SwaggeHubr: The best API Test and Integration Platforms for Developers
What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility and usage that SwaggerHub provides in terms of using and implementing APIs and Documentation are really out of the box. In terms of creating APIs using different Frameworks such as Django, Laravel, NodeJs, and so on, one needs to consistently use and test various APIs for building a flawless system where SwaggerHub adds another dimension. While creating and testing APIs using JSON and text objects, we can integrate SwaggerHub as per our requirements with the system and the framework. For example, if we want to create a post API, we can give the query params and different data payloads as per the API requirement. Nevertheless, we can manage, sort, and retain different APIs according to multiple projects and apps in the SwaggerHub to ease API testing and integration. Again, the authentication and authorization process while creating headers and login/ logout workflow can be easily managed with only one click using the SwaggerHub's login and add headers panel. In addition, I can add custom JSON and text objects as per the API payload and show different errors that can break the system while testing using SwaggerHub, which is simply an excellent feature, in my opinion.
What do you dislike about the product?
The integration of SwaggerHub with the project at the first glimpse is very troublesome and time-consuming, which can hamper productivity in terms of Software Development. For example, integrating SwaggerHub with a Django project requires installing other packages while adding certain constraints and settings in the project file, which is very monotonous and annoying. However, for large projects, swagger takes a certain period to reload, which hampers productivity. For example, while continuously developing a system, we need to refresh and regularly reload the SwaggerHub page to cress-verify updates where a slow reload can hamper the development process. Again, on each reload, SwaggerHub loses the previously loaded headers in the API, which is also another constrain.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a Software Engineer, I continuously have to implement different APIs and integrate them as per the company's requirements. Again, I need to cross-check and verify each of the APIs and prove them to be flawless; I need to check the inputs and outputs, which in turn require a third-party tool. SwaggerHub is the only tool that meets all my requirements and gives me the benefits of integrating and using my developed APIs. Again, as a dedicated and enthusiastic person, I maintain proper documentation for each APIs that I make. For this, SwaggerHub is the same companion for me, which gives the benefits of integration and documentation both at the same time. Again, SwaggerHub continuously checks the input JSON and adequately formats the output JSON, and provides critical errors that might occur, which is the best tool for implementing APIs.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend every Software Engineer, including Backend, Frontend, and Full-Stack Developers, to use SwaggerHub to implement, integrate, and document their systems and software. Moreover, while working on teams, SwaggerHub gives the best benefits of using its APIs on people from other groups. Again, I would recommend every team leader and developer to at least use SwaggerHub once so that they can make the most out of it and gain the highest level of productivity. Nevertheless, I would recommend higher management, and officials use SwaggerHub to cross-check and fix any bugs in terms of needs. For non-technical persons, SwaggerHub gives the most benefits as it works as a black box where they don't need to know what's happening inside instead of focusing on the outer part. Thus it can make the best use of their knowledge and productivity.

User interface of swagger hub is good for beginner to start with.

It is bit hard to find the docs of swagger.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use swagger to record all the API and it makes it better for the frontend folks to understand the API structure.

What do you like best about the product?
The best part is we can prepare the swagger document for all the CRUD methods and share the swagger document to other developers and they know how to use different APIs

Right now it can be prepared in json and yaml , may be we can have them to write in any language like python and javascript

We are developing APIs using swaggerhub and share the document with client or developers to finalize the contract between front end and backend

It can be a little hard to figure out at first, but once you get past the learning curve, it is a fantastic tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows you to point a front end to a dummy API so you can work on both the front and backend simultaneously.

What do you dislike about the product?
• Not exactly API first approach - we first have to define RestController and its methods. We need to refactor our code if we decide to switch to other programming languages at the beginning of our journey. With YAML, there is no such problem
• Documentation is split across many classes - no single point of truth
• Not so many examples of how to define something with annotations - there are more examples with yamls
• Methods with hundreds of annotations can be very verbose (thankfully, we can move OpenAPI's annotations to the interface)

Best tool to create and maintain API's
What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity and clarity swaggerHub provides is one of the best in market. All teams involved in project can easily use the API's. Documentation is right to point and can be easily used to test. Pricing is very reasonable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Integration could have been better with multiple 3rd parties. Deployment is buggy sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It provides a single location to maintain API's with detailed documentation guidelines so that nothing gets missed while documenting. Hosting and Usage is also really easy from any browser. User-friendly and neat interactive UI makes it easier to use it. We have been hosting our API documentation on swagger and this has helped us improve the overall productivity during testing the API's

Its interface has a fairly simple and straightforward design which greatly facilitates its use and management at all times, the fact that it allows me to document my developments in a very simple and fast way makes it an excellent option to streamline a large quantity of tasks related to the documentation of the software and the creation of technical development reports, its performance and operation is quite good which allows me a quite functional use at all times, the fact that it allows simultaneous collaboration with all members of the Team work without the system collapsing or slowing down is a pretty good thing, especially because it helps us reduce time and finish our project in the projected deadlines.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have any, everything seems to me to have worked quite well with this app.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Most of all, I have been using it to document the code of the APIs that we develop in such a way that the entire development team can be aware of the changes and configurations made in the application in a fairly easy, simple and simple way but above all, accessible to all members of the development team.

1. UI can be more intuitive, Sometimes found it challenging while searching for different buttons.
2. It should support more HTTP method like PATCH etc

1. Solved team collaboration between front end and backend team as it became seamless with shared API contracts.
2. It became easy for tech support teams to help clients with the debugging issues at their end due to provided API mocks of different APIs.

I would highly recommend swagger hub to the teams who are following agile and have microservices architecture in place or planning to reach there.
It's a unique endeavor, but I recommend the Swagger Hub with the rest in mind
What do you like best about the product?
The documentation that comes with the demo is the best I recommend for Swagger Hub. Swagger Hub provides several methods for integrating with applications such as JSON. A notable thing is that the weight of OAuth processing is enormous because it can provide OAuth credentials for the entire application and individual requests, as an API user, it depends on who desperately requires this feature.

I think the design of the Swagger Hub should always be difficult as a new user and should be improved. It requires proper training for users, which means training
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Knowing the model and the actual demo is where swaggerHub is recommended. I mainly use swagger hub for API documentation. As your application grows in size, it can be difficult to deal with the API documentation, so you could easily introduce each other using the swagger hub from scratch. Understand the flow of developers and applications.
