Great tool for api documentation and running
What do you like best about the product?
We can document all the api and at the same time we can directly run those api

A bit complex to setup and sometimes face issue depending upon the backend technology used

Good api documentation helps team a lot and avoiding the need of postman
It displays documentation...with a little work.
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it is free and relatively easy to share with others.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes a bit of finagling to get set up properly. I think it would work well if you had the staff to support keeping this up to date.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing what endpoints are available for a given app. Quite frankly, still waiting on benefits from it. It might have not been worth the effort.

Free trial with access to lots of open documented apis

The design is sure not intuitive and sometimes take hours to search for what I need

I have looked around swaggerHub for open apis to support projects in my organisation

Its a great library to get you started and let you scale as well. you can start learning with small apis and take it to the next level in no time.

It really helped me to design api that can be easy to explain the stake holders who are going to consume or review it.
It had a feature of auto generation of code that helps to get started really quickly.

What do you dislike about the product?
One of the downside which I have seen that the generated code what we get from swaager hub can be more optimized and people using it never focus much on basics of api design as they usually auto generate the code.

Code consitency and easily understand the feature of each end point and modal.

We're still evaluating SmartBear, primarily Swaggerhub.
- SmartBear Inspector seems very handy to translate our API into OAS definitions
- Swaggerhub user experience is simple, documentation is sufficient
- 14-day trial is helpful, longer trial period , e.g 30-day would be better for slow moving organizations

What do you dislike about the product?
- We would like to start using OAS 3 but the limited support of integration options ( compared to OAS 2) within Swaggerhub is a hurdle.
- We also need to translate API definitions created with older Swagger specification (v. 1.2) . Not much help from Swaggerhub with that. Using the inspector might help a little, but that seems to have trouble handling multiple call history

Great Product
What do you like best about the product?
Great product for sharing and generating API's. Immediately formats the API for you, and makes generating the client and server just a matter of typing a few words
What do you dislike about the product?
Too syntax parsing specific, a space off and there is an error. In addition, the error is usually off and not so informative, and while I understand providing informative specific errors is a challenge, oftentimes the error defaults to "line 1".

We generated an API for our platform and shared the API with our consumers via Swaggerhub. It makes consolidation and communication frictionless.
