Modern tools to make construction management more efficient
What do you like best about the product?
The suite of tools really get to the heart of what we need to be looking at and working with on a daily basis. They're well thought out and work really well on both the website and increasingly, on their mobile apps too, allowing for real-time management of issues in the field, rather than having to traipse back to the office to download images and write something up on your computer.
What do you dislike about the product?
Procore is a big piece of software. It has many moving parts. They also have lots and lots of customers with different concerns and different ways that they wish to conduct CM. As such, it can take a while for things to get fixed, or to get implemented, and even then, it might not work exactly the way you had hoped. This has been especially true as an owner, as historically it has been apparent that the software was built for GCs with little thought given to owners. That is changing however, and owners are being given more consideration in recent years.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to stay on top of our construction projects much more simply. The inspectors complete their daily logs from their phones with photos taken right at the work, we can initiate RFIs on the fly, and add photos with markup to fully explain them. It's made our processes much more efficient.
Procore - A good tool for estimating & project management
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can communicate to all my team players on the job in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
I guess just the fact that not all my subs and engineers are on-board with Procore.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Procore helps me keep the latest plans in one central place so that all the team members can utilize them.

- Still lacking in-depth personalization on tools.
- No tools for take-offs.

- Communication between all parties (AOR, ENG, CM, Field, Trades, Etc.);
- Record keeping;

Okay for site/project management. Financial management needs a lot of work.
What do you like best about the product?
Managing contracts for subs and change orders
What do you dislike about the product?
reports are not good; seems feedback from customers is not considered when implementing new features, it is 3 and 4 new versions of existing features instead

managing sub contracts and change orders has streamlined that SOP
It has helped my company in so many ways to increase productivity and efficiency.

User-friendly and intuitive for all of my staff.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are no notifications for Task status updates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving the delays with RFI and Submittal responses. Also commitment approvals have increased in efficiency and speed.
Fantastic Platform
What do you like best about the product?
I like that you can do all the essential items in one Platform vs using multiple programs

There isn't much to dislike with Procore. I think its a great System
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am not having any Problems. If I have a minor issue, I reach out to support, and they take their time to review and assist.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the ability to send out a bid package with ease. Before Procore, we had lots and lots of paper to compile and we sent out via email. We know upload all of our documents, along with drawings and specifications into Procore to easily release the bid package to all bidders on the project/within the discipline.
What do you dislike about the product?
As of right now, the ability to use a bid form in Procore is not very helpful to us. I know that Procore is in the process of creating a bid form and I'm hoping that we can finally get to the point that it may work for us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Procore is solving the ease of finding information and having information, such as contacts on a project, in one place to benefit us by saving time with having to go to several spots to obtain information.
Game changer
What do you like best about the product?
Procore platform has always been easy to learn and navigate. When problems or questions arise, Procore is good about addressing. Much better than SAGE.
What do you dislike about the product?
Procore changing items in BETA that were necessary. Example, showing vendor ID for everyone creating a commitment. We use the vendor ID as part of the commitment number.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping the contacts clean and updated.
Procore could definitely improve but is not a bad software by any means.

I really like how fast it is to upload images and organize them easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the Photo Pin feature on drawings. After every single picture you take you have to check to see if its acceptable before approving it. There has to be a faster way to upload pictures without having to wait 20 seconds until after the picture is taken.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Procore has made the punch list feature a lot easier to understand and filter. However, I wish you could bulk change responses such as from Work Required to Ready to Close on the punch list edit page, it would make it so much easier to prepare items for the architect rather than going through one by one.

different tools and features are advertised but often not included in the package you have purchased

Procore helps us eliminate redundant documents and filing; having one location (tool) for each project-related function makes it quick and easy for the guys in the field to view and access information
