Great Card For Business
What do you like best about the product?
Quick and easy to top up, instant spending visibly, simple to freeze or increase the card limit.
What do you dislike about the product?
Fees are quite high for each card and to upgrade to the package with cashback only cost effective if your a very high spender

Solved the problem of providing branch offices with petty cash for everyday items

What do you like best about the product?
I really like how Pleo simplifies expense management and makes it easy for both employees and finance teams. The smart company cards help eliminate the hassle of collecting receipts and filing expense reports manually. I especially appreciate the user-friendly app, real-time notifications, and how seamlessly it integrates with accounting software — it saves so much time and reduces errors. Plus, the transparency it offers across spending gives both employees and managers peace of mind.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Pleo is really helpful overall, sometimes the app can be a bit slow or buggy, especially when uploading receipts or syncing transactions. I’ve also noticed that certain integrations or features could be more customizable to fit specific company needs. Another small drawback is that occasionally, vendors or systems don’t recognize the Pleo card, which can be inconvenient. But honestly, most of these issues are minor compared to the overall benefits.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Pleo is solving the headache of manual expense reporting, lost receipts, and the time-consuming back-and-forth between employees and finance teams. By giving employees smart company cards and an intuitive app, it takes care of expenses in real time — no more waiting for reimbursements or chasing down paperwork. For the finance side, it provides clear oversight and better control over company spending. For me, this has meant less admin work, faster processes, and more confidence that expenses are being tracked accurately and efficiently.

Ease-of-use is superior - both the platform for administrators managing the workflows and the app for the users with virtual and physical cards.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cash-back makes it affordable, but also the cost less transparent and foreseeable.

Efficient workflows (e.g. approval flow) and documentation
It's great as a concept, but it has certain bugs and a few things to improve on the ease of use side

It's pretty intuitive and easy to use and learn to use for simple things like payments and reimbursements.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like how it reads green receipts automatically it always says it's the Autoridade Trib. in Portugal - that's a small thing that can be fixed but could save me a minute of filling out manually always

It solves having all my invoices and most my expenses in there, it doesn't really allow for direct debit with Portuguese national companies but it does with everything else, so it helps to keep my bookkeeping in one place for the most part

A well designed, intuitive expense app solution which could be great with some improvements.
What do you like best about the product?
Design - the app on both desktop and phones is extremely easy to use and pick up quickly for users & admins. Easy to implement into our business and accounting system.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of customisation - some very obvious improvements that could be made which other apps have. The mileage function is borderline not fit for use with the need to continuously monitor each users total mileage and move each person to new custom rates every year..

Real-time tracking/submission of expenses compared to previous dump of data at the end of each period. Receipt submission - previously very manual, now very easy for both users and admins.

What do you like best about the product?
To see very quick the expenses, to get them categorized and have an interface to our ERP system. To add new employees to the system ist very easy and the employees like the app.

The cost structure of Pleo could be revised. It is more expensive as an full HR tool and a separate credit card tool

Pleo helps us to ensure that employees do not have to incur private expenses and organises travel expense reports in the simplest possible way

Pleo helps me paying for licenses & other purchases in an easy way giving me the best overlook at all the payments.
It's been a massive time saver for processing expenses
What do you like best about the product?
Pleo has been really helpful for managing employee expenses and handling monthly/annual subscriptions. I was recently given a card by my employers when I went to an event and found it very straightforward - you can take a picture of the receipt in the app and you get a notification if an expense doesn't have a receipt. We used to reimburse employees monthly, which was time-consuming, but switching to Pleo was simple and it's been much more efficient - I now log in a few times a week for 20 mins at most. The Xero integration is also a big plus, helping keep records accurate and reducing manual errors. I've had one issue in the past, but the customer support team found a solution in under 24 hours!
What do you dislike about the product?
The main downside of Pleo I've found is that if the un-exported transactions build up, the software can become quite laggy. Other than that I have no complaints
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Pleo is saving me time by reducing the admin time required for reimbursing employees, manual data entry, and receipt chasing. It also reduces the risk of human error when copying values across into our accounting software, and helps to track employee spending and set limits.
