Loading state management in react hooks
It will go from idle to stale to loading, then go back to idle to stale and loading again without any apparent reason

Algolia allows us to iterate optimizations in our search experience quickly and creates visibility around painpoints our customers might be experiencing.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a bit more costly than managing your own search service on another platform
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Algolia is helping improve customers ability to find events or performers that they are searching for. A better search success rate leads to a better user expereince and higher likelihood they purchase on our site or app.

Manual pinning of products behaves wierdly at times which is a bit furstrating

The algolia interface has a very intuitive UX to easily explore data and find out insights which i quickly need to know. The varirity of features is very broad. The customer support could help out quickly when trying to solve problems.

I did not discover any downsides yet, bu i have also only been using it since a couple of months. I heared that there were some implementation issues..

Algolia is the easiest search engine to setup with a greate backend to configure everything. Fast search engine easy to integrate.

A lot of functionalities are behind paywalls

User searching I a +1400 products catalog and finding what they are looking for

Algolia is very versatile. We can easily make AB tests, verify which indexes have good results and which don't and easily re-rank the search to put the most relevant items in a better position.

Algolia is a pricy solution and a few things require a bit more knowledge of how the tool works, such as the creation of rules

Algolia is easily re-ranking the products that have a higher conversion rate and also making it easy to create indexes to test hipothesis

What do you like best about the product?
Algolia is the best search tool available there right now. Its API is superfast and is working like a charm. The API is remarkably optimised and integrated seamlessly with our environment setup.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing to dislike about Algolia. There are some minor issues as they have made their dashboard UI is bit clunky. This resulted in more struggle to understand what e are doing sometimes entirely.

We are building many Ecommerce solutions for the business, and the one particular need with every Ecommerce store is the search functionality. Algoiia is saving us from the headache of creating custom search endpoints. We are utilising the power of Algolia to generate a search API.

Algolia helps our users to search for specific data within our platform. We use it in multiple projects namely nft marketplace, searching streamers, videos and other media content

There are several advantages of using Algolia -
1. Easy to integrate and understand.
2. Provides client side JS library to include and create a boilerplate for performing search on platforms.

What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the features of Algolia, like dynamic re-ranking and artificial intelligence, are paid. Aloglia also limits the number of records you can index and can become costly very quickly if not used properly.

We index all our documentation text into Algolia and create indices on top of it. We customise the default algorithm provided by Algolia as per our needs. Search results are retrieved quickly.
