Peace of mind and ease of use. WPE takes the stress out of hosting solutions.

What do you dislike about the product?

As they have grown and begun to implement AI support, the human support access time has increased. The support is great when you get it still, but you have to wait longer to speak to a person.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

It solves the problem of dealing with server maintenance, scaling, backups, etc. And then it has add ons for increased performance, security, etc.

24/7 support, new relic integration, UI platform experience

Not enough done to handle bad bots and enormous amounts of dynamic hits/ requests from the same IP

I have easy access to all environments, and support is always available to answer any server or error-related questions when I get stuck.

What I like best about WP Engine is the balance between performance, reliability, and developer-friendly tools. Their managed hosting takes care of updates, security, backups, and caching, which saves a lot of maintenance time. I also appreciate the staging environments, strong support team, and seamless integration with WordPress workflows, especially for agencies and teams managing multiple sites.

What do you dislike about the product?

One downside of WP Engine is the pricing, which can feel expensive compared to standard hosting providers, especially for smaller websites or startups.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

WP Engine helps solve the ongoing challenges of managing WordPress infrastructure, including security, performance optimization, backups, updates, and uptime monitoring. Instead of spending time handling server maintenance or troubleshooting hosting issues, I can focus more on development and client work. The platform’s managed environment, staging tools, and reliable support also help reduce deployment risks and improve overall website stability and performance.

What do you like best about the product?

Website Performance, Support, and the entire ecosystem to manage my websites. The user experience is nice, too. It's worth the money I spend because I feel safe, as WP Engine has out-of-the-box security features that help keep my website safe.

What do you dislike about the product?

I wish they had an integrated DNS and email server, too.

It helps me host my websites easily and safely.

Their support is diligent and very helpful. event when it is my fault they help to fix it.

The UI in the dashboard keeps changing. It works fine, adjusting layouts does not make the product better.

Sometimes there is site slowdowns that are not immediately visible to us.

It solves issues like backups and plugin updates which really help cut down on maintenance times.

What do you like best about the product?

We moved to WP Engine after dealing with ongoing unexplained downtime issues with GoDaddy, and the difference has been noticeable from the start. Their pre-sales team was extremely helpful during the evaluation process and took the time to answer all of our technical and operational questions without overselling anything.

The onboarding and migration process was also much smoother than expected. WP Engine included a managed migration service at no extra cost, and their team handled the move professionally and with very little disruption on our side. What could have been stressful ended up being pretty straightforward.

One of the biggest benefits for us has been the management tools. The admin portal is easy to work with, backups and environment management are simple, and having WordPress core and plugin updates handled for us saves a lot of maintenance time.

Performance has also improved significantly since the move. We saw an immediate improvement after leaving GoDaddy, and since our first day on WP Engine, performance has improved another 29% based on WP Engine's own metrics.

What do you dislike about the product?

So far, we really haven't run into any major issues with the platform. We also haven't been customers long enough to speak to the long-term experience yet, especially around scaling and support over multiple years. If I had to point out a downside, it would probably be that WP Engine costs more than other hosting providers, but in our case the added reliability, management tools, and support have justified the difference.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

WP Engine has reduced the amount of time we spend managing and troubleshooting our hosting environment. Before the move, we were constantly dealing with uptime concerns and having to babysit performance issues. The platform has been much more stable, and we can spend more time focused on the site itself instead of maintaining the infrastructure.

What do you like best about the product?

I find WP Engine fantastic as a host for a number of my clients' websites. Their security gives me peace of mind, knowing that my clients' sites are secure and issues can be addressed immediately thanks to their numerous tools. I appreciate their fantastic support team because they're always willing to help with any technical issues like plugins or code. The global edge security, as well as their partnership with Nitro Pack, has improved my clients' page speed scores, which benefits our marketing efforts. Hands down, the support and communication are great. At any time, I can reach a real person and get things done. They also have an extraordinarily helpful AI tool that troubleshoots issues quickly. Additionally, their seamless WordPress login system and the ability to switch between different clients' systems within their dashboard as an agency partner are incredibly helpful. WP Engine’s migration system is like a wizard, making file transfers from other hosts like GoDaddy easy, although BigCommerce needed additional steps. Moreover, the service is consistent, which is why I recommend WP Engine to every single client.

It can come off as a little pricey, but like I said, the value really justifies the price.

I use WP Engine for hosting multiple client websites. It provides excellent security, support for server management, and ensures uptime. Their AI tool and support team resolve issues quickly, saving us from hiring more staff, letting us focus on our goals.

Their customer support is the best I've ever had. I actually look forward to asking them because I know my problem will be solved in less than a minute

At least with my plan, there are some things that I do not have access to change on the backend that I have to reach out to support for

I appreciate that we can feel secure about our website safety and that they are always updated to the current version. It allows us to easily have less technical maintenance and keeps our website speed good. The setup was pretty straightforward.

it would be nice if we could edit our sites within WP Engine

WP Engine keeps our websites up to date, secure, and backed up. I appreciate the reduced technical maintenance and good website speed it provides.
