What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of the website and the look of the website
What do you dislike about the product?
I hate how long it takes to upload a video and how the site times out sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been able to record my lesson observations without having to have my Supervisor present.
Useful for language classroom

I like that I can stop at any point and add a comment at a specific time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing yet! So far it's been ideal for language teaching.

I enjoyed using GoReact to encourage my students to practice their pronunciation and give me the opportunity yo provide detailed feedback in ways I wasn't able to before.
Exactly What I Need
What do you like best about the product?
I like that you can pause the video and add comments in video format or text format. It gives lots of options. I also like that you can direct record and upload, as sometimes I prefer to upload.
What do you dislike about the product?
Downside is that certain things aren't as intuitive. For example, as a ASL interpreting master's level student, sometimes the "category" feedback stuff seems like overkill.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SUPER easy in a COVID world to provide meaningful feedback and critique for interpreting assignments. Can even be used for RTAP and TAP strategies. It even has been helpful for live collaborative meetings.
Good Experience for Early Field Experience Students
What do you like best about the product?
I like the idea that I can confidentially review a student teaching, provide feedback and have them provide feedback too. We can communicate about what we are seeing.
What do you dislike about the product?
We had some difficulty when the students used GoReact to record on their computers. A thumbnail would come up, but the video would not play. After talking with the GoReact support this seemed like something they were aware of and were working on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using one platform to review student lessons and both the instructor and student can watch the video.
GoReact saves time
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite part of GoReact is its ability to be integrated into Canvas. It's easy to create course assignments.
What do you dislike about the product?
It does take time to set up the rubrics and markers. However, this is time well spent to make sure the students understand the assignment expectations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
GoReact allows the students and teachers/professors to leave feedback on instances that occur during the lesson. Both parties can leave feedback on the same video segment.
GoReact is perfect tool to get students to record an assignment & for me to provide feedback easily.
What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to provide feedback right when it is needed (timemarker) in the video. I don't have to jot down times and go old school.
What do you dislike about the product?
The testing option. It is just not feasible for me when teaching ASL.

Feedback is easy with markers and the comment box. very convenient. My student have to pay for access and I hate adding more costs to them in college. I wish my school would get a license but I am not sure how GoReact would apply to other courses to substantiate a license.

What do you like best about the product?
You can watch students live or from a recorded session. It makes collaboration so much easier. You can tag observations and include end notes, both the observer and teacher candidate.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of anything now! I discovered that if I start the observation before the candidate, they can see me on camera, but that can be a good thing too before they start the observation!

This is an awewsome platform to virtually observe candidates during the pandemic. There is easiness with candidates once they use the platform several times. They don't fear being observed.
It is user friendly and provides opportunities for feedback from both peers and professors.

I find it helpful that I can review my videos before submitting them.

It can be frustrating to figure out how to delete some of the videos that I don't want to post.

It helps us to connect as a team and see everyone's work before submission.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tech support is helpful and it benefits if I have a workshop with the Deaf group. Every time I have conflicts during the day because I am working all day at high school.
I have used GoReact for 4 years and have found it a valuable tool in my preparation of teachers.
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the ability to provide substantive feedback to my teacher candidates and to safely house videos to respect the confidentiality of K-12 students in special education.
What do you dislike about the product?
Using GoReact through our LMS platform has been difficult to navigate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The use of video to have a common experience with the teacher candidate aids in the coaching process.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
GoReact works best for first-time student users if you provide direct instruction and support using GoReact.
