What is our primary use case?
My main use case for WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform is when I have clients who need hosting for a website that I have just built. I would recommend them to go to WP Engine, and another good benefit is their support is very good, and it is very easy to set up staging websites, and they have minimal downtime.
Another good use case for WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform is really to do with its backups and how it takes daily backups and also hourly backups because that has been more useful than I can imagine.
What is most valuable?
Its best feature is probably how quick it is to spin up new environments. Their support is also very good as well. Sometimes there is a bit of a queue to get hold of someone, but when you do, their support has always been great.
WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform has probably been one of the best hosts that we have used. However, it is slightly more expensive, but that cost outweighs itself because the support and overall use of setting things up within the platform is much easier than others.
WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform has saved us time because it is quicker to do things, but then that also means that we can add more clients to it. This has benefited both us in the sense of time and also cost. It has also benefited WP Engine to get more referrals.
What needs improvement?
Sometimes the support time or to get hold of someone is a very long time. Sometimes you can wait up to 30 or 40 minutes for someone, and you sometimes have to re-explain yourself quite a lot. Perhaps something on the front where they are able to get a quick summary of what has already been going on before spending more time asking things that I have already answered with the person before.
WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform is probably one of the best that I have seen so far, but there are areas where it could improve.

I have been using WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform for about four years, and I have used it in pretty much every agency that I have worked at, and I am even using it in my freelance jobs that I am doing on the side when I am not working in agencies.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform is stable.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform is very scalable, and it is very easy to use from a scalable aspect.
How are customer service and support?
Customer support for WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform is probably some of the best that I have seen.
In regards to WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform's staging environments, it takes about five minutes to spin it up, which is very quick. In regards to the support team, there was a time when we had a client who was having issues with the caching, and it basically was not saving data to a very specific form in the correct way. The support team literally went above and beyond to try and solve this.
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
Before we were using SiteGround for hosting, but the reason why we switched is because SiteGround had a lot of downtime.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform's setup cost and licensing is very easy, but the pricing cost is sometimes more expensive than other hosting platforms. However, the cost of what you get in regard to the support, the speed, and the time saved sort of outweigh the cost.
Which other solutions did I evaluate?
We did evaluate other options before choosing WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform, and we evaluated options such as SiteGround. We also evaluated Cloudways as well, which is probably on the same level as WP Engine.
What other advice do I have?
WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform's governance and security is very good, and they are always seemingly on top of the security and keeping that at the forefront, which is very good.
It is good because WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform gives quick snapshots, but AI is in a position where you need to check what it gives you as the output. You cannot solely rely on it.
For instance, we started out with our WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform account as one user, and now we have 12 users on it because so many have moved to us.
I would definitely recommend getting a demo booked in with a salesperson for WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform, and they can walk you through the features and the different aspects that you will need. Depending on the size of the company that you are moving to WP Engine, you can have an account manager, and they can really help with some of the more complex issues and getting those resolved a little quicker than if you were to go with a bigger hosting provider. I rate my overall experience with WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform an 8 out of 10.

What is our primary use case?
My main use case for WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform is that we host almost all of our company's websites on it; we have over 90 plus websites on WP Engine's hosting, and we use it to manage everything from staging and development environments to automated plugin updates.
A specific example of how I use WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform for one of our sites is that, as a developer, I utilize their GitHub Actions to deploy code to a development site, especially when working on a new site or a new feature to an existing site.
Delaware North has been a customer for a long time, and their customer support is the best I have ever experienced anywhere.
What is most valuable?
Some of the best features that WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform offers include daily automated backups of every site, which are valuable in case something goes wrong, and the Smart Plugin Manager feature that automatically updates your website's plugins while doing visual regression testing.
I appreciate that they have added reporting features and performance monitoring capabilities like Lighthouse scores to see how our sites are performing in terms of speed.
WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform has positively impacted my organization by making it significantly easier to manage everything, allowing my team to manage all the websites in one platform where you're logged in and can manage any site you need to.
Specific outcomes I can share include overall visibility and transparency of things on a larger scale, allowing someone like myself or another team member to see the bigger picture regarding the performance of the server or the sites and all the activity going on.
What needs improvement?
One improvement I wish WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform could make is the ability to manage individual sites' users within each site since I would like to bulk manage the users specific to each site rather than just users of WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform.

I have been using WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform for about six years.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform is stable, as I do not remember any downtime over the seven years we have been with them that could be attributed to them, counting maybe just a few times on one hand.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform is very scalable, as we recently upgraded our account, and the process was seamless; they doubled our memory, RAM, and everything we had to fit our current fleet of sites and ensure smooth performance.
How are customer service and support?
The customer support of WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform is amazing, and it is the best in the business that I have seen or experienced.
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
Before WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform, we used Sitecore for all our sites, but we switched due to the massive cost per year for the Sitecore license and the need to get an outside developer for major changes or development work.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
My experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing has been straightforward, with pricing that I would expect, and our account manager is really great and upfront about costs without being too pushy or sales-oriented.
What other advice do I have?
My advice to others looking into using WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform is to read their website, resources, documentation, and reviews; do your due diligence and believe the hype, as WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform is the real deal.
If someone asked me who I would recommend, I would recommend WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform. I choose a 10 because to me, they are just the best; they are the leader in the whole space of managed WordPress hosting, continuously innovating and adding different AI solutions.
Regarding WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform's AI capabilities, I am not too sure about its governance and security as we provide our own API key and manage that ourselves, so I do not have much insight.
Regarding WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform's AI capabilities, its accuracy and reliability of output have been so far so good.
WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform is deployed in our organization as public cloud since I log in to the user portal, which is just a subdomain on the WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform root domain. We utilize Google Cloud with WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform, but since WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform is a managed hosting provider, we do not really get to pick.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use in the backend and ability to adjust version of the site you have saved.
What do you dislike about the product?
They sell you a server package but then it has performance issues and the plugins they give you to help speed up your site just add bloatware and conflict with plugins to cause more issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Web hosting and support to figure out whats happening is good but thats when you are able to get support.

Chat support is top notch and responds quickly when we have issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
The wait times for support can be lengthy during the middle of the day, and most recently adding the TXT record requirement when pointing a DNS is a huge issue and slows us down a lot.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
WP Engine is solving a lot of technical problems for us at the server level and helping us provide better integrations for our client's websites.

WP Engine has a real ease of use once you learn the ropes! And in a worse-case scenario, the support is unmatched with prompt and helpful support!
What do you dislike about the product?
I don’t think I have enough experience with it yet to say what I dislike. That said, I do wish it were a bit easier to reference previous tickets when I’m dealing with an issue on the same site and chatting with support.

What do you like best about the product?
Their tech team is always so helpful. They look into things and provide help and solutions depending on the situation. They are always polite and so helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
That you are not able to delete profiles unless you are the main admin. Sometimes it would be nice to be able to have that capability but in reality I understand why they don't have it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We delete a site and then the client is now coming back after a couple of years, we didn't know if we could retreive from a back up which they were able to. This solution helped save us so much time from recreating it.

What do you like best about the product?
Its easy to setup and manage WP installations, including updating plugins with their SPM tool. Their visual regression testing puts me at ease when setting updates to run by themselves.
What do you dislike about the product?
Right now it would have to be their API, it still lacks some features but I believe they'll get there eventually.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our marketing teams need to setup campaigns every so often, with this tool it is easy to provide them with environments straight away and just let things run.

What is our primary use case?
For hosting our websites, I use WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform as I have five to six websites in WordPress. I use it as a hosting provider to make auto updates and to improve site performance. I also have an add-on called NitroPack, which is wonderful and boosts website performance up to 90%.
What is most valuable?
The most valuable feature I found in WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform is auto-updates. If anything happens to my website, it rolls back automatically without me doing it manually. I receive an integration notification saying that the website went down, so a rollback occurs automatically to the older version.
Other than auto-updates, WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform makes it easy to post websites. It is straightforward, and I can create UAT systems and later push them to production very easily. I can develop anything on the staging site first and easily push to production as well. The customer support is also excellent. If I have any issues, I can directly contact support, and they help me with whatever situation I am in.
I use WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform's analytics tools, and they show me the performance of the website, including where it is dropping.
These analytics tools from WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform have helped me understand site performance metrics by providing a detailed report. For example, if one of the plugins is reducing my website performance, it flags that plugin saying it has security issues and this is what causes risk to my website. It gives me a detailed report and indicates where I need to improve performance.
Regarding the automated updates I already mentioned, these automated updates in WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform help me manage my WordPress site effectively. They auto-update PHP and the themes of my website, including the plugins. If anything has compatibility issues, it automatically rolls back to the older version so that the next day I can see what happened. It provides an entire detailed report.
What needs improvement?
WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform already looks better to me so far.
When considering optimization processes in WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform, I would like to have more flexibility in the area of dashboards, giving me more options to work with my domains on the server-side. I want to see how the communication is happening between my website and the servers.

I have been using WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform for almost a year.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
Regarding the stability and reliability of WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform, it is the most trusted platform. Many people use it, so it is convenient and the most trusted hosting provider.
I have not experienced any issues such as outages or downtime with WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform that interrupted my workflow. If there is any upgrade happening, they provide a notification in the dashboard saying what is occurring. I have experienced no issues so far.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
In terms of measuring the scalability of WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform, it is easy to use, everything is easy to build, and it is easy to host new websites.
When the volume of data and the volume of workflow increases, WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform adapts easily to these new circumstances.
I have already expanded with WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform.
The expansion with WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform has been smooth so far, and I did not encounter any challenges.
How are customer service and support?
Regarding my experience with the technical support of WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform, I previously had some issues with NitroPack caching the forms that I built on my website. I reached out to support, and they told me I could disable certain pages if I did not want to cache those pages. They guided me on how to do that, and I am satisfied with the support.
I rate the technical support of WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform as 10. They are quick.
What other advice do I have?
WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform is deployed on the cloud, specifically on Microsoft Azure as the cloud platform.
Regarding the effectiveness of WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform's security features in protecting my WordPress site, I think it is secure. I get two-step verification. When I try to log in, I receive a security code to my email to log into the WP dashboard. From there, I can easily log into any of my websites.
I do not particularly use developer tools in WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform, but I think they are very helpful for developers if they want to make custom changes directly. They can do it on the UAT site and later push it to production.
From my perspective, I can evaluate WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform as very scalable and I rate it 10.
When the volume of data and the volume of workflow increases, WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform adapts easily to these new circumstances.

Being able to go in and update all plugins and enable all the plugins to be updated automatically is a huge advantage, especially when I have clients who sometimes go into the backend of websites and they might see that something is not updated and they worry. Being able to make sure that everything is up to date 24/7, 365 days a year is good.
I really appreciate how intuitive WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform is and how I can do everything from one place at one time.

What do you like best about the product?
WP Engine's support is genuinely outstanding. Within minutes of opening a chat you're connected with a highly technical person who can actually solve your problem, not just read from a script. It's rare to encounter someone who can't resolve your issue on the spot, and they always share links and tools so you can handle similar things yourself next time.
The backend is clean, intuitive, and free from unnecessary clutter. One-click staging and dev environments are a huge time-saver, and rolling backups of around 40 days are critical for running a professional operation. Performance is noticeably better than my previous host, and pricing becomes very competitive once you're managing dozens of sites. Add-ons can be pricey for smaller clients but make a lot of sense at the enterprise level.

The main downside is that add-ons can be quite expensive, which makes it difficult to justify the cost for smaller clients. This isn't a dealbreaker for larger or enterprise-level operations where the value is clear, but for agencies managing smaller client sites it can add up quickly. Outside of that, there is very little to complain about.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As an agency managing multiple client sites, WP Engine solves the core problem of needing reliable, fast hosting with minimal downtime and expert support always on hand. Being billed annually in AUD rather than USD has also made a real difference, it's much easier to forecast costs, manage pricing for clients, and avoid unexpected currency fluctuations. Overall it has streamlined how I run and price my hosting services.
