Super easy to implement; super fast search responses
What do you like best about the product?
We had search up on our site within 48 hours and most of that time was figuring out what we wanted to make searchable and how to then sync it to Algolia. The search functionality is super fast and shows similar results when search parameters are a few characters off.
What do you dislike about the product?
Analytics data is limited to 7 days on the base plan.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Basic search on our website. It's helped us see content that our users are looking for which we do not have on our site. We added an entire new type of content based on "not found" analytics data from Algolia.

Rock solid blazing fast managed search solution.
What do you like best about the product?
Blazing fast speed and highly reliable. We out performed our competition with exceptional search. No exaggeration.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing model can be a bit better. They should try to use AWS model.

Offering the customers to search thousands of grocery products.

What do you like best about the product?
The product is very powerful and well documented for integrating into our platform. We have been really happy with how well their APIs are documented. Our users are distributed globally so it is amazing to have the power to quickly and easily distribute our search resources to many regions for faster latency.
What do you dislike about the product?
We haven't found anything big enough to warrant dislike of the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We need fast, accurate search results for use in our content apps and filtering capabilities. We have quickly solved many problems we were trying to custom write code for by moving to Algolia.

Always make sure to do your homework when reviewing potential vendors! Algolia's product and support team are wonderful to work with and answer any questions you have before you purchase or after

What do you like best about the product?
I have built searches on lucene/solr/elasticsearch myself, but algolia has simplified everything for me and saved time for other stuff.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing ate this moment. The price is a little bit high if you consider the exchange rate for brazil, but the service worth it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I needed a very fast search for a youtuber marketplace. So the instant search page/feature worked like a charm.

Super fast Turnkey Search
What do you like best about the product?
Algolia is one of the fastest searches out there. It's better than any defaults that come in a CMS. I've replaced our search defaults on Zendesk, Shopify, and Wordpress with Algolia. Generally, the search accurately delivers the results indexed for the queries without much effort from our dev team. The instant search is a wonderful user experience for customers on our site that involved minimal development work on our side. The system keeps search records up to date without our team having to spend a lot of time maintaining or managing the service. Honestly, it's one of those softwares that just work and you don't have to think much about. Their team does a great job of offering the best search software out there.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's easy for non-developer team members to add synonyms but the query rules/parameters require a bit more development knowledge which limits our team a bit in implementing customizations on the search.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We originally had a search vendor that delivered accurate results but was expensive and did not deliver results quickly to the user. Algolia delivers results accurately and quickly to users at a lower cost than we were paying with our old provider.

We are using Algolia mainly because we needed to improve our search experience. We do salary comparisons and the core of our website is around salary reports. It is very important for us that users find exactly the reports they want in the quickest and easiest way possible.
With algolia we were able to improve our UX, and the best part is it couldn't have been any easier!

Algolia makes search easy
What do you like best about the product?
We've been using Algolia for the past 8 months and it has been super reliable. As a smaller team, it immediately gave us a ton of flexibility and options we could tweak to improve our search results. It was extremely easy to understand and implement.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it were easier to keep our Algolia index in sync with our main database.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Search can be difficult and require a lot of configuration and tuning. Algolia powers the search across our platform and has saved us time and resources that we would have had to invest in setting up and maintaining infrastructure for search.
Fast searching API for anything!
What do you like best about the product?
Algolia has easy implementation and easy data management. The searching is fast and it allows your users to find things quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not found anything that I dislike yet. Pricing is good and worth it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We allow users to search for careers, skills, open jobs, and projects internally at their company that they work at. We needed an easy search api so that employees could find opportunity. Algolia enables users to quickly find what they need. Additionally, the analytics gives us insight on what and how people search so that we can constantly improve our searching. Also, there are so many packages offered in terms of replication to make sure that data isn't lost. There is a huge community too around using their plugins like instantsearch that will help you really get started.

Easiest search api out there. Everything else is harder to use.

What do you like best about the product?
It’s a better way to search our site, our audience is able to locate relevant pieces of our content even if those pages were created 4 years ago.
What do you dislike about the product?
The setup process was not very easy, although algolia was responsive to emails and did help us set it up.
