  • March 14, 2018
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
1) The ease of use and learning material available to learn the technology.
2) The blue prism provided Objects and inbuilt functionalities.
3) Easy to install and infrastructure set up.
4) Bule prims support and knowledge center provides lots of help.
5) 100 % accuracy can be achieved if you develop the code/Flow as required and rulesets are decoded properly.
6) You don't need the coding skills of any particular language like Java to be master in BP.
7) It easy to discuss the BP terminology with business users as they like the code which is represented the flow chart.
What do you dislike about the product?
1) OCR and surface automation still needs a lot of work. These features make the process fail unless handled and developed very carefully.
2)Connectivity issues between the app server and runtime machines.
3) there should be some way to capture the screenshot in case of runtime machine see any issue and bot fails to proceed.
4) Official Blue Prism training and certification is hard to get. Until you are not working with one of the blue prism's business partner its hard to get the training and Blue prism portal access.
5) BP does not work on MAC and I seriously hate BP for that.
6) BP doe does not support browser other than IE.
7) I am not directly impacted with this but I am aware that BP license is very costly and sometimes few organization just hesitate to migrate just by looking into the cost.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are working on automating processes for the different line of businesses. For all the LOBs the agenda is same that automate the processes which do not need much human intelligence and which are driven by the ruleset. We have succeeded in few and we have seen better performance and cost saving and reliability.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I will highly recommend this tool if you are looking for automating the processes and you need to save money and save you manual power for better or creative jobs.

  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
1) Blue Prism RPA tool is best for any kind of users. You need not to be a hardcore programmer to work on automation through Blue Prism.
2) The core architecture is very simple and it easy to build and maintain the infrastructure required for Blue Prism.
3) Blue prism portal is very well maintained and their knowledge center has answers to almost all the queries you have in your mind.
4) Utility and in build functionalities provided by BP works like a charm.
What do you dislike about the product?
1) Surface automation is still in very early stage and it hurts when process fails due to screen resolution issues.
2) Some time scheduler and Queues does not show in UI after .bp file import and same time it does not let me create new queues with same name.
3) No code repository to maintain the versions of code.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are working on automating many manual processes with repeated steps and which actually work on fixed rule set criteria and need minimal human intelligence. The benefit we get is more accuracy, high reliability, reduced cost and in last we can use manpower to other creative jobs.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Yes, I will highly recommend blue prism as a automation tool to organisations for saving the money and get more accuracy in the repeated jobs where human intelligence is least required. I will this tool for my friends who wants be in IT industry but scare from hard core programming.
