Easy to use, great tools
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to invoice customers, easy to use. Great all round tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing in particular, I like the effiency of using Xero
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves the problem of having too many different applications. Invoicing and incomings and outgoings are stored in one place.

XERO NEED TO GIVT CLARITY TO VENDOR LEDGER WHEN A USER NEED TO GENERATE STATEMENT OF ACCOUNTS IT SEEM TO BE A CLARITY
Simple step in and work type of software
What do you like best about the product?
The algorithm to reconcile bank and credit card accounts works great, invoice creation is simple and the reporting has always stood out to me.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of anything I dislike, it's an incredibly great tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking the business account and its expenses is done so conveniently and the reports are used to review financials to understand the current position.
Affordable Accounting Software
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to use, not much complexed. Gives visibility to everyone as the data is on cloud. We migrated our data from quickbooks to xero and it was quite easy to do so
What do you dislike about the product?
Their support is bit slow. If possible please have 24x7 support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is a great accounting software, quite affordable too. Provides on time data visibility to everyone
Great Accounting Alternative Platform
What do you like best about the product?
The affordability compared to other Accounting Platforms. Pretty easy to use and implementing the existing data was pretty straight forward. I use it every day for my own business while also using it for my other clients. There are many features that are very similar to Quickbooks Online Plus. Pretty easy to integrate a payment processing platform that I use called Melio Payments.
What do you dislike about the product?
the biggest dislike is the bank feeds. It doesn't take all bank types unlike Quickbooks. It is sometime very hard to get clients to switch over because of this. One of my clients who I got onboard to use Xero. I have to constantly manually enter or import bank transactions which is very very time consuming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Finding an affordable accounting platform for new real estate investors.
Xero - User-friendly interface for accounting
What do you like best about the product?
It's user-friendly and cost effective. Cash coding facility makes entering bulk transactions in one go. Rules creations, report extraction, journal entry posting, sales and purchase recording got simpler with Xero.
What do you dislike about the product?
Reconciliation reports should be locked to prevent further charges, Transaction list by vendor report is not available similar to QBO, transfer entries are not searchable in find and record tab.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy to learn and work efficiently, Less chance of errors and errors are easily tracable, Various reports available according to needs of the business, multiple users can access with single id.
Good for basic businesses but consider looking elsewhere with more complexity

Easy to understand UX and UI, basic templates present

Need other tools for consolidation, invoicing, etc. when there is more complexity

It is our core accounting software
Now overpriced and not worth the money

Xero used to be a good bookkeepping package - clean, simple and straightforward. I could correct client's records really easy
What do you dislike about the product?
Xero keeps introducing half baked beta "improvements" that need more clicks and have less functionality than was originally there (or all the competitoirs have). They also keep increasing their prices - from September 2024 they will be an overpriced software. i am now lloking for alternatives and will move any client that complains about Xero's price increases. Enough is enough!

Xero used to be a good intergrated accounts package - linking your bank account to their software but after the September 2024 price increase it will be too expensive and not worth it
Great software
What do you like best about the product?
Xero makes it very easy to use this software. For accounting and invoicing. This is number one related software at our practice.

I have zero complaints as of now. Everything has been working smoothly

Reconciling account transactions
Expect constant large price rises and features removed

It's fairly well designed and easy-to-use software but it's not worth the very high price anymore

Last few years there have been price rises every year, at least 5-10%. Some years there have been two! Meanwhile, very little actual product improvement happens. The user interface gets little refreshes but long-standing bugs are not fixed and long-standing feature requests are not implemented.
Now (from 1st July 2024), they have removed payroll completly from the starter plan, so you have to go on to a plan that costs (quite literally) more than double to retian it. Same story for the higher plans, the number of payroll users has halved so you have to go on to a much more expensive plan to get what you have before. They claim "most features get more for what they pay" but seems to me every teir has only had features removed, as well as a 10% increase,

I need accounting software and Xero is accounting software! Just unfortunately it's not good value anymore for what you get.
