Slow, behind needs
What do you like best about the product?
Processing of documentation to subcontractors and design team
What do you dislike about the product?
Everything else is not intuitive and needs multiple steps. The system does not write all services to Sage and vice versa
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have not found a benefit other then stated above.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Trial system before purchase.

I worked in Marketing so it allowed us to access the information from the Project Managers and images very easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the file organization could be better. Sometimes it s hard to find exactly where some images are. This is key for marketing purposes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Better communication!! It allows us in marketing to work communicate with project managers more easily without having to bother them via email or phone.

Everything regarding the project is together in one suite.

I don't like how i cant send or resend plans and specs to one individual contractor who works for the company that's already been invited to a project

The communication pathways make it a lot easier to communicate with the correct people.

When a new contractor sign's up, I wish they had more training before going live.

Submittal tracking.

Flexibility to deploy proprietary tools and checklists
What do you dislike about the product?
Clunky web interface on smaller mobile devices, assigning tasks to employees, to-do's aren't baked in well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Documentation, communication, overall project management. Benefits: client trust and respect, transparency, clear understanding of costs.

Use it for everything, from front to back office management and field tools.

What do you like best about the product?
Ability to see the most recent drawing versions in real time
What do you dislike about the product?
It is difficult to track approved submittals
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Following updated drawings for accurate sets, tracking submittals and approvals. I have realized how easy it is for multiple parties to be looking at the same versions of particular documents.
Effective CM program
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to incorporate and track the various documents through construction. The plans integrate with the RFIs that integrate with the change events and change orders. It makes it an easy reference for everyone
What do you dislike about the product?
The finacial tools are VERY complex and robust. We are a smaller construction company so they are a little more than what we need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are more efficient with our document handling. I am also better able to track the status of contracts and insurance certs
Recommendations to others considering the product:
ProCore is very robust and complex. There are many tools to help manage the various aspects of a construction project. That being said there are a few tools that could be updated. ProCore is very quick to respond and they are constantly improving the tools they offer.
Unfortunately, ProCore does not track every aspect of the project so you will need to utilize other services (excel, etc) to track a few items.
I would highly recommend taking a real project and using it as a tester, rather than the test project that they set up. The tools, the process etc really sank in once I applied it all to a real project.
Also, once you have started with the program, utilize the live chat, the support email, and the learning center. The support center is VERY helpful and friendly. Seriously some of the best customer support I have experienced.

Cost Management tracking and storage of files is the greatest asset to date.
