Search is good but supports super bad

What do you like best about the product?
Search is good but supports super bad. Support cannot answer about their support code, which is showing in their docs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Support replies are super bad. My two clients wasted time and money. The search was not live, and algolia charged.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The search is reasonable.

Fast and easy search

What do you like best about the product?
Algolia's solution was simple to implement and start supplying our products. The available customization options allowed us to provide customers with accurate results more often.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is very little that I don't like about this solution. My biggest complaint would be that some significant changes require significant work to upgrade, but the continued support for existing workflows makes that a minor issue for us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Writing custom search is a difficult task. It takes a lot of development hours and, even then, covering edge cases can be difficult. Algolia allows us to be responsive to the needs of our customers and our staff.

Sign up for the free tier and try it out. Be sure to check out their documentation to see the numerous examples they offer.

Algolia is a must-have for ecommerce brands

What do you like best about the product?
I like that the Algolia interface is intuitive. I was able to pick it up pretty quickly. I also love how extensive the help center is. I can find the answer to almost any question I have.
What do you dislike about the product?
Implementation can be pretty technical, especially for mid-to-large ecommerce brands. For example, enabling click and conversion events require editing the code. That's not ideal for most users who want to get up and running fast.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before using Algolia, our search results were inaccurate at best and infuriating at worst. Thanks to Algolia, our customers can find the products that they need very quickly.

What do you like best about the product?
It is very easy to Integration, and the APIs are FAST with good customization options.
What do you dislike about the product?
A sandbox for work in a local/dev environment that would not affect the production usage quota would be great if available. Currently, all usages get added up in the same quota.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am getting super fast search Results for an e-commerce site. The over developing time for implementing a search

What do you like best about the product?
it's swift, robust and equipped with intelligent tools
What do you dislike about the product?
It becomes a bit costy if I integrate a real-time search suggestions as the user typing
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Many problems, but Algolia shines with the full-text search in a Non-SQL databases; however, I realized that the service has some excellent tools that made me think to use it with all my future projects.

Use Algoia if you are looking for a fast and intelligent search tool

What do you like best about the product?
The clean UI of the dashboard, easy setup.
What do you dislike about the product?
Getting charged for making simple operations on an index.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In the past projects, I have used it to search questions in the android learning app for students. In the future, I am willing to add searching for tasks using keywords on our work marketplace.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you want to quickly implement a search feature in your app or website Algolia is the way to go.

What do you like best about the product?
The search performances are stunning!!!!
What do you dislike about the product?
There are lot of users that would like to use algolia for booking services in a certain geographical position.
Problem is that there's no way to filter the results by their date availability.
Algolia doesn't support this use case and it is suggesting to use another database for this purpose.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having a production ready search. We manage to add it to our product in a couple of days.

What do you like best about the product?
The possibility of all coded or even by plugging it into your PLC system.
The almost infinite possibilities are offered by the software to have a result as close as possible to reality.
The fact that a sales representative from Algolia came to explain to us in more detail the possibilities and the functioning of the software (even if it would have been preferable for a technique from Algolia to explain the possibilities of the API).

The possibility of testing the paid features for a while is also a plus, however if I would have known the complexity of use via API, I might have waited before being able to take advantage of this offer (an informational text is not available). would not be too much).
What do you dislike about the product?
The documentation is unstructured. For a developer who wants to use your solution from A to Z, the documentation is too exhaustive and focuses more on the points that can be proposed by the Agoraio development team

The integration complexity of an interface preferred for research which is not documented or if it is it is very difficult to find it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I could group all my content which is managed from the front on a database which then allows me to do relevant research.
In addition, the fact of using Algolia and better understanding it opens doors for us to use it for our future customers, whether for E-commerce or research in very dense documentation.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Algolia is a really complete solution that offers a lot of ways to use search. However, if you are developer and only work on a front-end environment, take the time to fully understand the API system and the subtleties blocking specific points.

What do you like best about the product?
Simple API, which is quick and easy to pick up. Adding items to Indices and is instantly available for search. Having the ability to update single values in the object allows for quick safer updates. Support staff are friendly and knowledgeable, which is always a bonus. The API has a very powerful query language which makes it much simplier to build up the right results which are relevant to the area which I am trying to get the user to focus.

Being able to see what users have searched for is a big plus area for us. We can use this data to better refine our data and see areas which our supporters are showing interest in. This in turn helps improve user engagement.
What do you dislike about the product?
When making changes in the dashboard, it is possible to update based on a previous version of the object. You need to ensure manually that the object is at the latest version before editing. While this has caught me out a couple of times overall, there is not much to dislike about the service.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I needed to add search to an in-house donation platform, plus give aggregated data to the user quickly and efficiently. As I built up the platform's integration to Algolia, the benefits became more and more evident.

Since the first implementation, we are now looking at expaning the usage to our main website and importing our articles for searching and generating results for related content. We have been able to identify that by using Algolias machine language learning on our data will vastly improve site visitor engagement.
