Easy to use for business
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, connection to Xero is immediate when exporting transactions. When balance is running low, we receive notification to top up, therefore we always have funds in the account and no need to use overdraft option. Works great as a wallet to pay online or as a card.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm missing analysing of staff expenses, perhaps there could be a split and report for every user rather that using filtering. Also, and this is staff issue not Pleos, staff is very bad at uploading receipts. Perhaps there could be an option to restrict usage if user has more that certain amount of transactions without receipts. Also, we would Wellcome an option to remind the staff about these via automatic email generated weekly? We have many users therefore things can get messy for us, probably not an issue for smaller companies.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It enables staff to travel and use company's account to pay for necessary expenses. Saves time and work as no need to declare individual expenses.
Easy, transparent and trust-enhancing
What do you like best about the product?
The fact that it is very intuive to use. I also like the fact that you can give a lot of trust to your teams to pay with the card or reimburse themselves for costs paid with their own cards. Therefore there is minimal operating time spent on these processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes retailers don't accept creditcard payments as the costs for them are too high.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Admin hassle of reimbursing employees for expenses made. Ability to provide employees with a company creditcard. Ability to manage subscriptions.
Works well and relatively intuitive
What do you like best about the product?
Works well and relatively intuitive. Creating budgets for team to track their own spending is a feature I like in addition to of course the whole invoice payment process, which works smoothly. I can't comment on Pleo integration yet, but this is an extremely important aspect for us for the future to ensure automation / integration with other systems.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not easy to see the Pleo end of month balances, which I use for our manual cash flow management process. Would be great to see that more easily. Looking forward to having a liquidity management tool integrated into Pleo.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it for incoming invoices, for tracking expenses and for providing credit cards to our employees. It solves the problem of overall financial management for our startup.

the support is very good i think. anytime i ask a question i get an immediate answer and they're always very helpful.
apart from that it's very user friendly, easy to use and navigate in the app.

What do you dislike about the product?
nothing that i dislike in particular but i noticed that there can be bugs sometimes on the app for example for the review function the eye symbol sometimes disappears etc. but i think these are small details that can be fixed along the way.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Definitely time. Pleo saves me a lot of time because receipts are already matched to transactions, and all the key details like categories and notes are attached. All I need to do is review the transactions and import them directly into Sage 50—no chasing receipts or manually entering data.

What do you like best about the product?
That we dont have to have a normal bank card and that the reciepts are attached by the user right away.
What do you dislike about the product?
That it is not posible to set up what the user has to do and what to administrator should do. Today the user try to post the expence and then I have to change it afterwards. I only want them to set a project and an tekst. It should on the other hand not be posible to have an expense without an tekst.

Not having to pay out expenses for our employees when they are travelling

Bookings are available in real-time, easy communication with PLEO users, intuitive software application

In the export area, the right section where the bookings are accounted and texted could be a bit wider.

Pleo has reduced our companies' need for petty cash and transferring company funds to personal bank accounts. It gives users autonomy over their budgets.
It's been a positive integration

I enjoy the integration with Xero, ease of use for the employees- it's a very intuitive app and website.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few retailers that the company uses often that isn't approved, so we have to purchase with our personal cards and use the company process outside of pleo for it.

Better visibility and reporting of company expenses.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Pleo is its ability to empower employees with financial autonomy while maintaining full visibility and control for finance teams. The platform strikes a great balance between ease of use and robust functionality—whether it's issuing smart company cards, streamlining expense reporting, or integrating seamlessly with accounting software. The user experience feels modern and intuitive, which helps reduce administrative overhead and makes everyday spending more transparent and accountable. It’s clear that Pleo is designed with both end-users and finance professionals in mind.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Pleo offers a great user experience overall, one area for improvement is the occasional lag in syncing transactions or receipts, which can cause minor delays in reconciliation or reporting. Additionally, while the platform covers most needs very well, more advanced reporting or customization options for larger or more complex finance teams could enhance its value even further. That said, it's clear the product is evolving quickly, and many of these gaps are likely already on the roadmap.
