend it!
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes a little time to set up, but that's okay with the amount of security I get from it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have trust and operating accounts that I know cannot be compromised. I used to use one single password for most of my accounts (really stupid), but got rid of it years ago. Each of my accounts is now safe with a different password that is very, very lengthy and different. Now, I get occasional emails from some obscure person saying they know my password and to send them money. They actually list it and it's the old, single password that I used to use! I laugh and ignore them because I know I am secure with my current passwords.

Using 1Password WILL make you safer online.

What do you like best about the product?
I've been a satisfied user of 1Password for my family and business for more than 5 years. I've been part of the Betas, testing 1Password for Teams (what eventually became the "Families" and "Business" offerings) and have seen the inner workings.

1Password makes doing the right thing (cybersecurity hygiene) easy to do.

It's a successful, secure product made by good people.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes some time to get used to how to save and access passwords with 1Password (In particular, creating a new account on mobile), but recent iOS releases have made integrating with 1Password much easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1Password helps me generate strong, unique passwords for all of the accounts that I have to manage.
I started using a password manager when I first began doing Alliance Management—Too many different passwords for too many different portals.

I had a choice:

1. Give them all the same password.
2. Get something else to manage them.

I chose option 2 and have never looked back.

1Password keeps all of my information secure, and safely accessible by only the people that I want to share it will. I have accounts for the business to share important passwords with other team members, and for my family to share all of the accounts required to manage a family: banks, school, insurance, etc.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Don't wait. You need a password manager. This is the best.

Good to keep track of your passwords.

What do you like best about the product?
Simplify password management. If I have multiple internet accounts and need to use various passwords, I don't remember them all, so 1Password helps me to manage so synchronize passwords to all of my pages (and other login methods) with my portable devices and all the other desktop computers, independently of platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
This would be good if you could always enter the password, even though using a combination of iOS keyboard and macro keys you don't have to switch between different applications because there are apps that don't accept password input from others.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1Password contains and stores information in one location randomly, without any irritating, self-destructive notes  that could lead people to death.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give your friends and family members a try to do it again. There will be no easier way to get your password shared.

The Easiest & Most Secure Way I've Yet Found For Managing Almost 1000 Passwords.

What do you like best about the product?
I can use separate and strong passwords for all my logins without having to remember them.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much - for the most part it just works. I would like more clarity around why it's so secure. I did the research to understand it myself (basically the risk of your personal vault password being targeted and revealed is orders of magnitude less than the risk of using the same password across your Amazon, eBay, and online banking accounts when hackers are actively trying to gain access to those databases all the time), but when I recommend it to friends and family their first objection is still "but if someone cracks your vault password they gain access to everything." Which is highly unlikely, but still true. So anything that helps to allay that fear would be good.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I love that it's cross-platform, and especially that it uses touch-ID for fast access on iPhone. It's also really good at keeping track of email addresses and passwords you've used previously and flagging if these have been compromised, or highlighting whenever a company's passwords have been hacked and need to be updated.

Secure password manager

  • May 11, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
1Password provides the best degree of protection by generating secure passwords so the individual programs / applications do not need to be recalled. 1Password works for both Windows and Mac programs, and can be used in the web browser, making it easy to use as you go.
What do you dislike about the product?
I still don't know how to change the sort of item that you rescued if self-preservation went bad or my brain got confused a little bit.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I recalled how fragile we are after hacking the websites of my colleagues, so did a lot of work on information security for one post. Studies I find that many small companies are still using poor passwords for all their connections.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It fits well on machines running Apple OS or simply Microsoft's Windows , making it a good option for the office of mixed tools. While not supporting Linux, it will work really well on WINE.

Long time user of 1Password - can't understand why everyone doesn't use it

What do you like best about the product?
I love that it's stable - multi-platform (I have on 2 Macs, an iPhone, and an iPad. It's amazingly stable - and constantly updated.
What do you dislike about the product?
hmmmmm........AHHHH - now I remember - when I am logging into an account the first time (let's say a Salesforce Instance), when it saves the URL, it save the whole thing, so if I click Auto-Fill - it has change the URL I'm on and forced te to the Create A Password screen again. It's a pain, but rather trivial.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
System generated passwords that I don't have to keep track of and when I update them on the account - 1Password catches it and ask if I want to update in 1Password. I used to use 1 or 2 different passwords for everything - and I'm finally doing a much better job of protecting my identity and accounts, thanks to 1Password.

Awesome product

What do you like best about the product?
The intuitive interface is phenomenally good. Features are neat, compact, and easy to use. Excellent security, great thought has gone into this password manager. I would recommend it above and beyond any other product.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally, the web plugin opens the full app, and fails to fill in the form I'm on. I have to repeat, sometimes a couple of times, to get it to interact with the page.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Shared administrative third-party accounts, certificates, and keys. 1Password has a great team workflow, and allows you to create arbitrary groups and vaults to share with specific roles and groups.

Great product, more important now than ever

What do you like best about the product?
ease of use, suggested passwords, works seamlessly across all my devices, alerts me when passwords are weak or reused.
What do you dislike about the product?
if not paying attention when changing a password, it is easy to create a duplicate password rather than updating an existing one.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With online data security more important than ever, 1Password allows me to use a different passwords for each program without having to remember them or unsafely write them down.

Glad I chose 1password among other password managers

What do you like best about the product?
I love it. Been using it for the last 6 months and never ran into any bugs or issues, It simply works. Kudos to the Engineering, QA and design team. There are only few products that reduce the friction between user and the problem and 1password is one of them. Also as a designer I can assure that the product is well designed on all the platforms. I was worried about the security and privacy of a password manager in general but their overall design and the experience made me feel more secure and I don't worry about it now. Also I really love the simple touch of skeuomorphism in branding as well as product design. Simply beautiful!
What do you dislike about the product?
TBH nothing much.I switched from Safari to 1Password so there wasn't any way to import saved passwords from Apple Keychain, but I guess it's a restriction from Apple side. I haven't ran into any bugs, issues yet and never needed to contact their support so can't comment on their support service. A
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storing and managing password. Using digital products and memorising password on each of the service was a hassle I faced and after choosing to use 1Password, digital life is much more simpler and awesome. You just have to memorise "1" password.
