Adding integration to another platform
What do you like best about the product?
There's lot of functionality and it is definitely an enterprise integration for our merchants within the Shopify ecosystem.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a bit complicated to set up if the user is not familiar with search functionality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lots of our shared merchants who are on Shopify leverage Algolia for their search and merchandising. It is expansive and allows for more advance searching capabilities within a mobile app.

Algolia representatives are responsive and helpful with questions

Some of the technical aspects of utilizing Algolia tools make it difficult to learn/implement.

Helping users receive correct result(s) when searching across indexes

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of use and ability to visually change as many categories and products as you'd like.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, there are glitches that make filtering products difficult, but usually Algolia tech are quick to fix any bugs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Algolia makes merchandising easy and fast, no fuss. I also like how Algolia provides a weekly roundup of most searched terms.

A Lot of Capabilities But Complicated Setup
What do you like best about the product?
It has a lot a great reporting features, but the roll up of data can be double counted for each index making the totals inflated.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is complicated and time-consuming to set up. While it seems to have a lot of capabilities, they are not out of the box.

Getting users the information they're seeking.

Fairly ok to use. Support was also helpful in resolving my issue.

The UI of the dashboard could use some improving.

It is used for helping search functionality in the product I am working on.
An excellent tool for search and listing pages
What do you like best about the product?
The tool is very intuitive, in fact it is easy to use it even without full knowledge. Also the customer support is good.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not possible to extract/download an index. Being able to do it would be very useful.

Excellent tool to automatically manage the sorting and the ranking of the products and of the search results.

What do you like best about the product?
A fairly simple and lightweight integration with powerful AI features that we found easy to build into our customer e-commerce site

Configurations - there's a lot of features and have to learn how to get the best use out of all of them.

Smarter search bar and gives us a lot of control over searchable attributes and how results are presented to the end-user
