What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allowing non-directors of the business, people without access to banking, access to funds for day to day business spend!
An excellent, free to use,pre-paid card solution for allowing employees to make payments
What do you like best about the product?
Pleo has been a very useful addition to our small charity, allowing employees to pay for items directly and replacing our previous method of central ordering by one person, or employees paying for items themselves and claiming back their expenses. The free service from Pleo has reduced the time spent on processing expenses and improved the audit trail for end of year accounts. The simple to use free service is great for our needs. The app based system is excellent and the method of capturing receipts is very fast. Integration with Xero software is also a great bonus. As a prepaid account there is the option to limit spending liability by controlling the available balance
What do you dislike about the product?
For the first month we seemed to be on the £35 tier and so were unexpectedly charged, perhaps it could be clearer and there could be a notification for upcoming billing? Low balance notifications could be good. We are new users so possibly more limitations will become clearer over time, but for our requirements for a cost effective (free) payment solution Pleo is 100% fit for purpose.

What do you like best about the product?
Pleo's platform offers an impressive blend of control and flexibility for my business, providing real-time transaction insights, seamless onboarding with virtual or physical card issuance, and strong security credentials. It also allows easy integration with external accounting systems.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Pleo has several interesting features, the relatively high fees applied to expenses made in a different currency are a notable drawback. This can be a concern for businesses with frequent international transactions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Instead of wrestling with shared cards and endless expense reports, Pleo gives us real-time tracking and detailed spending limits. It's a smart, user-friendly way to keep business expenses in check.

What do you like best about the product?
It is very easy to use and very well-orginized.
What do you dislike about the product?
The app has the option to find the invoices from my files direcly, but it does not really work for me. I have to add every time eah invoice by uploading.

Saving time. Using pleo with the team allow us to be more orginized and to save more time.

Not a lot of options. It would be useful if employees could see the overall balance.

Perfect solution for small business petty cash system
What do you like best about the product?
It's simplicity for a small team who need access to petty cash and small online purchasing. The reminders are useful. The mobile app is excellent and the simple login is great. As the main Pleo admin manager, I find it really helpful to see everyone's purchasing in one place, which allows me to prompt card holding staff members for receipts and more details.
What do you dislike about the product?
Initially, I found it tricky to find tutorials and answers to questions for our very basic needs (no invoicing required) and I was slightly confused by some of the terminology but I didn't take full advantage of the online assitance, so that is partly on me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Everything is in one place. It reduces the need for expenses reimbursing by Directors being card holders. There's almost never a need to chase for receipts which reduces the admin involved in the petty cash/expenses.

- Super easy to use app. sometimes glitching abit but overall good experience
- Utlagg in easy way, no need to do multiple steps of report adn then withdraw manually, now things can be almost semi auto and no room for mistake
- it gives 0.5% cash back so there's no need to use other cards just for cashback

- the fee is high .
- the Utlagg transfer max is 20k , which is too low.
- Utlagg transaction fee is high at 10 SEK if i'm not mistaken, not cool
- no insurance
- currency conversion fee is high
- no true multiple currencies account
- Auto topup doesnt work that fast. ( doesnt work in the weekend )
- cannot choose which payment for reimbursement individually. it needs to be all or nothing
- app sometimes laggy ( especially when clicking to the notification ) and when try to share the photo to the transaction using share menu in iOS

the problem: too troublesome utlagg handle, also company card and receipt storage night mare.
Solution: it does remind in real time what to offer.

Decent software, makes the accounting really easy
What do you like best about the product?
We love how it does the accounting automatically for us. It is really user friendly, nice UX deisgn and sensible funcionality. Recently changed to the annual subscription package where we get 1% cash back until we reach our annual fees, so technically we get the software for free.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is hard to align the Pleo cost accounts with the accounting software cost accounts. I have issues changing the VAT codes and customizing the names and account numbers. We'd appreciate if it was easier to change them after the initial setup.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It significantly reduces the time spent on accounting. We still need to manually review the expenses (select the cost accounts and VAT codes) after our employees added them, but it is much easier in Pleo then in our accounting software.
Pleo is extremely user friendly and all my team have had a good experience with it so far.

That it is very straightforward and easy to use for company expenses.

The monthly user charge is pretty high and i would prefer it if that were more cost effective.

It allows my team to be able to expense things without using their own funds.
