    Hosting multiple sites has become smoother and automated updates have protected performance

    What is our primary use case?

    For hosting our websites, I use WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform as I have five to six websites in WordPress. I use it as a hosting provider to make auto updates and to improve site performance. I also have an add-on called NitroPack, which is wonderful and boosts website performance up to 90%.

    What is most valuable?

    The most valuable feature I found in WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform is auto-updates. If anything happens to my website, it rolls back automatically without me doing it manually. I receive an integration notification saying that the website went down, so a rollback occurs automatically to the older version.

    Other than auto-updates, WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform makes it easy to post websites. It is straightforward, and I can create UAT systems and later push them to production very easily. I can develop anything on the staging site first and easily push to production as well. The customer support is also excellent. If I have any issues, I can directly contact support, and they help me with whatever situation I am in.

    I use WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform's analytics tools, and they show me the performance of the website, including where it is dropping.

    These analytics tools from WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform have helped me understand site performance metrics by providing a detailed report. For example, if one of the plugins is reducing my website performance, it flags that plugin saying it has security issues and this is what causes risk to my website. It gives me a detailed report and indicates where I need to improve performance.

    Regarding the automated updates I already mentioned, these automated updates in WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform help me manage my WordPress site effectively. They auto-update PHP and the themes of my website, including the plugins. If anything has compatibility issues, it automatically rolls back to the older version so that the next day I can see what happened. It provides an entire detailed report.

    What needs improvement?

    WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform already looks better to me so far.

    When considering optimization processes in WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform, I would like to have more flexibility in the area of dashboards, giving me more options to work with my domains on the server-side. I want to see how the communication is happening between my website and the servers.

    For how long have I used the solution?

    I have been using WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform for almost a year.

    What do I think about the stability of the solution?

    Regarding the stability and reliability of WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform, it is the most trusted platform. Many people use it, so it is convenient and the most trusted hosting provider.

    I have not experienced any issues such as outages or downtime with WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform that interrupted my workflow. If there is any upgrade happening, they provide a notification in the dashboard saying what is occurring. I have experienced no issues so far.

    What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

    In terms of measuring the scalability of WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform, it is easy to use, everything is easy to build, and it is easy to host new websites.

    When the volume of data and the volume of workflow increases, WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform adapts easily to these new circumstances.

    I have already expanded with WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform.

    The expansion with WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform has been smooth so far, and I did not encounter any challenges.

    How are customer service and support?

    Regarding my experience with the technical support of WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform, I previously had some issues with NitroPack caching the forms that I built on my website. I reached out to support, and they told me I could disable certain pages if I did not want to cache those pages. They guided me on how to do that, and I am satisfied with the support.

    I rate the technical support of WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform as 10. They are quick.

    What other advice do I have?

    WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform is deployed on the cloud, specifically on Microsoft Azure as the cloud platform.

    Regarding the effectiveness of WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform's security features in protecting my WordPress site, I think it is secure. I get two-step verification. When I try to log in, I receive a security code to my email to log into the WP dashboard. From there, I can easily log into any of my websites.

    I do not particularly use developer tools in WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform, but I think they are very helpful for developers if they want to make custom changes directly. They can do it on the UAT site and later push it to production.

    From my perspective, I can evaluate WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform as very scalable and I rate it 10.

    When the volume of data and the volume of workflow increases, WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform adapts easily to these new circumstances.

    What is our primary use case?

    My main use case for WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform is hosting websites and ensuring it is all-in-one for building out websites and reviewing security issues, making sure that everything is in one place and easy to manage.

    A quick specific example of how I use WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform to boost a website or manage everything in one place is that I am able to handle all the optimizations that are necessary, automate plugin updates, and handle things that I do not have to worry about on a day-to-day basis. It takes care of it for me.

    What is most valuable?

    In my opinion, the best feature WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform offers is that it is all-in-one, which is the biggest thing.

    The all-in-one feature helps my workflow and my team by having all the databases, all the websites, and all the caching systems in one place, which allows for scalability and provides faster updates and enables me to get things done quicker.

    WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform has positively impacted my organization by providing automatic updates and allowing me to do it all from one platform rather than going into the backend of every website individually.

    What needs improvement?

    I really do not know how WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform can be improved.

    My experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing for WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform was seamless. The pricing was good and represented fair market value. It made sense and was easy to get set up. I did not hear about any issues.

    What was our ROI?

    The return on investment I have seen is mainly time saved, which is the biggest one.

    What other advice do I have?

    Since using WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform, a specific outcome or metric I have noticed is that it is a huge time-saver. Being able to go in and update all plugins and enable all the plugins to be updated automatically is a huge advantage, especially when I have clients who sometimes go into the backend of websites and they might see that something is not updated and they worry. Being able to make sure that everything is up to date 24/7, 365 days a year is good.

    I really appreciate how intuitive WP Engine WordPress Digital Experience Platform is and how I can do everything from one place at one time.

    Outstanding Support, Clean Backend, and Time-Saving Staging

    What do you like best about the product?
    WP Engine's support is genuinely outstanding. Within minutes of opening a chat you're connected with a highly technical person who can actually solve your problem, not just read from a script. It's rare to encounter someone who can't resolve your issue on the spot, and they always share links and tools so you can handle similar things yourself next time.

    The backend is clean, intuitive, and free from unnecessary clutter. One-click staging and dev environments are a huge time-saver, and rolling backups of around 40 days are critical for running a professional operation. Performance is noticeably better than my previous host, and pricing becomes very competitive once you're managing dozens of sites. Add-ons can be pricey for smaller clients but make a lot of sense at the enterprise level.

    10/10, would absolutely recommend.
    What do you dislike about the product?
    The main downside is that add-ons can be quite expensive, which makes it difficult to justify the cost for smaller clients. This isn't a dealbreaker for larger or enterprise-level operations where the value is clear, but for agencies managing smaller client sites it can add up quickly. Outside of that, there is very little to complain about.
    What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
    As an agency managing multiple client sites, WP Engine solves the core problem of needing reliable, fast hosting with minimal downtime and expert support always on hand. Being billed annually in AUD rather than USD has also made a real difference, it's much easier to forecast costs, manage pricing for clients, and avoid unexpected currency fluctuations. Overall it has streamlined how I run and price my hosting services.

    What do you like best about the product?
    I really like the fact that I can get a hold of someone no matter what time of day it is, and it's an actual person. Sometimes the chat feature is sufficient, but most times when I need to get hold of an agent, I'm able to get hold of somebody within five minutes, and they almost always seem to be able to resolve whatever issue I'm having pretty quickly. The setup was very easy; once the account is set up, adding a site and moving a site was very, very easy. I believe in the beginning, WP Engine assisted in helping us move those sites over quickly.

    Nothing
    What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
    WP Engine provides a dedicated server solution addressing the slowness issues we had with GoDaddy, improving our website speed and offering more features, even though it's pricier.

    Peace of mind and ease of use. WPE takes the stress out of hosting solutions.

    As they have grown and begun to implement AI support, the human support access time has increased. The support is great when you get it still, but you have to wait longer to speak to a person.

    It solves the problem of dealing with server maintenance, scaling, backups, etc. And then it has add ons for increased performance, security, etc.

    What do you like best about the product?
    Website Performance, Support, and the entire ecosystem to manage my websites. The user experience is nice, too. It's worth the money I spend because I feel safe, as WP Engine has out-of-the-box security features that help keep my website safe.
