It’s a little confusing to upload videos but once the videos were uploaded it was easy to use.

At times adding stimulus material can be time consuming, multi steps...

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were able to get our university to purchase a site subscription which makes this platform available to all faculty. so relieved.
Useful, but Glitchy
What do you like best about the product?
I loved seeing comments on my videos at the exact moments discussed. I found the organization of the website easy to navigate. I haven't used many other video commenting apps, but I was pleased with how user-friendly it was for the most part.
What do you dislike about the product?
It took a long time to upload videos. My videos were on my phone, and I had to keep the screen unlocked the whole time. If the screen went to sleep, I had to start over.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used this for my student teaching course at California State University Fullerton. We had to record ourselves teaching and upload those videos for assessment and comment on by a coach.
Pandemic panacea
What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can provide detailed feedback to my students at specific times in the video and also require their peers to do the same. This feedback can be open ended and tied to specific criteria in a rubric. Amazing!
What do you dislike about the product?
The on boarding process for new students. My school would like to pay for student accounts. It would be great to allow students to do this themselves and give them a school code to enable them to bill my department. That way the student could take care of the registration process entirely on their end.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For me in particular, I am solving the problem of how long it takes to watch lessons in a classroom. Call react allows me to use that class time for additional explanations and also provides stability during the pandemic to account for excessive absences.
First semester using Go React for a graduate level assessment course
What do you like best about the product?
Convenience, ability to time stamp comments in a variety of formats (text, audio, etc), ability to have peers review each other, ability to upload rubrics.
What do you dislike about the product?
Often, there is a lag between typing a comment and seeing it appear. Greatly lengthens the time it takes to review.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's really nice to have everything in one place- for myself and for my students.
Positive User Experience,
What do you like best about the product?
Easy roll out with staff, good support from the UK HQ
What do you dislike about the product?
Other more expensive versions have a higher "finish" and feel, but this is an acceptable trade off
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Recording videos of student teachers to allow them to self reflect and take feedback from metnors
Very difficult program
What do you like best about the product?
I like that students can interact in visual and audio formats.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's disorganized and difficult for students to navigate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When my students call for support, they are told to look in another course of which they have no access.
JMU GoReact
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to use it to support teachers remotely.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be somewhat cumbersome to set up initially.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No Problems. I do enjoy the on-demand feedback for my teachers. It has made remote working and providing timely feedback an efficient and effective process.
Easy to use for students and teachers
What do you like best about the product?
I like that when I am giving feedback to a student, I simply need to start typing as soon as the thought occurs to me. The video automatically pauses and my feedback is then tied to that specific spot in the video.
What do you dislike about the product?
As a student, I disliked being required to pay for the subscription out of pocket. I also am not a fan of the amount of bandwidth required to upload a video, however, this is just part of college life.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to provide quick feedback to my sign language interpreting students without downloading a bunch of videos to my computer and taking up space. I also can catch very small and fast details on the time marker and help students resolve these issues by matching the comment with the exact moment the issue arises in their work.
