Using innovation to simplify research and streamline information retrieval

  • August 07, 2025
  • Review provided by PeerSpot

What is our primary use case?

I use ChatGPT Team - Enterprise for research projects and sometimes for different types of projects. I also use it in my assignments when I need assistance.

What is most valuable?

ChatGPT Team - Enterprise is the best resource to ask a question if you don't know the answer and prefer not to search on Google. ChatGPT Team - Enterprise will provide you with the answers you need. However, there are some limitations to it. I wouldn't say it's really accurate as it doesn't have all the recent news.

ChatGPT Team - Enterprise makes my life very easy because every time I have to look up something on Google, I have to search through multiple results, but ChatGPT Team - Enterprise provides information in a simpler view with the easiest format and in quite literally the simplest sentences. That's very useful.

I use the ChatGPT Team - Enterprise Pro version, and I think it's really worth it. I wouldn't say ChatGPT Team - Enterprise is expensive. I think it's worth the money you pay.

What needs improvement?

ChatGPT Team - Enterprise is really improving significantly. I haven't worked in the ChatGPT Team - Enterprise five version. I've worked on versions four and three. They have room for improvements in search as sometimes it gives out wrong information. Sometimes it doesn't do what the user wants it to do. There are also some ways of manipulating ChatGPT Team - Enterprise to get the information you want, which I think is a moral or ethical concern rather than a technological limitation.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using ChatGPT Team - Enterprise for four years. I started using it when it was initially released, so I have been there from the beginning.

How was the initial setup?

The initial setup for ChatGPT Team - Enterprise is pretty straightforward. You just need to provide your email and start from there. ChatGPT Team - Enterprise is very open and very easy to use.

What other advice do I have?

I recommend ChatGPT Team - Enterprise one hundred percent. ChatGPT Team - Enterprise is a very powerful tool that should be used wisely. On a scale of 1-10, I rate this solution a 9.

Accelerating task completion with quick script generation

  • August 01, 2025
  • Review provided by PeerSpot

What is our primary use case?

ChatGPT is used to write terminal scripts for Macintosh for remotely renaming a machine based upon a formula. We use it to remotely create users through remote terminal commands so we don't have to remote into the user's computer and interrupt their workflow. We're remoting in, but we're doing it through the terminal so it doesn't bother them. We use ChatGPT also to write scripts on Windows computers to rename the computer, to restart programs that are frozen, and to install programs.

For general troubleshooting, we use it to look up possible answers for a problem. It speeds up the process, whereas the previous model was that a customer would call up on a phone and you would ask them numerous questions and tell them what to type and hope they could fix it. Then it moved to where the internet came and you would go to a forum. After forums, it got to a point where you actually have your own website with your own facts and knowledge bases and look up an answer. Then it got to where Google started categorizing everything, so everybody would just go to Google and type in a question and hope an answer pops up.

ChatGPT makes it quicker to find the information. You still have to verify it works and it's accurate, but you've always had to do that because the information could be old and you don't realize it.

ChatGPT is writing the basic script to do functions. A 40-line script to do something, ChatGPT might write in 15 seconds, where it might have taken me 15 minutes before. It's allowing me to do my job quicker, which lets me help customers quicker, which lets nobody have to stay late at work, either me or them.

What is most valuable?

ChatGPT has positively impacted my organization. It's given some employees who normally aren't programmers the ability to quickly generate programming code that does something, and then they can look at it and get an idea of what it does. It's helped them learn quicker and it hasn't replaced their tedious skill set in some cases, but it has improved their knowledge in other ways. It's just as the keyboard didn't negate people's ability to communicate, it just made everybody's handwriting consistently the same, versus writing with a pencil.

What needs improvement?

There are areas where ChatGPT can still improve. If you ask it the same question twice, it gives you a slightly different answer, which even a human being does unless it memorizes something. As information changes, ChatGPT is obviously going to do it differently, slightly different each time. If you ask it to, the more simple your question is, the more chance you're going to get multiple answers. For instance, if you tell it to draw a green box with a white circle, it might make it bigger or smaller or one shade of green versus another. The more specific your query is, your question, the better the result you're going to get.

ChatGPT is kind of already getting better, so just continuous improvements are needed.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have used ChatGPT for about a year or six months.

How are customer service and support?

I haven't had to deal with support for ChatGPT. Generally speaking, I usually don't even call support people, since I'm a support person.

How would you rate customer service and support?

Neutral

How was the initial setup?

All we did was sign up for ChatGPT and just started typing in and using it and seeing what happened. I haven't really paid too much attention to documentation on it.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

ChatGPT has been reasonably priced for us. Originally, we used the free version and then determined it was nice to be able to do the features saving your queries and looking up all the answers you need throughout the day. As we've relied on it more, then we are willing to pay for it, because otherwise, the free version runs into a limit to where it states, "You can't do any more questions today, you have to wait till tomorrow."

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

ChatGPT is the one that we go to use as a standalone product. The Copilot we use basically when we're only inside of Windows. The other one we use in SuperOps, that's our MSP software. It actually builds a local language model of all our service tickets. It's leveraging the AI concept to build a model to where when we search a ticket for a printer problem, it searches all our tickets across all our customers to find the answer we may have already done and then build an answer. It's constantly learning on our internal documentation.

It keeps our privacy because if we were using ChatGPT, there's no way for us to feed in all of our customers' information and keep it private; it would go to the entire model for everybody out there. The internal one we're using with SuperOps is built using a special tier to where all your data is inside and protected. It's not shared with any other users of the software. There is a level you can do that with ChatGPT, according to my understanding, but we don't pay for that level.

What other advice do I have?

I haven't seen if ChatGPT is used with AWS; I haven't bothered to see what their back end is.

We purchase ChatGPT through SherWeb, S H E R W E B, and we purchase through Pax8, P A X and the number eight.

I would rate ChatGPT an eight out of 10.

Versatile research capabilities facilitate efficiency but accuracy needs attention

  • June 24, 2025
  • Review from a verified AWS customer

What is our primary use case?

We use ChatGPT for internal reports and checking for errors in our non-confidential internal communications. We also use it for research when we need to look for sources.

What is most valuable?

Some of the best features of ChatGPT are its customizability and its ability to pull from a range of sources; it is comprehensive. ChatGPT has positively impacted our organization by speeding up a lot of our processing time. We do not rely on it extensively or use anything directly for internal or client communications, but with any sort of resources, it speeds up the process of our research.

What needs improvement?

Some areas that could be improved with ChatGPT include the accuracy aspect. Sometimes when we are trying to backtrack sources or where data came from, it can be difficult to navigate.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have one and a half years of experience with ChatGPT.

What was my experience with deployment of the solution?

The initial setup of ChatGPT was relatively straightforward. We do not use it for everything, so we did not have to integrate it.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

There is not over 50% speed up time overall with ChatGPT, but it definitely provides over 50% improvement for research-specific purposes.

How are customer service and support?

We have not reached out to support for ChatGPT. We typically handle issues internally or use another platform.

Regarding documentation, we do not use one specific source for ChatGPT. We typically go through various manuals we can find online. Online resources are vast for optimizing results.

How would you rate customer service and support?

Positive

How was the initial setup?

The initial setup of ChatGPT was relatively straightforward as we did not have to integrate it extensively.

On a scale of one to ten, where ten is the easiest and one is the most difficult, I would rate the initial setup experience of ChatGPT a seven or eight.

What was our ROI?

The pricing and licensing of ChatGPT is currently appropriately priced for our needs.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

I cannot specify where ChatGPT would fit on a scale of one to ten for pricing, as I am not aware of our per-seat cost.

What other advice do I have?

I would rate ChatGPT a six or seven out of ten. Sometimes it is extremely repetitive with its answers. Some prompts result in diverse resources, but the wording can often be very similar. The accuracy can be questionable at times, which prevents a higher rating. However, it responds effectively to clarifications, and the vastness of resources is substantial.

I would not recommend ChatGPT as a standalone product. I think it could be beneficial when used alongside other tools, but as a standalone solution, its accuracy cannot be entirely trusted.

I prefer to keep both my name and company name anonymous in this review.

Efficiently manages projects and daily tasks with personalized interaction

  • June 23, 2025
  • Review provided by PeerSpot

What is our primary use case?

I am using ChatGPT for everything. For example, I have a script or prompt that I use to organize my agenda. I create a prompt listing what I have to do, and it creates a checklist for me. When I start the new day, I ask it to begin, and it asks me about the tasks I created yesterday, if I have finished them, what I have to do to finish them, and what I am planning for the next day. I create an agenda based on ChatGPT with a specific prompt and create a project for that. Then I can organize my agenda.

For the projects I'm working on, I separate them by subject. If I'm researching about AI, I create this project and everything that I'm researching about AI goes into this project. It's a directory where I upload files, websites, and everything I'm working on for this subject. The interaction I have with this chat and the prompt I'm using is very deep, detailed, and the communication with the prompt adapts to my way of working.

What is most valuable?

The best features with ChatGPT relate to processing what I'm starting to create. If I'm working on a project and I have to organize ideas, I will start with ChatGPT. I ask it to organize my ideas in a quick subject that I have to work on to start this project. ChatGPT will list everything I have and create this list.

My experience with it is not that ChatGPT is a guru that will replace me, because they are not able to think. They are able to execute tasks a senior would do in your work or company. I ask it to execute these tasks for me faster than I could do alone.

In my experience working in a consulting company, we do a lot of research to identify and get more context regarding a theme or subject. With ChatGPT, I can save significant time because I just input the subject and ask about the sources and main specialists in the industry regarding this theme. It provides all the details that previously took days or weeks to gather. I can improve and get more insight into subjects with more accurate and aggregated solutions for the work we are doing.

What needs improvement?

Some areas that could be improved with ChatGPT include the information they provide, as sometimes they hallucinate something that's not real. Sometimes they comment positively without being asked, and I have questioned ChatGPT that I don't want the prompt to agree with me but rather to challenge me.

If I provide a slide and ask to compare it to McKinsey or other big companies and scale it from zero to 10, they might say it's an eight and suggest improvements to reach nine or ten. However, these evaluations aren't always realistic because if you're not a specialist on the subject, you might create something that's not accurate.

This becomes problematic because we are working with real clients, not experiments. When working on real cases, I have to be the one to validate that the information is accurate. Sometimes they provide information that isn't real. You have to be the gate to validate that this information is correct before proceeding. For simpler tasks adjusting communication style or making text more formal, they perform perfectly. However, for complex cases, I don't use ChatGPT as the source of truth because it's not always accurate. If you delegate it to make decisions in your place, it could create significant problems to solve.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have dealt with ChatGPT as a very early adopter since its beginning.

What other advice do I have?

The pricing for ChatGPT is fair. I'm using the same price since I started experimenting with ChatGPT a couple of years ago.

In the beginning, I spent significant time providing context to ChatGPT. The main concern was about data. You cannot provide sensitive data to ChatGPT. I'm not confident they will keep it confidential. The data of our clients is precious to us. In our daily operations, we are not available to use any sensitive data or client information in ChatGPT. We only use it to provide argumentation, to study, to organize, and to execute tasks, but not for anything strategic or confidential.

My overall rating for ChatGPT is 8 out of 10.

Which deployment model are you using for this solution?

Public Cloud

If public cloud, private cloud, or hybrid cloud, which cloud provider do you use?

What is our primary use case?

My main use cases for ChatGPT include reviewing technical information or writing some documents or reports.

What is most valuable?

The best features of ChatGPT include having a lot of information integrated, and it is quick to learn how to prompt the questions and to integrate text in documents to get a faster review or create a report.

Because ChatGPT has a lot of information integrated, the response is faster.

I see a return on investment for ChatGPT because the time required results in significant savings.

ChatGPT saves approximately one day of work in one month.

What needs improvement?

The information base of ChatGPT has to grow because, in some cases, it does not include information about my city.

I am referring specifically to information about my city.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have used this product for approximately two years.

How are customer service and support?

I rate the documentation of ChatGPT as very good because I haven't needed any service and I don't know how the service was.

I would rate the available documentation as a 10.

How would you rate customer service and support?

Positive

How was the initial setup?

It was easy to set up ChatGPT.

On a scale of one to 10, I would rate the ease of setup as a nine.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

The setup cost for ChatGPT was not very expensive.

I'm not sure about the current monthly or yearly cost for this product.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

I am not familiar with the main differences between ChatGPT and similar products such as Gemini or Rytr because I haven't used them.

We are now evaluating some other solutions for the city, but I'm not related to that team, so I cannot provide that information.

What other advice do I have?

It is quick to learn how to use ChatGPT. I rate this solution a 9 out of 10.

Using technology helps streamline research, improve writing skills, and brainstorm creative ideas

  • March 25, 2025
  • Review provided by PeerSpot

What is our primary use case?

I don't have one use case. I have many. I use ChatGPT for creativity and brainstorming. I often use it to generate ten or twenty ideas for a topic, and that often helps me to then pick which direction I actually want to go into. I use it to fine-tune my writing skills. When I write an important document, I ask it to analyze it. When I create presentations, I often ask ChatGPT to create images for me. I often ask ChatGPT to summarize long texts for me. I also use it for complex knowledge research where I would have to use multiple searches on Google.

What is most valuable?

The chat and talk functionality and the search functionality are the best features ChatGPT offers. I also switched a lot of my searches from Google to ChatGPT, and it scales well. More people have easier access to knowledge.

What needs improvement?

I think it's pretty good. No recommendations.

For how long have I used the solution?

Around two years.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

Well, it scales well.

How are customer service and support?

I've never interacted with customer support. I never needed it.

How would you rate customer service and support?

Positive

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

I switched a lot of my searches from Google to ChatGPT. I also evaluated Perplexity, but ChatGPT was better. I also looked at DeepSeek, Claude, Grok, and a lot of other LLMs, but in the end ChatGPT is the best for my average use case.

How was the initial setup?

Very straightforward, very easy.

What was our ROI?

A lot of time saved on certain tasks.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

Perplexity, DeepSeek, Claude, Grok, and a lot of other LLMs.

What other advice do I have?

Just use it. Just don't be afraid to use it. Just go with it. I would rate ChatGPT a nine on a scale of one to ten. It's really, really good.

If public cloud, private cloud, or hybrid cloud, which cloud provider do you use?

Fast performance and efficient integration for SQL reporting with good support

  • September 27, 2024
  • Review provided by PeerSpot

What is our primary use case?

We used Rockset as an SQL interface on some of DynamoDB. Our use case is primarily for customer-facing data reporting.

How has it helped my organization?

The ease of integrating Rockset once with DynamoDB and minimal maintenance has improved our organizational efficiency. The performance on the SQL queries was pretty fast, which was a significant benefit for us.

What is most valuable?

The most valuable feature is the ease of service. It just works once integrated with DynamoDB. The performance on SQL queries is fast.

What needs improvement?

For our use, there is no room for improvement. It depends on how you use it, however, from our perspective, it has met our needs.

For how long have I used the solution?

We started using Rockset around the end of 2020 and continued until earlier this year.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

From how we have used it, Rockset has always been stable. We never saw any issues. It always performed faster than our overall customer portal.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

Our use case wasn't anything crazy, so for what we have done, it was totally fine. We run pretty small instances, so I can't judge its scalability for larger use cases.

How are customer service and support?

Customer service and support have been very good. I know the founding team well and have always felt that we received good service. We had more interactions compared to other software and services.

How would you rate customer service and support?

Positive

How was the initial setup?

The initial setup was very simple. As long as you give it access to your database, that’s it. It took about an hour.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

For what they do, I think Rockset is priced just right. I wouldn't say it's cheap or expensive. It's definitely worth the money for the problem it solves.

What other advice do I have?

Rockset is now bought by OpenAI. It’s uncertain if Rockset will continue to exist as it is. OpenAI may have its own agenda for it. They have started canceling some contracts with customers, so this might change how Rockset operates.

I'd rate the solution eight out of ten.

Which deployment model are you using for this solution?

Public Cloud

Used to get data from the database faster

  • June 21, 2024
  • Review provided by PeerSpot

What is our primary use case?

We use Rockset to get data from the database faster, just like MySQL. Our actual database was not in the query language. We were getting a replica of that database, and there was a breach. Anything that is changed on the database will also be stored in Rockset. We used the solution for analytics purposes.

What is most valuable?

Rockset is very fast, and you can query just like in MySQL.

What needs improvement?

Filtering the database based on indexes is difficult in Rockset and should be simplified.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using Rockset for the last two years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

Rockset is a stable solution.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

The solution has good scalability.

How was the initial setup?

The solution’s initial setup is straightforward.

What other advice do I have?

Rockset is an easy tool, and anyone can use it. The solution provides some type of data grouping. This grouping of data based on some parameters is not simple, but it is very useful. I would recommend the solution to other users.

Overall, I rate the solution an eight out of ten.
